This is the kind of investment I believe we would have priorotised if both drugs and school options were presented at the same time.
 
Getting in on the ground floor and seen as a leader before others follow could make the investment have an outsized impact in terms of influence we gain with the school. They're not going to sell out or risk their reputation but a donor that primes the pump and brings other donors is someone to work with. The sort that would receive honest and favorable descriptions during backchannel discussions.

100 GS would be very irresponsible, heck even 50's pushing it but I think in this case it's worth it as it'll show that we fully believe in and back Renxiang on this issue. Wave the flag and whatnot

The rich guys probably have formation robots to play life sized go with. It's a pain to bring out of storage whenever your grandpa wants to play a game with his old friends.

Except the 'ground floor' has already been established for a while, people have been supporting this for some time now. We wouldn't be doing anything new or unusual by throwing an entirely irresponsible amount of our wealth and income at this, nor would we get like 'original founder' status from doing so either. Also, the second part about 'bringing in new donors' would almost certainly be attributed to Renxiang, not us. Cause they would be one the hypothetical future donors actually care about. Our donations would probably get just written off by them as 'going along with our liege's plans and interests' or something along those lines.
 
So, I did the math. 100 gss a year is 7 gss a month. Which sounds reasonable to me.

Especially if you consider that we can be more economical with our drug use while still getting the most optimised cultivation boost possible.
