But, from what I understood, @Yog was referring to Epiphany when he posted his question. In that context, he was asking if Ms Sackville, that old lady who they frequently met to assist in the Nabu situation, had finally got in touch with Epiphany to analyze and investigate the Danner Formula, because Epiphany is an Alchemist (haven't read the numbers on Hellblazer where she appears but from what I read she seems to be a good one).

Three. Phileos (brotherly love), Eros (romantic love), Agape (unconditional love). And no, her behavior is far more one of the first two, at least at the moment. Agape is the kind of love where you love everyone even if they're the most vile scumbags on the planet.
Yeah, but by that line of reasoning you could claim that the first of those three is more like the second because you don't love all of your family, so it sounds more like guidelines then anything.

I don't know why but I can picture her blending with the predator, and in a moment of pique accidentally cloning/replicating paul, all his thoughts, and his flesh, and a blank soul quickly suffused with the violet light( his rings would not have been replicated but the tattoes to give him an arcane presence would have). That will be incredibly awkward but is not unreasonable for a comics verse.

Slow down Reika Shimohira

I know a bunch of people are saying this looks bad, but it doesn't strike me as that extreme. Not much beyond Kon seeing Paul again either, I vaguely think.

Yes, it's violet light, but she already had that, and then we don't see any more beyond that first surging rush of excitement. So it may not end horribly.
Logically, I would agree with you. This might be some different aspect of affection for a person that has supported her and has worked the most to save her father.
This is DC universe though. So I don't have much hope that that is the case and will remain so. Relationships are complicated for most characters in this setting.

Sometime during his visit to Earth, I want the SI to make good on his promise to add orbital defense platforms to defend against potential invasion. Even if there aren't that many local power that might invade, and the Justice League could generally fend off a scouting party without casualties, Earth is still rather vulnerable. Not only could some faction hear about the tech that Earth can produce, but the SI is likely to make enemies that can't meaningfully attack the OLC/Maltus, but could hurt Earth. Mongul is one example that fits that description, and the Reach did invade/subvert the Earth for its tech and supers.

Random asteroid impacts are also a concern, and having one of the local Lanterns redirect/destroy said asteroid isn't a great solution considering how often they aren't on Earth.

So...uh...which is it?

Mercy Graves is the cyborg (?) Bodyguard and Personal Assistant for Lex Luthor, works for him but doesn't have anything to do with Alchemy nor Research on Danner Formula.

Epiphany Greaves is an Alchemist, from Hellblazer lore, referenced by Clarice Sackville, to whom she was gonna send the Danner Formula for investigation. Now seems to be working under Lex Luthor as well, in the Research Center on India, with Nyssa Ratko and Arnold Munro presumably (and any other Alchemist and Scientist that Luthor may have gotten his hands on).

Also, while the reach might have been butterflied away from earth (maybe) OL did piss off Mongul's daughter. I also feel like an FTL interdiction system would be an easy sell to the UN/League, might even get the ball rolling on that planetary defense force.

"No! I had the G-Gnomes give me a full high school education and passed my General Equivalency Diploma instead. I mean, spending three more years going to high school just felt like such a waste of time when I could learn everything in a couple of hours instead." Mister Zatara's gaze makes it clear who he blames for that bit of lateral thinking. Not that she's wrong
The funny thing is, while it's in different circumstances (teaching people who haven't been in human society before how to interact properly) on the other side of the story we've got Grayven sending people to school anyway even with G-Gnome assistance.

Uh... yes, the first IS more like the second than the third. Agape is considered to be "divine" and not actually achievable by mortals. It's not guidelines, it's definitions -- it's creating labels for different kinds of love in order to discuss the similarities and the differences.

And yes, thank you, both people who pointed out the one I hadn't ever heard of before.

Yeah, it would probably be a good idea to find some other large group for her to form connections in; maybe he could use the demon to angel project to bring together some different groups of magic users, and then introduce them to each other, so that she can have a group of magically competent people working toward learning greater things to use as a setting for her to connect to others in. Sort of like how i assume that collages were like in something around the eighties (?) in that everyone is working shit out in the same place.

I was talking more about how a definition only ever defines platonic ideals, and even then i was just using it as a comparison; even if Violet Light exposure causes love it doesn't make one form of love to be more liely then another, so it might defult into something sort of like what i was talking about.

Thus far the Violet Light seems to prefer eros, and only picks up the rest as an afterthought.

So wait, Lex got the Danner Formula from the Doctor guy AND the alchemist that John marries in a different continuity?

The alchemist was given the formula from Ms Sackville, who got it from OL, and the immediately gave it over to Lex. Researched the thing she was givin in confidence by a peer then immediately started work for Lex?

Wow, I don't usually feel this way but I wouldn't mind if she was turned into a orange light construct.

Gotta say, conclusion of the battle between Young Justice and Young Offenders? Deeply unsatisfying.

Do we ever get to the point where the "Good Guys" accomplish something without the "Bad Guys" getting an advantage or having no real consequences?
