@Durin Great update! I have quite a few questions if you don't mind.

1. How many more casualties should we expect as a result of Avernite wildlife being more deadly due to the ritual?
2. How has the ritual affected Bloom Bees and their food production? Has their bonus to food production risen from 20% to 25% or 30%, perhaps?
3. How has the ritual impacted the potency of runes, reagents, and different foci? How much more powerful are they?
4. Now that the ritual has happened, and we know how effective it was, how much have warp travel speeds increased for us and Chaos?
5. Should we expect Abaddon to prioritise dealing with the Void Dragon above dealing with Avernus, given that it's an existential threat to the entire galaxy? Or is he so annoyed, or will he have enough forces to spare after consolidating, that he might focus on Avernus anyway?
6. Now that Ridcully has Mythological reputation with the Eldar, what is the current composition of his personal bodyguards?
7. Since the Planet Mind will be more powerful, does this mean that the rate of evolution/adaption/manipulation of life on Avernus will increase too? If so, do we have an estimate of how much?
8. How does the threat of the Black Imperium affect reform of the AdMech and AI acceptance?
9. Do we know if any of the Dragonslayers will be among the Eldar heroes who Isha can resurrect?
10. Can you tell us any more about how much the Eldar's population growth will be affected by Isha? e.g. Their population will double in the next century/two centuries etc.
1. not that many
2. not at all
3. not at all
4. not at all
5. that or kill Avernus fast to show what happens when you mess with him
6. no change
7. unknown, the answer to basicaly every question about the PM
8. not much, taking that sort of risk due to danger is considered a good way to start worship of Chaos
9. unknown
10. no
@Durin
Who is the better seer, Ridcully or Eldrad?
in almost every way Eldrad, in Ridcullys speiclies it varies

@Durin now that the Veil is weakened, are the Assassin Temples easier to find? They're going to be in that one non-Necrontyr patch of the galaxy that doesn't have a lot of Warp energies.
no, they are outside of the galaxy anyway

You know I'm curious about something @Durin given Ridculy's far greater power from the Archetype (he is on the strong side of Alpha given that he is more powerful than Ophelia who is herself described as powerful for and Alpha) if he fought the Honored Bloodthirster from Skies of Blood now would he be able to overcome its blessings and use Psychic powers against it?

So would Ynead. All warp beings are equally empowered by the weakening of the Veil, some Chaos Gods also got personal buffs, but not Nurgle.
he could not directly effect an anti warp honroued Bloodthirster with psychic powers. Honorued are A+ power legue

Well this is pretty worrying. This moves Alpha Psykers basically to the level of power that would previously be expected of Alpha+ psykers. Previously the baseline powerlevel for a new Alpha+ psyker was exactly 7x that of a new Alpha psyker.

I'm unsure we can deal with all the rogue Alphas we get causing Alpha+ level damage. It's a good thing we were building up new defenses though.

The terrifying part is that Alpha+ psykers were probably increased by an even greater % and we already struggled to keep them from taking out entire Hives.

I do wonder how this interacts with Ridicully though given he started as a Delta but his Archetype has pushed him up to strong Alpha level.

I know some are ascribing the power increase here to the ritual benefit, but it's in line with how much the multiplier was increasing for previous steps, at least when you consider this is two steps at once.

The extra re-roll will really help keep our characters alive, in addition to succeeding on our projects. The +35 to project rerolls will be hugely useful as well.

It's interesting that as you get over the halfway in an archetype you define it more and it defines you less, so I would have expected the diplomacy malus to start to decline. Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case.
That bonus vs Nurgle is going to come in handy real soon I think. I wonder whether it will apply to scrying Nurgle given we probably want all the info we can get on the coming attack.

That diplomacy bonus with the Eldar is so large we might want to make use of it at some point.

Him now being a grandmaster healer is very interesting. With that, he now meets all of the requirements originally listed for a psyker being able to de-age other people.

I don't understand what 'fateweaving' would apply to. Would that apply to reroll bonuses? Also super weird that he's now at 60 control pre equipment without transcending.

Honestly Isha transcending is almost certainly better for the galaxy than Ridicully doing so. I didn't even previously think of her transcending because I remembered warp entities have a major malus to it. That really takes the sting out of Ridicully failing.

Do we have any idea what her transcendence trait does? Aren't they usually basically equivalent to a minor god worth of power by themselves?

