I don't think they can - the way he's behaving suggests he has a Narrative keyworded insight as one of his first insights. Its as deep in as Argent Mirror is to us.

The towers are a normal kind of weird, but the hut is weirdly normal. Concerning.

I find Xuan Shi's narrative ideas kind of boring honestly.
 
So the Thunder Storm is Perkunas, the Blizzard is Freyja, the Tower is the Crowfather, and the Hut is the Iron-Toothed Crone? I'd normally nope right out of sending a group of curious children into the equivalent of Baba Yaga's Hut with the purposeful context of a fairytale, though the mechanical description doesn't give any indication of it being more dangerous.

Hmm, does witnessing what can be seen from the ridgeline after paying respects to the Crowfather's Tower mean that we'd also be playing audience to Perkunas and Freyja's bout? Because I've been wanting to see Ling Qi interact with Freyja's concepts and imagery ever since we first passed up on the chance all the way back in the Ice Ladies shrine.
