Bwuhhh 😵💫 okay so, gun to my head, leaving myself little time to think, my top Town-Read from reading through the thread (and now briefly rereading the last couple pages) is Clown Bean, I like their posts in general, I think this one is a good example (partially because it's a *lot* shorter 😅):
I mean, yeah, but from that angle it's just NAI, imo? So it just seems like a bad wagon. We get no information out of it, it's functionally a policy lynch, and I do think that we can do better D1.
mm. IDK I put little faith in scumslips to be honest, so I'm probably not the best person to assess this- I feel like slips in wording are frankly much more likely to be committed by careless townies than anything, but this still mostly just reads like a joke independent of 99Lies' alignment to me.
Also Nani nailed it ftr. It feels really weird to be starting to come up with potential scumteams prior to a flip if you aren't pretty sure someone is scum?
They have the same reasoning/doubts about the 99L wagon as I do, so I'm inclined to think they're towny. And, overall they feel very genuine, very open, I don't get the feeling that they are hiding anything/have anything to hide.
Strongest Scum-Read is a trickier subject. Ignoring low posters (simply because, well, that seems a bit of a cop-out honestly) and the whole 99L/YP thing (messy) I would probably point at... hmmm... Logos?
(I went back to read Logos' posts, my prior reasoning was that they haven't really posted after meme phase ended, but then I saw this post:
And checking what posts Zaealix has made led me to this series.
The push is more of a meme than anything else, gained no traction, and was swiftly abandoned. As was said in arguments at the time, a scum chat would probably counsel against making this kind of case... and perhaps they did, and weren't heeded; the three hour gap speaks against 'not fast enough'. But the case was made, and it might make sense to drop a case like this against a teammate who is attracting a lot of attention and might get hit by a vig or cop at some point. At least, it makes more sense to me than trying this case against town, or as town.
I still want to know what 99L was thinking asking for vanillas, but I feel like this is both more likely to hit scum and possibly more productive if it does.

... and that coupled with my catching up to the thread after you (Rosen) pinged me, kinda changed my mind)
Looking at Zaealix, it seems they spent a lot of the early game just throwing votes around, which is not really scummy but also a super easy way for scum to be in thread without really contributing, no? And then the whole counter vote thing... ugh, sorry, I really don't have anything helpful here.
It seems our top three candidates, 99L, YP, and Zae, all have gotten some variation of "but that's just Town!99L/YP/Zae" in their defense (of which I am admittedly guilty), which kinda nullifies any suspicions I might have in those directions.
