I think that we should keep it at 1000 and after reaching 1500 the chapter should be broken into two chapters. This prevents us from putting all our eggs in one basket, like the Ultramarine's homeworld getting blown up by Eldar dicks or something.
IIRC it is was the primarch of the ultramarines that set the rule that chapters only have 1000 marines.
I am having a really tough time seeing an ultramarine chapter agreeing to change this

Sword Maidens and Syr
Omake – Sword Maidens and Syr

Syr Rotbart was enjoying herself in Midgard as she waited in in the front row of this decades Sword Maiden Tournament. Syr only knew what her mother had told her about the Sword Maidens of Asgard and Vanahiem. How beautiful they were, how brave they were, and how they were the most sought after women for marriage. Syr always use to think that they were stories made up about vague Warrior-Princess stories to help her go to sleep at night. But after seeing the opening March of the Sword Maidens she now knew there was some truth to it. The Sword Maidens were an impressive group despite the outdated armor and shields. They all had this air of power and confidence as they striped forward in marching columns to the city.

The women were largely blonde and blue eyed like her mother, of course with different heights, and all had very well defined muscles. Armored skirts and plate with some chain around the shoulders led up to the strong determined faces of these warrior women. Their hair was tied in braids and their eye lashes perfectly trimmed to as to give a professional look but still keeping with the more wild nature that Sword Maiden culture was known for adding to the whole 'Perfect Beauties' that the Midgard promoters talked about on the whole planet. Their gear Syr noted was finalized with Metallic helmets with Wings on said helmets that angled backwards giving the impression that they always 'fly' forward.

All in all Syr was impressed with the display thus far with the women being every bit of good looking and fearsome but what she really wanted to see was the sword style these women developed in their units. From what she gathered from the promoters, their culture demanded that their sword work show how they 'Protect thy People, Show Grace Always, and Brutality to the Enemy'. A weird way to call their style surely. An in this decade, Midgard was chosen as the site of the tournament were all Aesir and Vanir women would compete in various competitions to show their prowess as individuals and as different planetary people. It was nice to see different people from different planets compete in a physical competition without going to war to be honest. Maybe one day everyone can do something similar.

As the day went on Syr would see all kinds of competition from large free for all's, to 'Sister bouts' with teams of up to 7, climbing competitions, speech giving, escorting VIP missions where another team would attempt to take the prisoner, and of course Dueling. In fact the main event was supposed to be a duel between the best rookie Aesir and Vanir Sword Maidens who had already beaten out everyone else in their planet for the honor of competing to be the Greatest Junior Sword Maiden.

This year it was an intense tossup between two new rookie Sword Maidens named SIgrunn the Swift of the Vanir and Taldi the Rosen Maiden of the Aesir. Right now the lead up duel had finished and people were rushing to use the restrooms before the final duel. Syr waited patiently however, she was just way too glued to the whole event to go anywhere.

"Enjoying yourself General?" asked a familiar voice from her sides. Syr looked to see her uncle Freyr sitting down next to her wearing a casual business attire with a muscle bound guard sitting the seat next to him.

"I am Uncle, How did you know I was here?"

"I saw you on the way in. I can't tell you how happy I was when I heard you got your first star. Your mother would be so happy for you."

Syr would beg to differ as her Mother would have tried to send her to the Naval Academy only but she couldn't bring herself to disagree. It had been awhile since she thought of her Mother and the damn spider that killed her that day.

"Thanks uncle. I'm happy to see you too.' She replied with a smile.

"I have been feeling overwhelmed though Uncle. There's so much work involved in being a General. Plan this, be here, inspect that, and then make it back in time for a debriefing."

Uncle Freyr laughed as his bodyguard chuckled at that. They looked to each other if there was an inside joke within that.

"It's normal Syr and you shouldn't let it bother you. You'll get use to it in time like everyone else." He said with smile of his own and hand over Syrs shoulders.

Syr blushed somewhat at the act of affection being shown in public. As she was still technically in uniform and it was against the uniform code of honor for any member to show affection in public unless it was after a campaign or something.

"So who are you going for Uncle?" she said as she gently forced his arm off.