@Durin
1. Is Ridicully benefiting from the psyker boost as his original Delta level would, or his new Alpha level?
2. Does the trait chance boost from archetypes affect gaining transcendence?
3. Can Ridicully now de-age our other top characters? He meets all of the original criterion for that now.
4. What does +25 to fateweaving rolls cover?
1, his new slighyl below Alpha level
2. no
3. no
4. most attempts to use divination to boost others

hmm...I'm not so sure about this, we should check with durin
@Durin How common is healing powers of the level of Ridcully's Isha-granted healing, in particular among the eldar?

this is true so I suppose scratch that reason. Still got 4 other reasons to have rids spend some time with Isha/COH (and maybe tell him he can be honest/foward about why/how we/rotbart is actively pushing this, should probably dodge that potential landmine because WE don't have the diplo bonus).
master on the path of the healer
about to become a lot more common as the preisthood of Isha gets revitalised
@Durin can we pay Isha/EoA to make some of our Heroes proof against Blink Spider venoms? I'd pay good Favours to get Tranth and Telepathica Heads immunized.
no

@Durin:

1) Are the Assassins fleeing the galaxy or something? I thought that the Temples were hiding in between the stars, not outright outside the galaxy.

2) Couldn't Isha do to our Heroes what she did to Ridcully? He's immune to Blink Spiders. Or is that a special blessing that takes too much out of her?
No they put it outside because it is the best place to hide. It is also why we kept voting down the people that wanted to look for it. We knew it was outside the Galaxy from the very start it was never a secret.

@Durin
1. What else would Ridicully need to do to be able to reverse aging on our heroes?

If it's just training in healing I think it might well be worth the investment. Since it takes 3-4 divinations to get an Eldar minor favor which can be used to make 2 heroes biologically immortal, if we can get Ridicully able to do de-aging of our most valuable people for less time than that, it would be worth doing.

5. that or kill Avernus fast to show what happens when you mess with him
Wonder if Abbadon is aware of how crazy Avernus actually is and not considering the fact that the veil being weakened means that near everything on Avernus, especially the Alpha and Alpha Plus psykers, got boosted to an insane degree? Because assumed that he would be smart enough to avoid picking a fight with one of the dangerous planets in the galaxy while he is already dealing with T4 Orks and the Void Dragon. Not to mention that destroying Avernus is a horrible idea considering that it has a literal galactic level nuke.

Time it requires constant attention if the person being affected is not the psyker doing it. Ridcully already has way too much on his plate to waste time on something like this and favors are still valuable so using them on this is also wasteful.

@Durin Thanks for the answers!

1. One point that's been raised in discussion is that the enormous Eldar losses may lead to big changes to favour costs as their resources are stretched. Can you lay out some general rules? E.g. Favour costs increase by 50%, rounding up?

2. Just for the sake of clarity, can you say how approximately much time you mean by "short term", "mid term", and "long term"? It would help to have a better idea of the timescale you're talkint about.
E.g. Short term = 0-50 years, medium term = 51-150 years, long term = 151+ years?

I not sure he would be aware of the danger. Nurgle sure as hell will block the others from telling him and pushing him to attack. He also might be there to simply wipe out the Trust and the Human colony and not care about the rest of the planet.

I imagine he would also be interested in searching for and killing AO and the rest of Ridcully's questing party. That would put him into conflict with a very large portion of Avernus.

I am surprised that the speed of travel remains the same (to us and chaos). While they have a absurd advantage this make me really happy^^. And I do hope we pay for the eldar help with the warp drives. I mean even in defense speed is important...
...And now I remember that if we fight on defensive we can use options to program that commander ship to booster speed too. That ship is glorious bullshit^^.
edit: grammar.

practice and being willing to devote all his time to being a healer rather then a seer

Related question asked and answered in the Discord. He gets part of his bonus vs Nurgle to Research against Nurgle. We kinda need an update to the question compilations...
poor durin...this is going to require ALOT of questions to be re-answered, many of which will be exact duplicates.

maybe somebody with more willingness to waste time then is heathy could go through discord's search-function of "ridcully" and related and copy-paste some of the questions into a list. send a link to durin so that he can go through and say "no-change" to all the ones that haven't changed (probably filter for the more important ones as well) to save durin the frustration?

So guys with veil weakened and with Ridcully having more power than ever how about scrying for a way to fix the broken stc constructor? Durin said Ridcully can now do that also if we expend a major favor we can turn all our heroes biologically immortal so should we?

