Asking for more than your people can give is a good way to get said people to start ignoring your orders and/or looking for alternatives.
Anyway, I'm not 100% convinced, but for now I think I'll go with

They are attacks on the Crone, except instead of attacking with surplus of water, I want to draw it away. This far north they already know how to deal with heavy Snowstorm, but there is no way to deal with Drought. In the actual plan I have already switched one of them over to Draw Rain away as well. That far inland they depend more on hunting and farming instead of fishing and that would potentially kill their crops as well. Less direct but no less lethal to her people. Silver Moon and Moonlight would help boost that as well to ensure that they starve and dehydrate as well as mess with her Readings. Silver Moon also doesn't have the 40 DE, 2 Ambrosia costs, and high DC threshold. What exactly is the point of this? Like what's the end game of doing this?
This puts over 100 DE into attacking the Crone while putting the rest of it into growth actions.[X] Plan Calm and Storm
-[X] Control Waters*** - You have innate lordship of water and all it's forms, but you have especially strong ties to The Sea. Costs: 10 DE

--[X] Call Fish.
---[X] x2
-[X] Moonlight** - The moon shines bright this night, revealing things that hide in the dark. Can cause Weird, also empowers a number of relevant actions (Astrology, Perform (Trickery), Water-element Influence Actions, etc.). Costs: 20 DE

[X] Silver Moon* - The silver moon, gray and dull upon an indigo night, colored to better contrast the stars and reveal their incredible secrets. Very strongly alters Astrology actions and empowers the wind. Costs: 25 DE
-[X] Over an enemy's territory
[X] QUEST: Dominate - You will descend upon The Crone suddenly and with much fanfare. She is beneath your notice, a mere speck that all can see at a glance is lesser than you. Dominate her utterly. Costs: 16 DE. Remaining turns: ?
-[X] Travel elsewhere - Visit one of the villages you've discovered and mess with them! Costs: 6 DE - Crone Village, 8 DE - Imprisoned Settlements

-[X] Personally Incite - Travel onto the cold earth and indulge in sowing chaos and terror. Costs: 3 DE.
--[X] Reserve one for appeasement
-[X] Guide Ships - Guide and navigate the boats in person, sending them where they need to be. Costs: 6 DE

-[X] Study Stars - Study the skies and stars, seeking patterns that will tell you what was, what is, and what may yet be.
--[X] Read the Future - Look forward to what has not yet been, but may yet be. Will aid you in a number of ways during the turn, and warn you of potential dangers. Costs: 8 DE
-[X] Study Omens - Study the thrown bones, the light of the sun upon the clouds, and the entrails of the dead that will explain to you the results of your choices.
--[X] Read the Bones - Read the best way to do the things you wish done with the crafted bones. Will aid you in a number of ways during the turn, and reduce potential backlash. Costs: 8 DE
-[X] Make Demand - You have need of something and you will tell people what you want. Issues per turn: 4
--[X] Get me lots and lots of large stones!
[X] Demand Appeasement - You will have regular sacrifices! You demand it, even, or all under you will suffer! Costs: 5 DE (one time), 1 Decree slot (Must reserve an action, divine or avatar, as punishment for lack of appeasement)
-[X] Meet with Saiga. Costs: 0.5 Sustenance per option
--[X] Learn more about Niogg (has a maximum limit on successes)

Vehemence comes from damage done, not DE invested. Its a factor of buffing actions(Moon, Nox, Future reading) and target vulnerability.I wouldn't count on fear income; most of the attack DE is going in to boosting stuff, with only a small number of actual attacks. I wouldn't be surprised if we found ourselves far under the DE cap, especially conditioning on the scenario where we didn't win in the first place.
She can ask Saiga to find us for her for better odds. If we're doing stuff away from the village, sure, but if we're hanging around for blessings, and meeting Saiga, she can.Can the crone even reach us? With "The Goddess Sought", the crone will have to pass a survival or navigation check against our 9 trickery to find us, but it appears that she has neither skill.

