Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
[X] To travel as a group for the initial scouting. This would slow them down, but allow her to get a better feel for her team and a more comprehensive feel for the region before taking care of individual issues.

Forgot to vote after the moratorium. Here goes.

If we are going to be starting to lead troops and having leadership roles, should we start devoting more time to training our war skill? I feel like raising it higher shouldn't take to much dedication, since it is so low.

We definitely should train war.
We are a baron, we will, eventually, not only lead troops, but have troops of our own, knowing how to lead should be among our skillset.

Nah, unless it's a free action training leadership just isn't worth the time. Doesn't mistake this event's little game-like exercise for our true goal. Seriously, we have the Inner Sect's Rank #2 as our baby sitter, we're not at risk of death or worse.

Our goals are still 1) personal power for Shenhua's rank #525+ mission, 2) team based power for the intra-sect tournament. And i think it's pretty clear that in that team tournament Ling Qi is not going to be leading.

We definitely should train war.

Key word: eventually. When the skill becomes needed, then we can train in it.
The current goals are hard enough that we can't afford to waste AP on unneeded skills.
Specially after having already reduced our monthly AP pool to spend time with our family.

That's the kind of talk that leads to us never getting it and then finding ourselves cornered when we need it.

This is your friendly reminder that WAR is a skill, and doesn't need AP to train. Beast Kings' Savage Dirge, an art we're quite looking forward to, has a WAR keyword already attached, which will greatly ease the speed of training, with no extra effort.

Additionally, WAR is a broad skill, and cooperating in a team fight and what to expect from opponents in a team fight in terms of "normal" strategies is also covered under its purview, which is directly relevant to the intersect team tournament.

We should at least ensure we are solidly below average at War with a D-rank, as opposed to unsure what "war" even is and what these "soldiers" do that is F-rank.

We kinda could use the skill, now.
Also, it is too late to start training skills when they are needed, we need to hav trained before, and we won't necessarily get an advance warning for what it becomes needed.
