Zoat, Wolf talking about dragging Hitler's soul from Hell and constructing a being around that creamy Hitler core kinda sounds like making a Lukhavim (?) John Constantine talked about during the Gotham Truggs arc.
Similar idea, but a rather different execution. Lukhavim are made from parts of damned souls while the God-Fuhrer would mostly have been made with earthly magics. Like normal Demons, Lukhavim need to expend energy to remain on Earth. The God-Fuhrer wouldn't.
Plus Wolf acknowledging Hitler is in Hell. He acknowledges his cause and it's spokesperson is evil enough for Hell, and still goes through with his bullshit full steam ahead.
Wolf acknowledges the existence of many gods. To his way of thinking, Hitler didn't go to Hell for being evil, but for breaking his pact with God that he would behave in accordance with Jesus' teachings.
EDIT: Is Eva Braun in Hell too? She did give Hitler happiness. Kind of deserves a lake of fire.
Lots of people go to Hell. The Silver City has really been abusing its monopoly position.
Ohhh! Will we have John Constantine giving some delicious expository dialogue?
No. Why would he know anything much about it?
Well, if Hitler committed suicide in Earth-16, then he should also personally think he goes to hell.
As previously mentioned, suicide was at the time considered an honourable way of avoiding capture by your enemies.
I'm confused. Why is Orange Lantern affected, when he has all these magical defenses, but Rocket wasn't?
Because Wolf remembered what happened last time and focused his efforts him the SI.

To be fair, that actually is how it works in DC. Sort of. You don't go to hell because you sinned, you go to hell because you expect to go to hell and they're perfectly willing to oblige you.

He could start using what one of my favorite authors calls the "Tutti-Frutti" approach: Try to merge as many ammo types as you can in the same rounds, to deal with things with unknown weaknesses. More expensive to craft, and somewhat more unwieldy, but useful in situations like these.

It'd be better to have a single clip that has one round of each type. That way you can see which ones actually hurt the guy and switch over to the appropriate rounds.

Yea, that was pretty clear. He even explicitly stated that he tried to convince hitler to abandon christianity, implying that had hitler done so he would not have gone to hell

I am also reminded of black adom and his fate. Choose your gods wisely.

Um, didn't they need these guys to get the Vikings home?

Luckily the nine realms of Norse Mythology are one of the easiest to travel between. Bifrost might be out of the question, but Yggdrasil stretches between all of them. Just keep an eye out for the Squirrel.

Edit: Upon doing some research, evidently Yggdrasil is the head of the parliament of trees in the DC-verse which may make things either easier or harder?

he has all these magical defenses
Can someone please make a list of all the tech and artifacts OL has picked up? I've lost track of what he has in his storage pocket dimension.

Aside from the Spell-Eater, what magical defenses does OL have?

Yes, I have a very bad memory.
Paul starts sweating profusely as his need to increase his arsenal makes its presence known.
there are plenty of combatants her tech's largely useless against
this is why you don't get into a weapon using contest with a orange lantern, they will pull out all the stops, double tap, and then do the equivalent of pissing on the corpse for making them do so.
Seeing the Spear of Destiny used to stab a Nazi makes me wish that after OL destroys Nabu, he uses fragments from the Helmet of Nabu* to made retractable claws housed in his forearms like Wolverine from "X-Men" as an emergency trump card.

*See Jared Stevens a.k.a. Fate who melted the helmet to make anti-magic throwing daggers.

Villain: "What good are you without your precious power ring?"
*SNIKT!!!*
OL: "I'm full of surprises, bub."
Villain: :o !!!

Wasn't OK immune to control because of his enlightenment?
He's immune to emotional manipulation because, like anyone else that's achieved enlightenment, he's perfectly capable of assessing his emotions objectively and preventing them from dictating his actions. You can make him hate someone but he won't attack them because he can see that said hatred is irrational and that acting on it wouldn't serve his interests.

As Zoat said, Wolf remembered how dangerous OL is from their last meeting and is focusing most of the Spear's power on him. At first he dismisses Rocket as a threat (a teen-aged black girl vs Captain Nazi? no contest. And he was correct, but not in the way he expected. :drevil:)

When he did use it against Rocket, he ordered her body to stop breathing.

Wasn't OL immune to control because of his enlightenment?
The Spear was controlling his body, not his mind.