Nix on the constructor even we can fix it, we're in no position to survive fixing it.

As for the major that actually might be worth it.

I don't think it's worth it, a couple of Minors for perfect Juve is better (since it applies even after they die).

Plus all our heroes will either die or become transcend anyway, mooting the issue.

Doubt that Nurgle can stop the rest of the gods from telling Abby.
No but he can delay them and even the Chaos gods don't all know it is a doomsday bomb. So far only the Changer of Way has been shown to be aware of the danger. In fact every incursion by Chaos had normally tried to get to the forbidden zone. If they knew what was sealed there they wouldn't attack it.

Beginners guide to Fae Sidhe
Beginners guide to Fae Sidhe

Be'an Sidhe
One of the most famous Sidhe famed for its ability to tell when someone will die. It appeases as a hunched humanoid never showing its face to any but the ones who will die, if it has a face that anyone can comprehend since the description given is different to each person. It usually appears and screams when the death of a Hero or a King comes during demon incursion. Its wail can be heard only by those who love the person meant to die. Its power are unknown but it is rumored to have the power to capture souls by other races we have asked.

Le'an Sidhe

She is the love of my life
Juan Martin
was drowned in 2 cm of water
She is the love of my life
Jill Trevor died by a toilet seat from space hitting her
Called the beautiful one or the desired one depending on what language you use. This being appears as what someone desires the most in a lover. It was thought to be a Benign being until realizing that every lover it took died soon after. Usually the victims dying either by accident or some kind of organ failure caused by unknown means. No matter what anything that makes love to her dies soon after by some means. This being is also known for making deals with people for luck. Bringing fortune to others at the cost of its lovers.

Fear Gota
It was just a little polite fellow who asked me for some dimmies and I gave him one. He ate it and went on his way.
Farmer near Dis

When this being was first encountered it was though to be a malnourished nurgling. It appears to be a small bipedal creature that asks to be feed. If given food its thanks it them and leaves. it supposedly is always asking for food and never asks the same person twice. There is a report that it was eating demons in the last incursion. No reports of corruption or cultist were found in the districts it appeared. One conversation recorded leads us to be that it is tied to the domain of hunger and eats corruption.

Rusalka

She was crying for help when I found her
Mikel Roslo - Died from drowning
This being appears as a woman calling for help and drowning anyone that comes to help it. Only recorded a few times and near lakes or rivers It preys on Avernite's sense of community to help others to kill people. A warning should go to beware of a woman crying near a large body of water.

Winter Knight

One of the most famous stories was about a goblin that Could not be hurt by anyone associated by the Sidhe. He could bot be cut beaten, set on fire, or frozen. So the winter knight spent 2 days drowning him and keeping till he gave up what he bargained for , his chidlren. The Winter knight is a high level combated who has encahnted armor and duel wields swords. Know for being a ruthless murder and alwasy succeeding in carrying out Mab's will. The winter knight is always a mortal but recently the new Knight seems to be even more viscous than normal and has been serving for 31 years.

Summer Knight

The summer knight is know for 2 things. Being a chivalrous Knight and setting things on fire whereever he goes. He serves Titantia and while not as cruel or viscous as the Winter knight. Also rumored to Be mortal this knight has killed many suspected chaos members and has set districts on fires during incursion.

@Durin a little something I have done about the Sidhe. I based most of these after legends we have. strange enough most cultures have a legend of a crying woman who drowns people. I will try to add more and add some more Fae later in the week.

I know that chaos is a self defeating evil. But now that I think this again making peace more difficult is worse for chaos than most of the rest of the galaxy. The sane side truly tries to help each other. Chaos infight can happen even if there only two people involved following the same god... it not even needs to be blood 'god'.

But this make me curious if this make orks infight among themselves and challengers of leadership more common.

....this is true actually.

and actually, considering how self-destructive war is....in some places in the galaxy, khorne is getting worshipped LESS because of the ritual as the most "faithful" end up burning themselves out fighting, either eachother as you say, or just simply fighting somebody they woulden't have previously.

I'm sure its not going to do a whole lot, since I woulden't be surprised if Khorne can influence such people in subtle ways to make them hold back for "honor" or "tactical" reasons....(and also because its preettyy clear that durin intends this as a buff for chaos, not just a nerf to us...or well now just tzeetch and mr khorneflakes)
