The Smallest of Dragons, The Loudest of Roars (An ASOIAF Valyrian Adventure Quest)

Yeah, this is a very valid point, though it would not personally dissuade me. I doubt the thread would like to do that even without those concerns anyway, it is statistically unlikely. Glad to hear you'd be willing to write that, I understand that it could be strange to if you're not into that, so it would have been fine to not do it anyway.

You have my support in this at least.

We just have to become powerful and established enough that it counts as eccentric, which is where the thread is going anyways.

I'm personally not interested in our Character having a homosexual Relationship. Not because I think that's a bad thing, far from it, I just don't believe it fits with his Character and upbringing. Also, we need our Line to continue.

Fair enough, but what do you think makes it not fit his character and upbringing? We don't really know much about it and our character hasn't had much time to make his personality "shine through" beyond the character description since he hasn't existed for too long. As for our line, that is a valid point, but depends on the definition of "family line" you'd be going for, adoption is unpopular but does exist, polygamy is the standard in Valyria as well, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to have a son anyway. There are of course the let's kill the gays faction in the Senate, so if you don't want to deal with that it is something to be considered.
Rhaerya is best girl.
I wholeheartedly agree.

@Magoose Question: How do Valyrian's view Polyamorous relationships?
They encourage it actually. Mostly among family, but men are encouraged to take multiple women as brides to increase their bloodline and so they can have more children to marry each other to keep the bloodline pure.
In Valyria, that stands for one thing and one thing only. Children from you and your wives or concubines.

Anything else is not considered part of the family line. though having a shit load of basterds always helps with the whole... keeping the line pure.
They're down with it. I think up to three Wives are possible.
Three wives and a venerable Harem of women if possible.

They really want to have a lot of dragonlord kids... so they don't care if you take concubines. And you can take a lot of concubines.

That too. We have enough Enemies already. Also, for Character and upbringing, that's just my personal Interpretation of him so far. I could be wrong of course.

Huh, I wildly misunderstood what the egg-napping attempt is. The egg napping attempt was an attempt that got foiled by the senate. But an attempt that can be repeated, so skipping the pettition this turn could, theoretically, not hurt us.

Eh, a personal interpretation is super subjective so fair enough. He is shy, that we know, so we should keep it in mind if we decide to pursue anyone. Hopefully we'll get him to be more assertive eventually, though that will probably take a while and a lot of work.

HOWEVER, keep in mind that polyamorous Relationships are complicated and messy even in the best of Times.

This is true because with more people in a relationship the more likely there is going to be conflict, but if you are in that relationship with really good friends or people that you trust and know a lot about I can see it not being too much of a problem.

Introvert. That's the personality type of the PC so far. Their only friends were family and one other person. Introverts in a society that frowns on same gender relationships, are unlikely to rock the boat without some kind of reasurrance.

You'd be surprised tbh, I grew up in a violent society that frowned upon it very much and always was very shy and introverted, I still managed to come out. Was the second hardest decision of my life, but I somehow managed. Sometimes we can surprise ourselves in overcoming these obstacles. Though if you still don't want to pursue this kind of relationship you don't need to ofc, whether because you don't think it fits the character, think it would make things more difficult or just plain don't want to. I just brought this up because if I was the character, I wouldn't pursue her because of my own personal reasons.

As much as I believe I can handle that and if it happens, it happens...

I will say this.

I'm not pushing one way or another... It's up to you guys.

Because I hate railroading... I legitimately get furious when people assume I railroad.

--[X]Bellerophon Armory, A small but Very high quality forge in the Capital of Valaryia your father managed to acquire them in the last year or so of his reign. Known for their high quality Arms and Armor the real reason your father bought bought them up was their ability to work and forge Valaryian steel. With how rare it is for a forge master with the knowhow and skill to craft this mystical metal to take on apprentices to teach and pass on this skill it is even rarer still for those self same apprentices to strike out on their own and start up a new forge instead of taking over their masters forge when they pass.
-[X]Dragon Eggs: You need to see the Dragon eggs… to find out if any were ready to hatch.
