Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

@yrsillar - really surprised about that S rank Armor - and S25 at that.

I can see him having S rank Stamina - Ducal houses each have their own advantage, and this is his - but wouldn't he need S rank Fortitude for that too?

Our stats are honestly a little disappointing if that's the case. Was the gap this large back in the tournament as well?

Also, do the Sun have any uncapped stats? Tournament SLL had only three stats at A (two of which just barely made the cutoff). If they don't, that might help explain the disparity.

Yep.

Ducals are unfair, this is known. Xuan Shi is no exception for all that he generally doesn't take front billing.

Sun might not have uncapped stats, but they do have something going on with their blood that made them so attractive to the Sunflower Goddess in the first place.

Full support of looting, love interests, and a firm blurring of the line between the two? This is a girl with a bright future as a quest protagonist.

I'd fully support a Hanyi quest. Maybe one set where after LQ sets up her feudal domain and Hanyi tries to become a Great Spirit there? Ehhhh, likely not gonna happen though.

[X] Be the Defense: Stay down here along with Zhengui and draw the guardians attention, while Xuan Shi seeks a method to disable it

That makes more sense then. Otherwise, either the gap between us and the ducals got bigger after the tournament or our stats in the tournament were comparable to current Xiulan's (as of Turn 2). If the Sun don't have an uncapped stat, SLL's unbuffed stats should currently still be no higher than high A.

Do note, that this just gives them a head start, and training stats gets harder the higher you go.

Uncapped stats just means that--in general--in their focus stats, they'll be +1 rank on what a 'Normal' overachiever will have, because they had more time to grind XP for it, you know?

In the current system, Ji Rong likely just has an obnoxious amount of "Ignores Armor" on his attacks.

In the old one, he basically did a shitton of damage that was unblockable, TRF just meant that Ling Qi had enough health for him to chew through that she won by abusing his nonexistant S. Def. first.

Ling Qi hasn't put in the time to master the pixel perfect timing needed to jump into a wall.

A rank fort(well advanced) and a lot of passive stacking/equip bonuses

Can we confirmation that the Capstone for "Slumbering Titan's Serenity" gives them the passive:

For every hour you have only spoken in passive-voiced, indisciferable Koans gain +1 to Fortitude, Stamina, and Koans stacking to a maximum of 30+the number of cultivators of the same Realm or higher you have confused in the past [Current bonus] days.

Stalling is our middle name. And I kinda want to let Zhengui out to play.

[X] Be the Offense: Use your superior mobility to to seek weakness in the guardians frame while Xuan Shi and Zhengui keep it's attention on them.

I'll admit, not sure of the bets choice here by the numbers.
However I think between LQ and her spirits, we can hold Aggro better than Xuan can with his shown abilities.
Also given his familiarity with the source material, he has an advantage in finding the problem. Whether or not he could do it faster than us is up in the air, but at least this works.

Zhen tank, Hanyi draw Aggro, LQ support and KICK.

Xuan Shi almost certainly has a taunt. It would be a waste not to with his armor.

We should be able to handle the guardian either way. The main issue is getting the maximum benefits possible. Xuan Shi believes that brute force isn't the way to go, so I think letting him disable the guardian is the best choice.

The inner Zelda fan inside me is a bit irked Ling Qi went and skipped a bunch of stuff in the temple. She would not be a good RPG player. I mean, she probably missed a bunch of chest already. That would drive me insane if I was there.

Also, I would bet money that Xuan Shi has used an Insight to repurpose his family's "Nap to get Swole" cultivation art to work while reading books.

Lets solve this the way the book prefers
