Transposition, or: Ship Happens [Worm/Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio | Arpeggio of Blue Steel]

3: Subs are interesting. With the ability to play with gravitons, space stealth is definitely a possibility, and with that possibility you can do a lot. So I think it's safe to say that ' submarines' are the recon/stealth units.
Considering the OP sensor system we see I-400 deploying (or 402 can't remember) I'd say yes. They act as the stealthy eyes and ears for the big guns who proceed to vaporize the target.

So to total it up:

Super-Battleship Eg. Yamato, Iowa : unlikely but possible

Fast Battleship: Likely, we have Iona's comment to go on.

Heavy Cruiser: Also likely, again we can thank Iona.

Smaller Vessels: Not likely, we start running into issues against higher tier threats such as endbringers and the golden muppet, which means the world is doomed and that story sucks so lets avoid it.

Subs: See above.

Carriers: I haven't seen a Fog carrier yet in the manga, but then I'm also not finished the manga I'm only on chapter 44.

We do see Lexington in chapter 75: Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio vol.9 ch.75

edit: From what I saw she could use planes, but since they are to small to support their forcefield tech she seems to just use the more traditional Macross Missile Massacre

If she was a cruiser I think she would go for something like the Atlanta.

Edit: But if she is going outside of WW2 ships than something like a Barghest from eve would work. It looks like a flying pancake but its made form the ground up to shit out missiles like its going out of style.

Not likely, too small with too little firepower. Remember she has to deal with Endbringers, which she knows about, and Iona's already stated Fast Battleship or Heavy Cruiser, both of which are on the opposite end of the spectrum from the Atlanta, which is a Light Cruiser unless my research is wrong.

Edit: Somehow she doesn't strike me as an EVE ONLINE player.

I think I saw something (on the wiki, I think, but I'm not quite sure where it would be in the manga) where it said fog planes were as advanced as the rest of the fog stuff, but used WWII air combat philosophies, while the 6th generation human fighters stayed at range and destroyed them with over the horizon missile attacks.

Something about being too resource heavy to build or even deploy.

More, the FoF doesn't suffer from the problem of WWII battleships

The other issue was speed. The Iowa class were designed to be "fast", able to keep up with the Essex-class aircraft carriers. Montana was reviewed and decided to sacrifice speed for much stronger armor. As the aircraft carriers proved to be much more important in the Pacific theater, the Montana plans were scrapped in favor of more Iowa-class which would be able to escort the numerous aircraft carriers also being built.

The Fog however, don't have this problem at all, traveling an average of three times the speed of their WW2 counterparts (even underwater. Fucking Fog bullshit). Not to mention that Taylor doesn't have any requirements or limitations in terms of speed since there's no other Fog around to coordinate with. She'll probably be more concerned with firepower and armor, since capes like Alexandria, Legend, Siberian, Damsel, Scrub, etc. are scary physics-breakingly powerful.

Plus Taylor's got QA to help with nanomaterially things :p

And somehow Montana!Taylor just became more likely.... Also I saw that like earlier Ensou, does that mean what I think it does?

dont know, i was thinking of a fog tech battlestar.
BUT WHO CARES, ITS DAKKA WE ARE TALKING ABOUT LOL
DAKKADAKKADAKKADAKKA

Announcer: And for our next Challenger: Introducing Taylor, The Wonder Ship

*Montana-Class Battleship lunges out of the water and rams Leviathan*

Announcer: And he's down, Ladies and Gentlemen the destroyer of Kyushu and Newfoundland is down with a Battleship on his chest. He's going to feel that one in the morning people.

Ah navy ships. I have stood on the decks of every battleship still afloat save missouri. There is nothing like a battleship to inspire awe. Carriers are cool but they just dont have that feeling of impending doom that a battleship exudes just by existing.