"No one in particular. I guess maybe cheer for the Vanir again this time around. Yourself?"

As the two continued to talk the bells toll struck once to excite the crowds who all stood up to cheer. It was the last fight of the Tournament it seemed as a man in a white robe made his way to the center with a microphone in his hand. All the while the bell toll hit again and again louder and louder in anticipation for the coming final duel.

"Ladies and Gentleman, We have seen our beloved Sword Maidens at their best today showing all that they have learned this last decade. As spectators we should come away with one firm fact: The Aesir and Vanir women are truly the skilled women who have continued to protect us like the times of old!"

A loud cheer from the crowd lights up the arena as cheers of Ave Imperator rumple the foundations.

"But now we must see which of these people has produced the greatest Sword Maiden of this decade. Introducing first from Vanahiem Sigrunn the Swift of the Vanir!" an with that a gate opens to the arena as a single woman with shining white armor holding a red cape on one arm and a sword on the other. Instead of the platinum beauties however that dominated the Vanir society she had Black hair with no braiding's or a helmet. Instead choosing her hair to be free and reaching past her neck. A mechanical bird sat perched on the arm holding the red cape. She walked marched forward to where the man was with strong bold steps that oozed confidence stopping only once to let her mechanical bird fly of her caped hand and flew in circles around the arena exciting the crowd.

"Points for an entrance huh Uncle?" Asked Syr genuinely impressed at the display.

"Meh. I'll give it one point today" he replied sarcastically.

The Maiden stood at the center with her sword in one hand her shield slung on her back.

"Introducing her opponent from Mighty Asgard, I call forth Taldi the Rosen Maiden!"

Another gate opened and another Sword Maiden walked forth. This one had red hair that was cut short from what Syr could see. Her armor was definitely gilded in a more 'Golden' Appearance to it. She walked stoically to the center her sword held by both hands and pointed upwards. She marched over to the center facing her opponent and the robed man in the middle but situated to the slide to allow them the space for the bout. The swords and armor were very real though and definitely not blunted like some of the others looked. Syr couldn't help but see a truly daring picture of a champion than this woman if the armor was anything to go by.

"As these two heroines stand face to face, I ask the audience to take a moment now to remember the slain men and women who fought in Midgard here years ago during the incursions of the Arch-Enemy. Of the many more who died taking Fjol IV away from the desecrating Xeno Eldar and those many more who will continue to fight to keep our people safe from the predators that plague humanity.

But most of all to acknowledge the untold numbers of warriors the Imperium sent to battle to keep our most righties race alive despite the odds. May this duel honor the fallen and carry meaning for the future of humanity and the Trust. Amen."

The silence was really breath taking to say the least for Syr. If anything she wanted to add the billions who died in Avernus over the years to that list too. In the end though her job required her to send people to the grave to keep others from not falling into said grave by fate. That was the unspoken part of a Generals Job, to coordinate the defenses of people to take as many hits and forbid an enemy the ability to get around and kill others.

"And now with our time of meditations over, we now look to the future strength of the Sword Maidens displayed today. I wish both duelists luck. Humility to the Victor and acceptance from the Defeated. Begin when ready!"

The robed man stepped back and the two warriors pointed their swords at each other.

They steadied themselves and the sound of the robed man was barely noticeable as he asked if they were ready.

The duel commenced when Taldi surged forward and brought her blade down on Sigrunn who started off with A sidestep followed by aborting a counter right which led to Taldi using her momentum to bump her opponent backwards and breaking her stance. The fight went on for hours as both Maidens attempted to circle around for a flank, charging forward for a quick flurry of parries that led to nothing, or simply staying back to throw some very conservative attacks in an attempt to probe their opponent.

The crowd cheered and chanted their favorer's name and Syr could see why. The fight was way better than the last ones in that neither fighter seemed content with staying back. Both of them wanted to end the fight as quickly as possible to minimize anything going wrong and even though, in a sportsy way, that leads to counters and loss of points, this fight had no restrictions. Or if they did the fighters didn't care they were here to prove who was the better Swordswoman. Or the 'Best' Swordswoman if the announcer had anything to say about it.

