Thousand Isles (Riot God Quest)

alrighty, i dont particularly have any ideas at the moment. but who needs votes?

but who needs votes?
I need one more to pass for my Green Belt.

Also, about ideas... Sand Sea is capable of turning some lost things into treasures over time. So what do you think about throwing some odd stuff into it? It should be small enought o count as a Basic, right? 🤔

@MangoFlan Just to be sure, would limiting the quantity of Power's Bane sets to, say, 10 or so at a time (with the implication that they aren't indestructible) be enough to reduce my Act to Small?

edit: Or, in keeping with Caterpilar's suggestion, would being jewel-encrusted (or at least looking that way) be enough to count as treasure despite the curse?
On numbers... hmm. On the jewel-encrusted... also hmm. My main criteria for Pirate's Treasure is being searched for, I think, but I think the new edition of Power's Bane Armory meets my requirements.

Was there really an implication that the swords are indestructible? I think they function more like glass cannons. Big and powerful but offer little protection. I think it primarily as a field leveler, as in putting opponents at a level playing field, putting one on the same level as their opponent. I think there's an emphasis of fairness here.

This was pretty much my intention with them- basically "no matter what your relative power levels, they will try to force things to actually be equal, even if it means completely removing you from the fight."

Note: In the next few weeks, I've decided that I will not be working on updates. Exams are around the corner and I will not be able to focus on this.

[x] Authored Act: Squiddle: What seems to just be a disturbingly cute squid plush. it has magnets in some tentacles, so that it can hug things. (this should be basic right?)
[x] Wishing sands
[x] Greenbelt
[x] Serpent's oil salesman
[ ]

edit: yes i know my previous format was incorrect, twas just as placeholder

I was not looking to do this but I need two votes to get the Serpent's Oil Salesman pass. I am willing to change my votes to support people who will support me.

@Crawkid I adjusted my post to have the actual name of the vote but thank you.

A/N: *I'm being generous to this act, because I like it very much. It offers so much potential that I can't simply ignore it. I can already envision a number of storylines I can make with this. It will get some nerfs for sure.

I actually don't know if you're liking the direction of the quest so far. I'm currently leaning more into more narrative and character-driven segments and away from the descriptive segments I started the quest with. I feel like the current direction is more impactful, emotional, and dramatic as well as being more creatively freeing. What can you comment about the writing style of the quest?

Two things, first I really like the way that you do the writing for the quest it makes it seem far more personal and it helps us get the view of the world from the ground. Really good for getting into the mind of the world.

Second I would like to use an Omake point on Serpent Oil Salesman

You know, I know I probably missed a couple omakes. I know I have some uncredited/unthreadmarked omakes somewhere that I forgot to credit or passed by too fast.

Did anyone in this place tried to fly beyond Sand Sea and into Endless Void? How far and why, I wonder? 🤔
