    • The party of nine from where they had entered in the night comes out to a party of seven, all of them looking as two more of their numbers have vanished. And so like every night prior, the two missing are revealed.



    The first is revealed as Reisen Inaba, Moon Rabbit on Earth (@Shalmoa), who 'died' from a Knock on the Head.



    The second is revealed as Alice Margatroid, Seven-Colored Puppet Master (@dinomannitro6), who 'died' from being Knocked Out In A Closet.

    And a message is left upon the table to read.

    • So we end up at yet another crossroads, Hermit and Wiadi for this phase's vote. Hermit Proposes a three player scum team of Wiadi/Rosen/IH, which just so happens to then vote for Hermit, there is some clear support for that world. Thus I should clearly follow through with holding to my Wiadi elimination. Any other movement is death by granting scum control of the vote.
    Yet then I have to weigh the various options of if I really believe in 5 scum game, it isn't unreasonable but the only night that looks like it even remotely could suggest scum requiring more than 4 players at start is night 3, and there are certainly questions there. On the Hermit side we have an unproven claim of Vigilante, a brave claim from scum especially newbie scum, but held the shot night 2, and night 4 was roleblocked the same night confirmed town Shalmoa was, who scum resulted in having Atoms eliminate for them last night. Which is just straight up an indication of scum chosing to seemingly use a double roleblock on shalmoa and Hermit when they could've just redirected a truthful Hermit. It seems farfetched with a confirmed redirection from Atoms that the double roleblock was real when byzantine's cheers could've basically fallen anywhere and we can't quite know where. Thus I have to make a vote on hermit

    Yet that could've simply been a scum plan, to make Hermit unconfirmed, or is it scum wine, so lets look at the only hermit scum ally I can 100% fathom right now YP, YP could've confirmed IH truthful or not by watching them to find a Roleblock, but they didn't they went to a soon to be dead body. Seems almost intentional, having confidence in roleblocks on the claimed Gunsmith slot would've given us a second townie to confirm and maybe even 3 depending on IH's night results or just confirmed scum. Which also noting Vigilante claim is just a good way to hide from a claimed gunsmith. What we really don't know is just how much information scum were able to grab. In the Scum Hermit and YP world there is very minimal bussing, in the scum Rosen/Wiadi/IH world there is a crap ton of bussing, in a world with 5 scum though bussing is more viable, in the 4 scum world defending your allies especially after losing one day 2 is a lot. In the 5 world scum look to be an advantage and a way to toss maybe weaker scum roles out to pasture for credit. Roleblocker strong, redirector strong, delayer strong. All just very reasonable.
    But Wiadi's claim is just also bad, first off why night get the chat night 1? Its just better.

    • And so the party organized upon the vote of the sixth day, and it was with grim results for what had come forth.


    The mask slipped off to reveal Kagerou Imaizumi, the Bamboo Forest's Loup-Garou (@A Wise Hermit), it falling below.

    But it was upon this that for the remaining six, their masks each lit up in color of their alignment. There were three Party-Goers, and there were three Party-Crashers.

    And so it was mathematically impossible to win for the Party-Goers, with the Party-Crashers having won the game.


    With congrats to @Wiadi, @-Rosen, @ComiTurtle, @Variable, @Logos and @Cyricubed for winning the game. Thank you to everyone for partaking in my first mafia game never let me run a game with twenty-one people again. Full Role PMs will be shared in the thread shortly and I should be sharing a write-up sometime tomorrow.

    If I hadn't been lynched I would have fake-doused Clown Bean for that Dohble-voter thing, see what shakes out from that.
     
    For the record, sorry I had to bow out of this one. I was honestly feeling fine when I signed up, but then at the end of the year SAD hit me like a load of bricks, the hardest it has all winter, and I just couldn't function for a few days. I'm doing a lot better now, but it is what it is.

    I think both sides played pretty decently, though I do think a lot of town can learn a lot from this game, to be honest. I know I learned a thing or two. I'll probably elaborate later when my head is in a different space.

    Also I did provide a justification for my claiming in Observer Chat, and I ddo more or less stand by it, though don't expect me to do it next time; I do want to see how things play out if I take the opposite approach.

    some of my posts at you were directly sussing, but a solid 50-70% is just gameplay advice
    'there's no other possibilities' is seldom ever correct in a closed game, barring like an explicit red check.
    you really needed to not focus on mechanics half as much; use them for falsifying theories, or as the seed for theories, but back them up with 'this player is making odd posts and odd votes'. The latter is publically verifiable, the former is something scum can fuck with.

    Yeah to be honest I kinda deliberately didn't engage with the ideas, mostly because I thought it was pretty impossible to engage with reasonably in the first place. The only real rebuttal in that regard was the Triple-Bus idea, which in our end state it was easier to just try to force a miselim through than lead into an F5.
     
    If YP doubted my -Rosen scumread I literally had a post planned in my notes that said that -Rosen was like Miles Edgeworth updating the Autopsy Report in the court record, because there ain't no way that 4 - 5 scum team observation was real that late in the game