As the duel went on Syr started to shift her attention to Sigrunn who seemed to have purposely been on the defense to look for an opening. However, time was running out because Syr could also see Taldi getting closer and closer to bleeding her through that armor. An it was only a short time of that realization that Sigrunn became the initiator and used the pommel of her sword to uppercut Taldi's sword away then came down from the same direction in a chopping right to slash her torso. The Blow bit heavily onto her golden armor which dented inward from the blow.

Taldi's face grimaced as she rolled away to stop her opponent from unleashing a truly powerful flurry of blows. It was then that she held her sword above her head and roared while surging forward again with her own chopping right blade blows. It was foolish in Syrs eyes to telegraph that so much that a child would know an attack was coming. But the genius of it was in its simplicity.

The blow was dodged by Sigrunn and then a flying kick that seemed to come out of nowhere embedded into Sigrunn's exposed face as the armored shoes dug in. She was sent to the floor quickly and then in a blink of an eye Taldi separated her two swords, so that's what Svartalfheim weapons can do, an attempted to drive those into her opponents armor as the lay on her knees. Sigrunn somehow noticing this rolled away and got to her feet quickly either through willpower or maybe that kick not being hard enough stun her for long enough.

Taldi chased her and her double wielding swords seemed to slash and stab all over the place forcing Sigrunn to continuously back away. She scored small hits with her speed that noticeably changed to be much faster in a whirl wind that Syr could only see someone like Jane replicate.

Sigrunn took many more superficial hits after that which weighed her down more and more over Taldi only grew in intensity. It almost looks like the Rozen Maiden was in fact going to win this battle as Sigrunn keeps losing ground.

But looks are very deceiving.

In a display of true technique and master Sigrunn holds her ground and awaits the blows parrying two before rushing forward to Taldi's side. Her sword smashing point blank into her torso stabbing deeply and then cutting away from the side. The Golden armor gives way again and blood seeps forward. Taldi yelps in terrible pain as she goes to a knee and her twin swords stab to the ground while she holds them.

The robed man calls the match as Sigrunn sheathes her sword and says something to Taldi before standing again and walking away. Some medics come to her to see her wounds and dry up the blood before smearing some gel on her skin. The match was over and everything was so fast but Sigrunn was just that much faster. The name, Syr thought, was not just for tales and titles.

"Ladies and gentleman, I hereby call this duel to a close! In a great display of swordsmanship Sigrunn the Swift has triumphed over Taldi the Rozen Maiden!"

The crowd cheered for Sigrunn and some clapped respectfully for Taldi who by many peoples account did very well until the end there. She must have extender herself enough for Sigrunn to take the advantage with that hard stab to the guts.

Syr and Freyr cheered also and yelled encouragements for Taldi who Syr felt was so awesome for dual wielding two swords before. Something she wished she could do some day.

"Lady Sigrunn as the winner of this duel how can you express your thanks to your opponent?"

Sigrunn straightened up and seemed to regain enough of her breath to speak properly. "I just want to thank Taldi for this duel. This is without a doubt in my mind the fastest I've ever had to move to defeat an opponent like her. Her speed, strength, and technique speaks volumes of the blade work the fair Maidens of Aesir possess.

I hope one day we can duel again because it would be a shame to leave it to one lucky blow to end a match."

The stadium eats up the sportsmanship by Sigrunn. There are some words from Taldi also who still clutches at her side but is nonetheless able to speak. It's basically more about how happy she is to have fought such a powerful opponent and how she'll be working harder in the future to not let something like that happen again. An with that the trophy for the Sword Maiden of the Decade is given over to Sigrunn at the cheer and approval of the crowd.

Some days later.

Syr has finished her last conference for the day. As she walked to her room however she's somewhat surprised by her Uncle and two women who waited for her in the hall.

"HEY SYR! Come greet your Uncle and his friends." Uncle Freyr said while motioning with his thumbs to two women in familiar armor.

"Your full of surprises uncle. First the Arena and now my apartment un-announced."

"Oh well I was hoping you would take time to meet Sigrunn and Taldi from the tourney. Oh and do you have any coffee?"

