I don't see much point in knowing Kohatu and Atamai's birth places.
Atamai belongs to a powerful species from volcanic islands. Kohatu would be similar.
There isn't much new info to gleam there.

If we want to know more about what led to Zhengui's conception, then the story of their death and imprisonment is more important.

I'm picking this because I think it'll provide info on the darker side of the argent sect, which is something we haven't actually seen yet and will most likely be relevant to war.

But the other option does just sound better for Zhengui.

I wonder if Hui shenanigans is involved in this? Timeline a bit mixed up and I can't place it clearly anymore, but is most likely the 100 years that was used in RR and audiobook instead of the 50 that was used before.

Also I will repeat, really want this to be the arc where Qi can finally grab this uncomfortable thought and drag it out into the light. Meeting his bio-mom doesn't mean he doesn't know who his real mother is.