True; DE invested is just a simple shorthand that usually serves to represent damage.Vehemence comes from damage done, not DE invested. Its a factor of buffing actions(Moon, Nox, Future reading) and target vulnerability.
So you suggest dropping one Moonlight and instead adding more Inciting Chaos and Lure in its stead?True; DE invested is just a simple shorthand that usually serves to represent damage.
The fact of the matter is, Moonlight actions are only a minor buff AFAIK; off the cuff, I'd estimate that they give maybe a 20% boost to appropriate actions on average. Nox can probably give a 50% boost on top of everything. So together, you've roughly doubled the effect of all your divine moon-esque actions.
Thus, you are getting maybe 60 DE worth of attack using divine abilities, plus maybe 30 DE from lure (note that it is boosted by less the other stuff, since Nox does not apply). All together, you have less than 100 effective DE worth of damage to a target at range while our VE multiplier is at an all-time low.
I'm not confident that that will fill our coffers, especially if we don't do too great in the influence conflict.
Mechanically he can find us...when his luck isn't crap.

That's total waste of time and energy.
No. The composition of actions is sensible, especially since it boosts the social combat rolls we are likely to do. It just isn't particularly lucrative DE-wise. This is largely a consequence of us simultaneously not having enough boostable divine actions to apply and the low VE multiplier. So you suggest dropping one Moonlight and instead adding more Inciting Chaos and Lure in its stead?
What's this cheaper you speak of? they are more expensive now.Accounting for triple Water attacks and that increased Influence made our Water powers significantly cheaper AND more powerful?
It made them cheaper? By my reckoning the became almost twice as expensive.Accounting for triple Water attacks and that increased Influence made our Water powers significantly cheaper AND more powerful?
What about mine? I don't spend the Ambrosia on Blacken and am not spending all of our Sustenance that would cause Gaerig to eat it all up anyway. It made them cheaper? By my reckoning the became almost twice as expensive.
Anyway, to answer the question, our increased influence helps, but the increased distance hurts us, not to mention that the Crone will probably try to oppose us somehow. We haven't seen this situation before so it is hard to judge things exactly, but I think there is a significant chance (>10%) that the combination of distance and opposition makes enough of our attacks wiff that we don't even get up to full DE next turn, much less restore our Ambrosia to cap.
What about mine? I don't spend the Ambrosia on Blacken and am not spending all of our Sustenance that would cause Gaerig to eat it all up anyway.
It is less risky, since it doesn't do blacken. What about mine? I don't spend the Ambrosia on Blacken and am not spending all of our Sustenance that would cause Gaerig to eat it all up anyway.
(¬ ¬ )Can I get a link to your plan, perhaps?
Then I can at least rip it apart with facts instead of mudslinging.

You cannot part the Red Sea two hundred feet deep for twenty miles in a line. I have a hard time parsing whether or not that'd be possible for a National god, let alone a local one.
My plan is also an attack one, but without Risking it all on BlackenSomething to note, Blessing for Growth sucks when Demand Appeasement isn't in effect, both in terms of DE returns and actual Growth.
The VE generation of the growth plan is also basically nonexistent.
In other words, both plans run the obvious risk of leaving us at half a tank or less next turn, with little sustenance.
If all goes well with the growth plan... We set up for another growth plan next turn. If it doesn't, we set up for a smaller growth plan next turn.
If all goes well with the attack plan, we set up for a big growth plan next turn - one backed by Demand Appeasement - Attrouska is neutered for a bit longer (best case she's deposed as Pantheon Head), and we figure out how effective Blacken is. If it doesn't go well, we explode for any of several reasons; or we end up bound - not dominated, I don't think a spirit can dominate a Local God even with the rules change, though a Spirit is no longer auto-dominated by said Local God - by the Ice Disk, which doesn't work nearly as well as it used to because we're no longer just Water, we are also the Night; or we lack the DE for anything more than a small growth turn backed by Demand Appeasement.
Pick your poison. I'd prefer to pick up another Moon or two, personally, or Manifest Darkness, and I think veekie's plan is more likely to do so.