Syr stopped mid walk to stare at both of them before realization of these two being who he said they were! These were the women from who threw the crowd into a frenzy and won everyone's hearts the a little less than a week ago. 'Oh my Emperor' thought Syr. Syr looked at them both who had their helmets on that obscured their more notable facial features only. They took those helmets off and their faces really were that of the two Sword Maidens from the finals!

She greeted them both passionately and they moved inside to her rented apartment. As they stepped inside the Own assigned to Syr started to come out of the apartment to the living room as they prepared coffee and biscuits for the guests. They chatted for some time about the tourney and Taldi displayed her battle scars with pride while making a passive comment that she was going to get a rematch soon anyways.

The first was Taldi whose last name was Einsworth. Her family can trace her roots back to the original founders of Midgard and it's more than likely that her family couldn't pilot the Knight Titans of their homeland. Thus forcing them to find another means to serve but eventually being pushed from their home to found Midgard. Taldi however isn't a *real* noble and is actually a common born who's family privalages come from a having an untold number of years in helping to found and defend Midgardian Hives. Her grandfather was a Chosen army officer who died in Fjol IV when taking a breech in the walls of a Dark Eldar City. She took to her family roots also and was able to join the Midgardian Line Infantry were she volunteered to patrol the toxic garbage dumps in order to safeguard against the mutants and wild animals that grew up their. Her duty allowed her the rank of Senior Master Sergeant and provided extra time for her to work with the Sword. In time she says she joined a Sword Mistress's School to become a Sword Maiden and follow an old fantasy she had of serving a warrior queen. Syr chuckled at that last bit but Taldi was insistent that this was a possibility and that Sword Maidens were always taken up by Generals, Admirals, Nobles, Kings, and other Government Officials for safety and advice. It was interesting how embedded yet informal the Sword Maiden system was really. These powerful civil servants simply took them up without any other reference other than being Sword Maidens. When Syr asked who she wanted to serve Taldi just remained vaguely admitting she just wasn't sure yet. Weird that she would act so self-conscious so soon.

Then Sigrunn carried on. Her story is more in-line with being a Noble than anything. But that's what most Vanir were really, Nobles. She said that as a young girl at 15 she found out that a cousin of her turned to Slaanesh and that she was found out by the Inquisition. Her families chaplain later explained that Nobles who are too content with their power and privilege are more inclined to falling to the Chaos God of Perversion.

This struck a chord in SIgrunn as she admits that she went to Church more and meditated on who she wanted to be. One day when she was the Security Chief at a Orbital Naval Supply Factory she decided to join the Sword Maidens. To her Sword Maidens were all beautiful but were never content with a status quo. They always trained to defend their people and remain as humble as priests without being celibate. They were in Sigrunns words 'As proper as a Noble and as a Pure as a Priest'. When asked what she wants to do also she seems to shrug and say that she can pick her charges from anyone who wanted a young Sword Maiden but was cautious. Apparently she didn't want to be a someone's pet trophy protector like some people thought a Sword Maiden was.

"So what are you two going to be doing now as Sword Maidens? Go back to work in the Guard or Factories?"

"Well Syr, Sigrunn and Taldi have completed their initial training as Sword Maidens and will now go on to be 'Adventurers' as their next rank within the Sword Maiden Hierarchy. To start they need a charge or sponsor who they'll protect as warriors and advise like the Adepta Soritas as they've stated. Now please listen to what I have to say because it's important you really think on this.

They came to me first apparently Taldi here knew that the Solar Admiral was in town but I have no need for any help as is. My security detail is highly specialized and my secretaries are doing there jobs as is. But that's when I thought of you Syr, I think you could benefit from having them around you. They can help lighten the work for you as a General and plan out your schedule. On top of that in Avernus the more protection you have the better right?"

Syr was a bit shocked and the Own behind her were openly cringing on the protection bit. They were her protection detail through and through. They've never failed her or created doubt. An she wasn't sure about giving Off-Worlders so much exposure to secret information within the Avernite Military. Just the thought of someone helping her be a General or planning her day was foreign to her. Wasn't it her job only to do those things?

