Could reaching out and soothing kids every time they get upset or angry with the Force have developmental effects? Like make the kids less excitable and rambunctious? Or make them less inclined to feel angry?
Depends on if it's soothing as in "doing normal things, just via or augmented by empathic connections," or Soothing as in "dampening someone's emotions like you're a brass Allomancer." The implications of each are obvious, and I doubt that Jedi would go for the latter option.

But dealing with emotions is the Dark Side, so that wouldn't work.
Using emotionally charged force energy is the definition of the dark side but using the light to attain a sense of peace and calm isn't and if their first response to any emotional reaction is to use the light to calm the children and later on for the children to calm themselves with the light then that could cause problems for their emotional development.

And the whole feedback loop is broken to start with as the Dark side nexus under the temple taints the process from the beginning.
It's a wonder the Jedi lasted as long as they did.

What is this "Cradle" some of you are talking about? It's hard to look up a title with only one word in it.
sure Will Wight's Cradle series is currently a ten book series with likely plans for at least two more books if the current trend holds. Possibly more. Though I don't follow the man's blog, and only recently discovered the series so I wouldn't be the one to ask about that. It's a cultivation series and you'll have to get through amazon. First book is pretty lackluster. Second starts humming right along as the series finds it feet and less background info needs to be explained, and by the end of book three I wasn't able to buy the second collection fast enough. Highly recommend it. If your skeptical and want a taste first there's a few good worm crossovers on this site you could check out first but, spoilers, obviously. Because those all use the Cradle setting and not worms.

I don't know. I could see them like many sentients going, "well this is how it was for me so this is how I should do it." Then each generation goes fractionally further as their own personal ability to cope without drugs force manipulation degrades. Heck given their own up bringing they likely consider it a favour to do so giving them a head start on one of the hardest parts of being a jedi.

That said as the process goes on they probably get better and better at self manipulation at an instinctive level making them better detached Jedi. So it isn't entirely without a positive for them from their perspective and day to day living.

AN: yes that was an invitation for you all to suggest viewer questions.

Ideas:
  • Get one episode with Count Dooku - will he present the light side (due to the rule of 2) or subtly push the dark side?
  • Getting one of the Witches of Dathomir on the show would be really interesting.
  • A cameo showing Anakin's viewpoint as his worldview shifts from all this?
  • Go out to the outer rim and encounter a member of the Yuuzan Vong.
  • Get some really alien viewpoints, so distinct from Humonoid that it doesn't fit into the Light vs Dark paradigm.

"My kid's interested in your videos, but I've watched a few of them, and I'm concerned that he might get into something he can't handle. What age is a good age?"

"Look. My buddies have been getting all into the stuff you've been laying down, and they're *real* interested in the Dark Side. Like, the Sith are some of the most badass warriors to ever walk the galaxy, and they *want* some of that. I heard some stuff, and I'm worried, but just telling them I'm worried isn't cutting it. They're starting to get angrier, and I'm starting to get a bit scared. What can I tell them that's a real, solid downside that they'll actually *listen* to to get them to back up a bit and chill down a bit and maybe not go all ragemurder on my ass? Please reply quickly."

"I take it that your friends are 'Opening themselves up to the Dark Side'? Let them Know that while hydrofluoric acid can be useful when properly channeled, only an suicidal fool would bathe in it.

More like FOOF, which rests easily right up at the top of the "most dangerous substances in the known universe" list. It and everything near it will immediately go up in flames or (more likely) explode horrifically violently. While also going up into flames, and then exploding some more. It even oxidizes water. And even asbestos -- explosively. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if that stuff could somehow manage to oxidized force fields. And yes, I know that chemistry doesn't work that way. I'd still be standing well back, just in case.

"It gives you ED. Well, unless they have a *ahem* very specific emotional focus. See the focus on an emotion tends to create a feedback loop of that specific emotion and blocks out/dulls all others. Focus on anger/rage above all else and things are going to shut down downstairs."

Am I even wrong tho :V

And if you wanna use lust to make your dick bigger make sure both you and your lover are together in a sealed room preferably sound proof to reduce disturbance and that at a set time sleeping gas is spread in the room so you don't "fall" and have Ben doing the exercise for a while now so there isn't a death by snoosnoo John sighs "poor bastards" as he thought of the reports of those who already tried

A question for the author and all those who see this

When John used light and dark at the same time it seemed like he replaced his last name with "wick" but discount so if he did it right would he be able to basically super sayin himself

EX: commander: we have a armada class ship and his ship is a friguet (don't know how to spell it) class ship WHY HAVENT WE HIT THEM ONCE what kind of advanced ship is that
Officer:i-it's a c
Commander: say it already
Officer: it's a cargo ship sir
Commander: that's a CARGO ship he's making starfighters seem like the Death Star

It makes sense to
John wick is a "man of focus, commitment and sheer will" that's mixing light and dark force and he acts in that way that does that just without the force
I just thought of the saying " emotion is the material for witch you make the blade of action and it is thought that gives it shape and form

A sith is a savage throwing rocks

A Jedi is a master swordsman without a blade
