I'm just gonna assume that this isn't true in WTR, because it's dumb. The galaxy rotates around the center of the galaxy, that's pretty obvious, but aside from the Milky Way's few orbiting dwarf galaxies, nothing else can meaningfully be said to orbit the Milky Way. Andromeda certainly doesn't, for instance.

Plus, they live on a planet, which orbits a star, which probably orbits the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy.

They can be near the center of the Galaxy because it makes sense from a logistical standpoint. They can be arrogant. But they really shouldn't be bad at astronomy.
IIRC someone mentioned a while back that the claim by the Guardians that Oa was the center of the universe was at least at one point made out to be a deliberate lie to distract enemies from the Life Entity on Earth. Which would make Earth the metaphysical center of the living universe, arguably.

Paul has the axe in his subspace right now, right? Ima guess some idiot hooked onto that and dragged him back without thinking "oh hey this guy ISN'T a metal mask fetishist murdering superheroes"

I think that Legion are not idiots and did understand that Paul is not Persuader, they jsut grabbed him because he doesn't appear in their histories, while changing things. Coluan's remark is sarcastic: "You went out to grab a psycho with an axe, that sure doesn't look like him".

A moment later I'm thrown out into some sort of… Small room made of a pale green material with a glowing red energy barrier covering the front. Through it I see the other four appear into the corridor outside, and a.. coluan nods in greeting before turning to look at me.

"This does not appear to be the Persuader."
I guess that answers the question of whether he can change things or not...

Oh man. I bet they think he's a rogue time traveler.

Suddenly appearing in the timeline out of nowhere, knowing things he shouldn't, knowing about people he has no way of knowing about...

I'm guessing this goes one of two ways:

1: This is why OL is not known in the future, he's suddenly taken to the future before he finishes his work and never returns.
2: OL is actually very well known in the future now, and they brought him back because they were excited to meet him. The other time-travellers have no idea because of time weirdness (they come from a future where that wasn't the case), or he only just overcame some events that stopped him due to all the time shennanigans. Or he's actually changing the timeline from the moment he arrived just like a normal time traveller (because he's from another universe), and his changes are only just rippling forward.

If 1 is true, then that's the biggest jumping the shark moment ever. All that build up for millions of words, and suddenly, it's a Legion story. None of the characters we care about exist anymore, congratulations.

something I could understand;
something I could understand:

"How long you been back on Earth?!"
He did a TV interview, she must have already had some idea he was around...

durlan
I would still capitalise this since they're named after a planet.

The male Human
And... Still capitalising this, but not capitalising Durlan?

...y'know, if paul's in the future, that means it's technically possible that enough time's passed for ambush bug to have finished going through all of marvel (you saw nothing) DC.

They put him in a cell?
Oh, this is going to go swimmingly.
Yeah. It's a risky proposition. Might not have a cell afterwards.

Well. LSH has been known to do 2.

It's also unlikely that LSH is timecopping, since that isn't a thing they do, AFAIK. Also, Dana probably wouldn't have played along if the Legion had told they had hostile intentions.

Of course, here we end up with the interesting question of: if you only have visual reference, can you differentiate between a genuine superhero and a good cosplayer.

Thank you, corrected.

The interviewer focused on the most recent events.

Not all durlans are Durlish.
