Wait a fucking second. Did we just effectively reincarnate Sanguinius?

All things considered, I'm going to guess that the threshold for NOT having the black rage and red thirst would have been like 95+, And in return Lamenter luck probably requires you roll under a 10 or something.

Gun and Sword Combat

Funnily enough, this is just standard Assault marine loadout, So I wonder what their twist on it will be, or if they are just super good at it. Replace the bolt pistol with Something heavier?

So it looks like these guys will be anti daemon specialists. the red thirst will be an issue, but maybe a manageable one. Does it have to be a lethal amount from a living person or could we make them, like, bear helmets full of blood grown in vats or taken from doners?

Edit:
I mean...Is it mutation? Really? Are we sure of that? Maybe Human form always was mean to possess the ability of flight and the Primarch geneseed just unlocked it? Surely, Children of Sanguinius can't be mutated, can they?
Clearly the gene seed was always supposed to give longevity and wings, the other legions just all lost those

Well, despite the wings considering their extreme hatred and ironically anti mutation trait along with their daemon slayer trait the Imperials may be a lot more tolerant of them. Probably helps that they also inherited their Primarchs wings and prophecy powers.

Question, would marksman and blade master have strong synergy with gun and sword combat? Seems like it would but would like to ask before pushing for it. And if it does how big of a boost would it give?

Oh, shit. These guys can fly.

That must be especially terrifying for traitors. Not only do you have a marine chapter who not only will inflict a more violent death than normal, and considering that the Imperium has no issues wit horrible things being done to traitors, but a lot of them can fly.

We may want to get the assault equipment to increase our number of flying Space Marines for this chapter.

Assault packs might not be a good idea for these guys. They wouldn't hurt but depending on the options available we might wind up with better things to buy.

I wonder what the Blood Angels are feeling knowing that their successor chapter inherited more traits of Sanguinius than they did. (And thus appear more 'favoured' for lack of a better word)

Besides just looking like him, we must also consider if this chapter is kind, accepting of abhumans (for there were many mutant auxiliaries that the Ninth Legion employed before the stupid Imperial Creed deemed them heretical) and diplomats akin to Sanguinius?

Because the Lamenters had that in spades, and they got shafted for it.
