Transposition, or: Ship Happens [Worm/Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio | Arpeggio of Blue Steel]

Chapter 3.4 was supposed to have come out in May, i wonder what has happened to it?

Maybe by posting the author will remember and post an update? It could be all part of a cunning plan that we have no hopes of understanding.

I rather she take her time and post when she is ready so she does not get burned out on the story, trying to force her to write is good way too do just that. So we should just wait untill she ready to post the next chapter after all we all love the story so it shouldn't be hard to give the writer the time she needs.

sorry moderators i did not know sv is better at necromancy than sb and accepts it has natural (sorry for misspeling)

Honestly, rather than hoping to see regular updates from @ensou, I just hope she's okay.
Depression is a terrible illness that makes life a massive struggle. I could spend awhile ranting and raving about how much it sucks, but the end point to it all is just 'rather than being asking about updates, ask how she's doing and send her well wishes.'

Also AFAIK she hasn't been on in awhile.

There isnt any necro rules on SV anyway so no problems really.
Just because something is not forbidden does not mean it is in any way shape or form welcome!
this story is Amazing

(and before any moderators methaporicly or however it's spelled fuck my ass with warnings this author does update slow so this is probably not dead yet ok?)
Couldn't you PM the author? Did you really need to do this? What you did is annoying!

Yeah I haven't been on SV in like an actual month >.> Pretty much a couple weeks after I posted that third Composite chapter over in the compilation thread.

I've been working basically full-time, as this has been peak season for us, and that means being on my feet for seven or eight hours a day, five days a week, at which point I'm pretty dead afterwards. My creative drive is pretty much murdered by that and my depression only makes it worse. Interacting with people that much just tires me out like nothing else

So, I fall back to other things that don't require major thinking, i.e. Destiny 2 which has been eating up time now that cross-save is a thing and I can actually use my unnecessarily overbuilt desktop for something other than compiling software projects.

On top of that, I've been dealing with hard drives dying on me. I had a soft failure a long time ago that destroyed my filesystem but left the files intact so that I could do data recovery, but I've never sorted through the hundreds of thousands of unnamed, unorganized files. Just today I had another drive seemingly have a hard failure, which I barely avoided losing anything (I think) by catching small hints of data corruption in missing file data, letting me rsync the entire filesystem less than thirty minutes before the controller finally bit the dust.

So yeah, I've been dealing with all that. Consolidating, de-duping, and organizing about 35TB of data across 50TB of drives is a really fun time guys. /s

However, the season is winding down now, my hours will be cut back to a more part-time number, and in addition there'll be much less people even coming in when we are open. I'm hoping that lets me focus on writing more, as I have been feeling pretty guilty about the fact I haven't even touched my text editor seriously in like a month.

Paradoxical, Transposition, Composite, and AFHB are all at the top of my priority queue for writing once I finally can/do, with each having about half of the next chapter written for each.

Edit: also please do not derail the thread by arguing about necro rules for over a page. The AFHB thread has already received a mod notice and banner, and I'd hate to have that be necessary here as well.

It's absolutely fine to take the time you need. Customer Service is a shitty industry, stress and depression rarely mix well, and I'd definitely prefer you focus on writing when you'll actually enjoy doing so, rather than just because you feel guilty.
Take care of yourself first. (Seriously, I know how bad it gets. My depression is awful too.)

I for one would rather wait for you to be on top of your game and do things properly, than try and pressure you into rushing at the expense of your health and the story both.

hmm... with Shadowkeep right around the corner, a new chapter will probably take some more time which isn't a bad thing in my opinion.

Take your time, have fun if possible and don't worry to much about writing stuff. Your health and private life is much more important and I doubt that anyone would like for you to force yourself to write anything.

Edited: if you're looking for someone to just play with, I would gladly do so. No mic and so on, if you don't want (considering that my english is pretty bad, at least when I try to speak) and I'm not currently at work at that time :D

Trust me, as someone that loves your stories I hate to throw them in there myself. I just hope that people can manage to practice self-control.

It would be pretty neat.

Soooo... if we aren't allowed to talk about thread necromancy anymore... how about some random nekomancy?

I mean, a lot of them do seem to draw from Japanese media after all...

Nb. Should I find it entertaining that Ensou's avatar kept showing up in the top 50 images of any arpeggio image searches I ran... :D
