@Sivantic you messed up your plan setup i think

Yeah, I suggest you have a notebook handy because a lot of the information isn't stated on the front page and buried in pages of discussions not to mentioned changed from how it initially was!
Either way I'm glad you liked it and leave you with an obligatory 'vote Plan Yahweh Lite!' :D
@Pandemonious Ivy What do you think of my plan now? I think it's a little more exciting while also messing with our newly discovered neighbors.:p

You're trying to start a fight so we can fear glut again.

I like it!

Finally back home and on the computer so can reply to some of the concerns.
[X] Plan Towards getting a body again

Accidental orgies and general madness. Yep, this is Amber Age.
We have a chance for further madness, and you know what is even better? It would be harmless to us! Now the people in that one village over there though:whistle:

Mainly for the Scrying. I'm curious about that Village.
Well, why not Plan Yahweh Lite? I specifically Scry the area in search of the Village
Tier is what i meant; I vaguely remember a discussion about ordering our people to decorate our shrines ending with PoM saying that without special materials or a much more artistic/craft inclined populace it wouldn't do much anytime soon.
Well I removed that from my plan and still have Improve the Shrine. That should count as decorating. It's also another action centered around Shrine and may help raise the chance of Shrine 3! What do you say?;)

[X] Plan Yahweh Lite

I was sold by the Human Experimentation. We're performing Human Experimentation, right?
If you mean introduce psychosomatic drugs via the moon to an unsuspecting village in the interest of SCIENCE...then YES!

But more seriously we do need to know what it does in a way that doesn't further reduce our own population. As is veekie's plan risks unleashing Moon of Wrath on our own people and may force Saiga to break it off and attack us...:(

Instead we can do it away from our own people AND get to watch from a safe distance! Like professionals ( ̄^ ̄)

Yes we are. All the plans do.

Blind spot for him apparently. I don't think he can recognize malice in that(which is good, since this is an accident).

Also, I had the impression that Weirdings don't usually result in so much powerful effects either, we just critted on it hard. Normally it's closer to "+1 Astrology for you" than "+1 Orgy for the whole village". You need to roll a crit of some sort to trigger a Weirding at all, then succeed on the Weirding roll, THEN roll really high on the Weirding roll to produce a major result.

As such, I'd prefer to put the Moon where we actually produce enough rolls to trigger Weirdings and rely on our Blessings to ride out the effects. Astrology blessings and Inspiration may help them cope.

The probability of producing ANY weirding when doing the Moonshine on enemies is rolling a crit within 3 rolls(Moonshine, Scry x2). Otherwise it does nothing at all.

The thing is the sea is his blindspot. Moon might not be. Even at reduced effect, still don't think Moon of Wrath is something we should risk on our own populace, especially at negative Pop Mod.

@Raising Kittens There is so little time left. Could I convince you to vote Plan Yahweh Lite? We do almost the same thing including Improving the Shrine. We even have a chance to find a shiny (Expand the Painted Stars (T1): A map of stars will be painted upon the skins inside a single shrine, granting ???)! I am still open to changes.

Naw, Gaerig is his blindspot. The reason is because @Powerofmind already said, the whole blindspot originated because Gaerig was formed by the people's doubts.

They will pray to Saiga and then add a footnote about Gaerig sparing them or giving up her bounty in his own prayers. They are literally praying to Gaerig whenever they pray to Saiga.
Thus, to Saiga, barring specific and clear hostile action towards him, he's not capable of clearly distinguishing what we do from what he did.

@Sivantic, I doubt it. I don't think we have the Influence to hit an actual enemy village with Moonshine, and since we wouldn't be raiding these out of range enemies we wouldn't have anything to really trigger Weirding rolls, or benefit from the base Moonshine effects.

Two, I'd want our first Shrine Extension to be at our village, instead of Saiga's.

Three, on mobile at work, waiting for truck to show up...

@Higure, thanks for the vote and welcome to the quest! I'm just sorry that I didn't post my vote until after most people had voted and discussion had died down, with only a handful of hours 'till the vote closes, but such is life.

One of these days, I'll get a vote in early! It can theoretically happen!

I'd rather not put our wonder extension in Saiga's village. Hell, i wish we could build a shrine on our holy place so we could build it there! if we weren't (to my understanding) locking out the other 2 options, i'd be pushing for the fishing pools, since passive pop growth is incredibly nice for us as a fear spirit.

...Also, i just realized something. @veekie we have 116 DE now, not 113, you can/should add 3 more blessing DE to your plan.

Edit: Also, can i just say, as a CS major, fuck computers. seriously, how the hell did my python install get so fucked up??? All i wanted to dowas write a script that will produce excel charts like i made manually before (and fucked up, i might add X-) )

Guys, I just realized how we can get giant avatar.

