[X] Sixiang was her muse and her friend. Ling Qi was tired of being ignored. She would get Sixiang's attention and help.

Human perceptive would probably be the 'best' normally, and the one that a noble is expected to go for. Yu nuan apparently doesn't have a spirit, while she doesn't have the noble background she does look very 'human' in her outlook, so we can expect something very mortal-centric and rage against the machine from her.

Ling Qi though...I like her being fey. Sixiang would be more optimist and more herself, I think, than Zeqing, which would tend to dominate Ling qi's insights through sheer presence. So Sixiang it is.

Sixiang has a problem about feeling frustrated because she wasnt able to help much during the tournament duels and during the moon dream. So this is the perfect opportunity to give her some self esteem back

Seeing the edit

[X] She could use a more human perspective. Even if her friends and family were not musically talented, they could give her feedback and advice.

Yeah, this is a good point. Thinking about the theme and message of the composition Ling Qi will produce and how it will play off against what Yu Nuan does is probably important.

Also from a shonen battle perspective our song will be a philosophical argument. Hence, to a degree, this could maybe be considered a character development exercise to some degree.

(or maybe I'm just taking this too far)

A work with si would probably end up expressing a lighter side of Qi than composing with zeqing, something that we haven't really explored as much as cold winter sadness music. It also gives us a chance to talk with Si that's not explicitly about the memory trial since Si doesn't seem ready or willing go discuss that.

Also not really as interested in the other people vote since most of our music is either moon related and winter related and I want to explore the moon side of it more. And Si and zeqing have the most experience/insight regarding this field.