"Uncle I already have the Own as my bodyguards and my Father is always a phone call away. I don't think I can sponsor them either. I'm very sorry."

"If I may add to something Lady General." Said Taldi. "I'm more than just a pretty sword maiden and so is Sigrunn. Your Uncle here says that you were a bit weighted down with responsibility as a Brigandier General. Well that's normal at your level and taking in help like me and Sigrunn isn't against the norm for Imperial Officers. Many of the more successful officers held varying and exotic members in their retinue."

She said in a clear and very diplomatic way. Her tone was particularly, well, nice to hear really. Even though it had that Midgardian firmness to it.

"On top of that we know that your true identity is Syr Rotbart, You are in all terms going to be the future ruler of Avernus. An while you may think that politics is something that off-worlders do, Then I will have to point out that man is a political animal. Your people will lobby for more resources or positions within the Government.

Not only that but during the Trust Meetings you'll need to be diplomatic in order to protect or expand your interests with bills and policies. Your father did just that with our own Governor not too long ago. In short, even though I know you have a distaste for it as well all do, you must play the game. Who better than I who helped my family negotiate marriages and contracts for house Voki?"

"Try and think of them as powerful lieutenants if you will Syr. They can be in effect people you can lean on to help get things done quicker." Freyr continued "They can help you lead and make you look like a real rockstar in front of everyone. Just as Frederick's Generals help him win wars. Or how my Captains help me crush that Ork xeno bastard Garkill over Avernus. I believe these Maidens will help you advance in your career and help with your future ambitions."

He looks to them and sort of flashes a look at them. The women looked at each other before nodding to your uncle. Syr has never seen that face before but these were off worlders afterall.

"They are older and wiser than you as Noble women. 170 and 175 respectably. While you have matured into an honest and dutiful women, I must stress that you are still growing in your Career."

"But then what do I really get out it?" Syr replied "You want me to let off-worlders into Avernus, to help me with military formations, and career advice despite the conflict of interests that may arise between Avernus and their homeworlds?

That's a liability."

"Prestige and image, Lady General." Said Sigrunn "The Sword Maidens fight against the common enemy always but our swords are devoted to nobles and commanders who make the biggest impact on the field of battle. With you as our sponsor we too shall grow strong and draw more Sword Maidens to help us which would expand our social network. Which is very important for our image as Sword Maidens and as Noble Ladies."

From there Taldi continued "More to the point our oaths are ironclad. Unlike other allies we cannot leave your side unless you order it or die. For us to backstab you or for you to fail will make us look suspicious and ineffective. Once a Sword Maiden declares a communion with a charge she must stick by it until the end. Even if that charge goes against advice, common sense, or against her people she must stick by them by the principles of loyalty. Only when that charge has fallen to chaos can a Sword Maiden choose to abandon their charge and even so that would still make them look weak to others. After all, if you let your last boss down how would others trust you?"

Syr through about it for awhile. They were excellent Swordswomen who could keep the wildlife at bay. An with so much experience she could save more of her soldiers lives on Avernus if they survived and did well. She looked to the Own who simply nodded before looking back at them.

"An what could advise me on specifically Sword Maidens?"

"I" Sigrunn started "was the security chief of an Orbital factory where I learned to not just keep our supplies safe but also in moving supplies where they needed to go. Sometimes that meant fighting off workers with sticky fingers or clerical errors but I did my job.

With me by your side you can rest assured your munitions will be ready for your troops and won't be in danger of being raided.

I can also advise you against on the All-Thing for as a Higher ranked Vanir I helped my family in keeping it's seat in that snake pit. Which means I can also help you against any Vanir Governors who wish you political harm."

"Got beef with them Sigrunn?"

"Not in particular I actually do like the ruling council. I just wish they'd allow women the right to deny a marriage she doesn't agree with, right Admiral?" she says with smile.

"I plead innocence in your games Lady Sigrunn. That said Syr, She is true to her word and is as close to apolitical as it gets for Vanir women. Something to think on."

