Now now peeps. Different people enjoy different elements of quests and stories in general. Some like the sort of never-say-die underdog that shounen manga sell themselves on, and some prefer civ management. Some just like a good old fashioned superman main character that fucks up everything, and some prefer 'adventure-esque' personal level play. This is a quest that caters to a lot of different mindsets in a lot of different ways. Everybody's entitled to their own means of squeezing every last drop of fun out of a quest.

Perform(sing) would be one aspect of Whales away and with (hopefully) Shrine 3 get to keep both Octopus and Whale to make monsters with~

You know, QM's plan brings up good points that could be incorporated into existing plans.

I have a problem with plans as they are currently.

There is no Whip Waves reserved to appropriately punish those who fail to serve at our shrines or hammer into any invaders.

Now, I know this is because ya'll want to despise Waves, and I happen to agree with the reasoning, it's just that if we don't punish those who don't serve -

I suddenly lack pressing issues. Will go over plans again in a bit.

Establishing a cycle of traits to despise seems/feels more likely to pick up Inscrutable One, which I really do want. It's really, really good. No idea how to discount it, though.

Capricious One increased the cost of Stargazer by 3 (Former price was 7, now it's at 10 - base 8). Divine Upgrades be expensive, yo. Maybe try for AA - Stars before getting Stargazer, then cycle it out after we get Stargazer if we don't like it? Capricious One seems to have been discounted by Minor Spirit of Mischief. The Omen Reading Divine Upgrade is probably gated by Omen Reading 5, much like Stargazer was gated by Astrology 5.
 
Possible...though pulling a fast one on an Omen Reader would be tricky

Could we give him something over several turns? That would increase the chances of his omen reading saying that good things will happen because of the deal.

I think one update said that Saitev used to be more active as well, so we can't be sure he if he even likes the Crone.