We need to fuck a basking shark.

Or a whale, buts it's a mammal and thus inferior to the shark in every way.

Then what about the other ones?

-[] Expand a Pool of Endless Fish (T1): Grants free growth based on Shrine Tier per turn.
-[] Expand Sacrificial Bowls (T1): Grants a small amount of DE/turn based on total Shrine Tier.
These are the other two options that we can place. I'm also curious as where you got the Wonder idea from? Nothing states that we can only have one. In fact, Powerofmind stated that we could remove it from one site and move it to another, only that we can't have two working at the same time.

[] Moonlight* - The moon shines bright this night, revealing things that hide in the dark. Can cause Weird, also empowers a number of relevant actions (Astrology, Perform (Trickery), Water-element Influence Actions, etc.). Costs: 15 DE
-[] Over an enemy's territory.

Those are the two other options we can choose to unlock--once we pick one, we can only use that one*. And PoM specifically referred to those "one site only" extensions as wonders. I'd forgotten we could move it, admittedly, but thats still a waste of time and DE. I am also curious about the "enemy territory" option...especially since usually that involves a surcharge...

*Technically, since we're at Fear 4, we get to pick a T2 option afterwards, but we only get one of the three T1's...and i'm not sure if theres a way to undo that once we make our pick...

Well:
-[] Expand a Pool of Endless Fish (T1): Grants free growth based on Shrine Tier per turn.

This one looks like it's a general improvement. Every shrine gets a fishpond for proto fish farms, which gives a steady food supply.
If we wanted to strengthen fish associations.

-[] Expand Sacrificial Bowls (T1): Grants a small amount of DE/turn based on total Shrine Tier.

This one looks like it's a general improvement. A specific sacrificial alter in every shrine so that people can sacrifice to us more easily based on shrine quality.

-[] Expand the Painted Stars (T1): A map of stars will be painted upon the skins inside a single shrine, granting ???.

This is a Wonder. We create a unique upgrade to one specific shrine, granting unspecified benefits. Star maps are non-trivial to create and to expand, so it being a Wonder is a given until Writing is discovered(Writing is gated behind Painting, Weaving or Carving depending on the material used)

Then why would he include this in the actions we can perform?

Potential relic from when Saiga's village was an enemy village? I don't know, I just know that we have no known 'enemy' targets within range.

Remember, our Influence currently covers a half-mile radius around our Shrines and Holy Place. We only know of our village and Saiga's village within that region.

He did go through the trouble of crossing out every single little thing and alter the text to show that our actions have changed. By itself implies that Gaerig can strike outside her influence.

Also untrue
So taking a healer spirit of obsidian:
-High Shrine and low Faith means he has this fancy ass surgery in his main shrine, which can be used to healing rituals and the like. Obsidian blades, purifying braziers, the works. But only a few priests trained to use the stuff.
-High Faith and low Shrine means he basically has a clinic attached to every shrine. Pretty sparse, but the priest knows some herbcraft.
-High Faith and high Shrine means a lot of civilization resources directed towards healthcare, fancy ass clinics, and a big hospital at the main shrine.

Meanwhile Influence determines just how many branches hospital god has.
Is that right?
Assuming I swap the third (the maximum level of the shrines), it would be like this, using the example of the Ambrosia Pool from original AA:
Focus stat high - The one shrine that can build the Ambrosia Pool gets more passive income/blessing power.
Influence stat high - You aren't limited to just having the Ambrosia Pool (which would be a Wonder-style upgrade, you could only have the one across all of your shrines).
Shrine stat high - You get to unlock higher-tier and additional shrine extensions (lets you get the ambrosia pool in one shrine, the legend pyre in another, the auto-zombie graveyard in a third, etc.)

So High Shrine/low Focus (assuming 3-4 shrines) reads more like a number of small clinics, each one dealing with a particular kind of problem, or wonder route, a smaller number of slightly specialized clinics.
High Focus/low shrine (assuming 3-4 shrines) reads like one advanced, specialized practice in multiple locations, or if you go wonders, a Mayo Clinic super-location and little else
High of both, assuming a couple shrines, is like having the premier location for X, Y, and Z in a few different shrines, as well as excellent general hospital services everywhere else.

Building one does not lock out the others.

He did go through the trouble of crossing out every single little thing and alter the text to show that our actions have changed. By itself implies that Gaerig can strike outside her influence.

Point, and we have previously. My question now is, where is the DE surcharge for the act? And where is the enemy we're supposed to be hitting?

Even 'just' the other side of the icy shore should impose a hefty surcharge, as we don't actually know where our target is, just that it exists.

And yes, that is the purpose of your scry; that doesn't alter the costs the extra range should impose, nor does it change the missing information of 'which enemy' or 'what enemy'.
