I feel like the only reason the League has Nabu around as a member is so that they can make sure he doesn't do anything worse than he already has.

That and to make sure Zatara's body doesn't get damaged.

Wow, our resident body-thief zombie mage is proving to be that much more of a problem...in full sight of the league no less.

On a side note, have we seen evidence of the second compulsion Paul is acting under, because I think that I have a guess on that.

I'm not entirely sure how one would go about crucifying a helmet, but boy do I want to find out.
They had that whole bit about putting mice in tiny gold helmets and attacking Nabu through that. A crucifiction could probably be arranged.

Have to say I like that the orange lantern chaos worshipper is taking the reasonable stance.

Is the next segment more of the same analyses? I really want to see what he has to say about Guy.

You had your chance, Nabu...

Typos:

For some reason Doctor Munro was much less earer to meet him than he was the Beresfords.
"eager"

I create a construct meat geyser behind me, blasting out of the point directly back form where I tapped.
"from"

Now… I've changed myself so much that its pretty much impossible for me to test it safely.
"it's"

Well then. I'm just going to have to kill you.

Fair's fair, Paul is mucking about with the current order on many levels, and has...dealings with a chaos goddess on an intermittent basis (even if I believe he hasn't exactly lit incense in her honor or something?)

...but sometimes you just have to kill things that disagree with your vision of reality.

After the meeting:

Batman: "How long have you been planning on trying to get Nabu out of Zatara?"

OL: "Since the night of Roanoke. You?"

Batman: "The same, but I haven't been able to come up with any good solution."

OL: "Well, you have about three months to convince him to change his mind then."

Batman: "And what happens in three months?"

OL: "We exorcise the Lich."

Batman: "..."

You know, Nabu, there are options in between "I will blindly follow the chaos worshiper" and "No, fuck you, fuck you, and I am so totally awesome I don't need to justify myself to you."

Too bad that sort of thinking will lead to you getting chucked into the nearest event horizon...

Welp. Can't say Paul didn't try.

Really hoping one of the senior members of the justice league stop to ask him for more details about the whole "we could give Nabu his own body" idea. Apply more pressure, force Nabu to position himself opposite the League.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm hoping for.

Wasn't it mentioned by Nabus' superior that box guy that he would be willing to remove Nabu if he wasn't doing his job right as a Lord of Order?

Wouldn't violently protesting against getting a superior and more useful body to be more effective at his job count as going against what is logical and orderly?

I mean like mentioned there is no logical reason to turn down the offer when by all accounts it is a better deal than his current host.

At this point Nabu is simply being petty and likely so paranoid about being put on the shelf again he never wants to remove himself even at the chance for a better body.

Sounds like perfect reasons to fire him to me at least.
