I feel like the points being made about Lao Keung being more suitable for the initial "roughing it" setup phase are pretty good. Also, added bonus of his whole situation being unusual already within the Bai; some Ling Qi Adventures™ might be just what is needed to add some Ling Qi-style crazy into someone who might later become a poster boy of Suzhen's Bai culture revamp initiative.