"If I may?" started Taldi "As a true veteran of patrols against creatures I feel most confident in helping you fight in Avernus. I was known to rally and hold against ambushes or in protracted battles against Mutants in the wastelands here. It's how I why I got promoted so quickly. Think of me as a new extension of yourself. Send me out to where you think you need a motivational leader and let me handle the rest. The perfect Sword Maiden if I do so say myself. An I do actually." She gives off a goofy smile to Sigrunn who just returns a smile herself.

"So which one of us will it be Lady Syr?"

"I have to pick between one of you?"

"Well, um, normally yes."

"What happens if I pick both of you exactly?"

Stunned at that query they just look at each other. Than back to Syr.

"Well nothing and it is certainly allowed. But why not pick just the one? The best?"

"Because I like numbers and I want you to stay with me for as long as you can. As an officer, I value consistent things.

That.

An because I like double dipping to be frank." Syr said with gay smile. "I like the both of you very much and I feel that you are both very valuable as subordinates. With that, I ask that you both join me as my Sword Maidens." Syr stands and walks around the coffee table. "Will you join me?"

The Maidens look to each other and smirk before also standing and walking over to Syr. They put their helmets on the ground next to them and take a knee with their heads held up to see their charge.

"I'll take that as a yes then. From here on out you are my Sword Maiden serve with distinction."

Sigrunn and Taldi affirm with a head nod. Syr in turn walks away to get some wine glasses going noticing them still on the ground. Looking to her as if she forgot something.

"Um, You're free to stand ladies."

"…Thank you, Your Ladyship"

As the day unwind Syr agreed to work on her free time to pull some strings for the Maidens so that they can join her on the field when she returned to Avernus. Her uncle also stayed and drank with the Ladies either to get friendlier with them or rather to drink Syr's wine for free. 'Damn freeloader uncle'.

Thank you to @Reynal for helping me by proof reading my omake. The idea is that Syr takes into two Sword Maidens that can use their skilled swordsman ship to keep Syr safe, help in battles, and help her promote by substituting their life experiences as Elders. A cookie to whoever reads this omake which is 4903 words exact. Thoughts and criticisms are welcomed even though I'm extremely sensitive.

Construct: Combine Shipyards: Huge- Now that you have four Large Shipyards it will be possible to combine them to form a single Huge Shipyards. This will be rather expensive but will provide a major boost to your orbital workforce and allow you to build Battlecruisers and repair Heavy Cruisers.
@durin I have a question on this. This says we can make Battlecruisers and repair Heavy Cruisers but that's not how it's listed in the shipyard sheet here.
Helheim Void Command

  Slips time Shipyard
Monitor 1 2 Small
Miner 2 3 Small
Merchant 2 3 Small
Mass Conveyer 13 6 Huge
Escort 1 3 Small
Light Cruiser 3 5 Small
Cruiser 4 6 Large
Ancient Defence Cruiser 4 8 Large
Battle Cruiser 8 7 Large
Heavy Cruiser 16 10 Huge
Grand Cruiser 32 11 Huge
Battleship 64 15 Gargantuan
Heavy Battleship 128 19 Gargantuan
Based on that we could already build Battlecruisers with the Large yards and the Huge ones unlocks up to Grand Cruisers. I think I remember from a old post you said it takes 3/4th's the slips to repair a ship compared to making it from scratch so at 96 slips a Huge yard could fix our busted up Command Battleship but not make it or regular Battleships. Which means we can make or repair anything in our planed fleet so long as we don't totally loss a Battleship. Or has this changed since then?

@durin- what ships are currently in the pipe from Vanahiem? I know the Folkvangr is under repair, and I think we have monitors inbound, but do we have our gcs/bs's under construction too?

Rearm Helguard: Heavy- You have determined the best ways of rearming your Helguard with advanced weapons from the datacores now you need to decide which option to take. The third option is to replace all of their weapons with a mix of Neutron Lasers and other advanced weapons including plasma weapons and supply them with a significant amount of grav weaponry. This would be very expensive expensive but would make your Helguard capable of easily killing almost any foe. While incredible useful doing this option would almost drain your reserve of advanced and exotic material and the upkeep would be higher then you current income of advanced material.

Time: 4 years.

