... OL is gonna turn the mountain into a giant transforming Mountain-Mecha powered by Orange Light batteries and has the ability to learn and use magic, isn't he?

I dunno, OL seems rather rational at times, and then he does shit that makes me think "Only by the grace of god was he not put into the Girl Genius universe."
Nah, he's a nominally sensible person, which means that if he makes a mobile mountain, it will be a tank. Because Tanks are sensible, and supertanks are criminally underused (which is a shame because the few examples that exist are bear cavalry levels of awesome).

"Orange Lantern to Justice League. My calculations suggest that Oceanus is about five miles tall. If he's standing on the sea bed, he should be visible from the waist up once the clouds are gone."
That's nuke it size, especially given it's in the middle of the ocean.

I left that in my bedroom, didn't I?
It's getting a bit silly at this point, I am almost starting to think the sword has a "forget me" spell on it or something.

Tidal wave once more, of course. Just moving at that size would cause mass destruction.

the ratio and space matches Oceanus' Trident.

Technically not wrong, but might read better as "spacing".

traditional depictions of Oceanus show the claws springing directly form his head

Might be correct, but also might be meant to say "streaming".

It might just be, you are blocking this way for me to cause damage.

What happens if I attack land in a different direction?

For a while now I've had this sneaking suspicion that Nabu actually does way more shit to keep the world safe than anyone knows about, and that OL smacking him down is going to trigger a lot of bad things.

This would actually be really interesting, too see how he reacts. Oceanus is probably only mid-level for Apokalyps, but the fact that he's at that level at all is a bit of a change.
Well, Canis was very interested when he heard that Earth had what he referred to as "old gods". So yeah, he would probably react in at least some manner. In fact, his reaction to the situation in general should be interesting.

It's not going to be an exact minute thing. He mentioned at the start not wanting to be tripped up by something as silly as a time zone difference, remember?
I think that Paul will wait an extra day, too. But image that he might act as if it was "that extact minute" he goes "Ta, ta gents!"...:p

EDIT: I wonder if Oceanus is wholly there, and JL is full of idiots. You don't send Olympian worshipper to talk with Titan. *facepalm*
Donna had not-zero chance to not piss off the sea Titan. Diana? She respects some Olympians and worships the others.

Take note that among Titans the only dick move was Kronos's eating of his brats. The only dick move recorded, that is. Oceanus was mentioned as cranky old sea god who disliked all Olympians equally. Mostly because his daughters were getting their attentions ... too often.
And if people don't understand. Poseidon is his brother's brother. Only Hades can keep it in his pants among the three.

Missing a word here between the two orange words. I'm guessing looks from the context.

Thank you, corrected.
Has OL ever had the sword on him when he needed it?
When he killed the First.

They did a lot of other damage just by being around. Think like Exalted Primordials in that respect.
Hit him in the head with a B61 and the Atlanteans at the bottom of the sea won't even notice.
Until the radiological material reaches them.

Oceanus is about five miles tall.
Are you sure you've thought this through, Mr Zoat?
At that size he'd weigh over ten billion tons and given his gestures and movements are described as only a few times slower than a human's (proportionally) his limbs are moving at several kilometres per second.
This is in a world where thrown cars and lamp posts and punches are considered effective weapons for the heavy hitters. And OL's main weapons are slower-then-normal railguns.

To use an analogy, it's as if you'd written a drama set in an elementary school where the main weapons are flimsy sticks and small stones and the guy with a BB gun is pwning everyone, then someone summons godzilla. It's a very different scale.

Superman could fly right through Oceanus a dozen times and he wouldn't even notice.

Only detectable with some good instruments. Water is an amazing radiation absorber and nukes actually leave little radiation. Especially given how huge a volume of water we're talking about.
Despite what the movies tell you, just chucking nuclear waste from reactors (which is substantially larger in quantity of radiation than nuke fallout) onto the abyssal plane would be a perfectly good way of disposing of it.

He's also highly magical; I suspect that like the Flash he has a partial "opt out on physics" that lets him ignore a lot of those problems.

Yes.

There are always bigger fish.

I note that if Oceanus was trying to get to Olympus and was situated sufficiently near to the equator he might have to destroy North Africa first.

So this question is completely off topic to the current line of discussion but I was wondering how Frances Kane is doing? In both the Paragon and Renegade timelines.

Edit: This question probably seems to come out of nowhere so I'll provide some context. I've been rereading the Renegade stuff, because I rather like it, and I've just got to the part where she's mentioned, so it made me wonder how she's currently doing.