Cost: all Neutron Weapons in storage, all Plasma Weapons in storage all grav weapons in storage, 99,950,000 Thrones, 12,370,000 Material, 1,584 Promethium, 1,607,000 Advanced Material, 60 Exotic Material.
Upkeep per year: 90,060,691 Thrones, 3,624,364 Material, 792 Promethium, 881,358 Advanced Material, 324 Exotic Material

Rearm Helltroopers: Heavy- Now that you have determined the best ways to rearm your Helltroopers with the new weapons found in the datacore you should begin. There are three ways that you could go about this. The third option is to provide advanced weapons and plasma weapons as special and heavy weapons as well as the occasional exotic weapon. This would be to expensive to roll out to anything more than the Helltroopers for the moment.

Time: 6 years.

Cost:244,200,000 Thrones, 10,370,000 Material, 2,194 Promethium, 4,140,000 Advanced Material, 1,856 Exotic Material.
Upkeep per year: 24,419,944 Thrones, 1,037,195 Material, 1,647 Promethium, 207,033 Advanced Material, 38 Exotic Material.
Turn Eighty-One
Thrones Material Metal Promethium Advanced Material Exotic Material Food Relic Material
Gross Income 41,960,594,545 15,044,764,288 2,488,074,832 3,427,806,783 13,431,854 46,641 15,123 5
Current Reserves 154,139,941,857 17,402,432,095 10,293,505,646 9,631,435,359 20,699,214 36,199 77,957 5

Taking a look at the rearmament options and did some math. It has a initial cost of 5,747,000 AM and 1,916 EM to do rearm heavy for both. We then have a upkeep of 1,088,391 AM and 362 EM. Do note the Helguard has a low initial EM and high upkeep EM as we're using all the weapons we found to arm them but then have to pay to fix what gets broke or lost as time goes on. The Helltroopers on the other hand have a high initial EM cost and low upkeep as we have to make thier stuff but they don't use nearly as much grav weaponry. We have a income of 13,431,854 AM and 46,641 EM. So long as we don't take to many high AM options it's well in our means to do heavy rearmament.

Our current EM and AM incomes are mostly due to trade. @Enjou pushed for deficit trade so that we could build up a massive stockpile in case we get cut off by warpstorm or come under siege. It's not a reliable source of income.
While true it's the initial cost that's the main hurdle. The EM upkeep is small enough to be covered by what we already make. The AM upkeep is the big thing but the next C-forge can produce enought to give a net plus.

Have you multiplied the upkeep with 5 to account for the 5 years per turn?
The upkeep for actions is counted in years but our Ressource incomme is counted in turns.
I am on a handy and cant Do it right now.

[X] Plan Enjou T81

A few questions @durin

1. If we donate a % of our debt to Vanheim to the Ultramarines so the can build his fleet, what would be the maximum amount that would still be sensible (so the rest of the trust wouldn't consider us foolishly generous)?

2. Can we use Ridcully´s divination powers to check other areas in the Imperium as we are doing with Macragge?

3. How many orbital defences (defence platforms, heavy defence platforms and defence stations) would Parnell want in total (number of each type and proportion between Kumae and Avernus)?

4. The warp storms surrounding the Trust are supposed to end relatively soon, could you give us an estimation in years?

5. Syr can still take more education options?

6. Are you still looking for ideas to have more actions in the coming turns, or do you already have enough?

I would be very careful adding the debt as well as the heavy aid as heavy aid is a lot of cash and materials yearly for the next 40 years

Man I hope Syr doesn't get bullied by some Vanir officers. That's a lot of blood to wash off the walls otherwise.

I know you're joking, but that's exceedingly unlikely. Syr is the heir to one of the major powers in the Trust, and she's related to their own Governor who it seems likely isn't going to be replaced since he wasn't ousted last turn.

I think it's far more likely that they might would try to earn her affections. Avernus might not be very popular on Vanaheim right now, but a Vanir noble who marries her and gets her with child is going to get his bloodline into the line that controls Avernus, which is a major win from the standpoint of someone who is raised to think in dynastic terms. I can only hope one of them does manage to get her attention and is competent enough that we'd approve of the marriage, because we need some grandchildren dammit!
