Either way though, this crisis is really making it clear how weak the crown is right now in terms of dragonpower, to the point that our only feasible ways for getting Daemon to stop squatting in our castle is to either convince him to leave or enlist Velaryon aid in order to evict him by force, which is something of a problem given that Daemon is main reason why the Velaryons couldn't just take the crown by force if they wanted to.

[X] Fly to Dragonstone. Furious. Your uncle had threatened your position and insulted you and your late brother. You are not going to take this quietly. You are going there and you are going to let your pathetic excuse for an uncle know exactly how you felt.

While I understand it might not be the most optimal choice I feel like it's in character and is interesting. On top of that as others have said if we don't go there is a chance of Otto dying and while I literally do not care about Otto at all Daemon killing him could lead directly into a war.

I think it important to note that Daemon's main motivation for the vast majority of his life is his desire for approval and recognition, especially by his brother. It's a desire he will never admit to anyone including himself (until Alys Rivers comes around). He doesn't want to rule - in canon he backs down from this stunt and gives up the Stepstones crown as soon as he can. He never even attempt to rule Runestone or Dragonstone, even when he was the heir.
I really don't think he's going to kill Rhaenyra with this stunt, regardless of the way we approach him, and I really don't see him explicitly attacking his brother at this point, even if he'll tell himself that he's more worthy than Viserys to be king.
Like, it would probably would be a bit rougher than the canon confrontation, but I feel like the reasons he folded in canon are still very much at play here (not to mention the fact that he knows very well that Mysaria is not actually pregnant so the whole thing is a shame anyways)
I agree with this even if we go there screaming and making a fuss Daemon is not going to kill, kidnap, or rape Rhenyra like some voters think, because deep down he loves Viserys, and even if our relationship is strained he also loves Rheanyra... BUT I don´t see the point of going furiously, for what we have seen in the series the best way to get under Daemon's skin is actually to keep calm and let him screw things up for himself...

I'm surprised sit at home and do nothing has so much of a following. I guess a lot of people are hoping otto gets incinerated.

I suppose while not going wouldn't exactly crown us in glory, there's benefit in not showing ourselves to be impulsive if we want that small council seat.

We are fourteen years old.

A lad of four and ten can be a soldier! Why not a dragon? What are you, some kind of craven???

Girlboss time, any dissenting opinions must preface their post with "I am a craven"

[X] Fly to Dragonstone. Calm. You just want Baelon's egg back and to put an end to this nonsense. You had been insulted, but you weren't going to indulge Daemon by letting him see you upset.

[X] Stay in the Red Keep. There is no need for you to take part in Daemon's farce

Changing my vote because staying is by far the least interesting option

In this case I don't really have an opinion that I'm confident voting, but here's how I'm seeing it:
- Stay in the Red Keep: The safest option, but also one that might lead to Daemon being more Daemon, he doesn't like Otto and sending this man, even with a detachment, I don't think that'll go over well for him. Which... depending on how we're feeling about the man might not be the worst thing.
- Fly to dragonstone, calm. Dangerous, yes, but it fits with our values of actually helping the realm, might lead to Otto not getting Daemon'd, but our relationship in this setting is different and he views himself very much as the True Heir and we would need to not just show up in front of him. However, this is the option that might not end in bloodshed.
- Fly to dragonstone, furious. Yeah, let's avoid doing that, shall we?

I do find the idea that Staying in the Keep is the safest option to be odd, Safest for Rhaenyra, sure.

I will say I don't think any option is boring. This is a vote I've been eager to get to.

That just makes me wish that "Fly to Dragonstone. Calm" wins... If the Wait and See option is going to be that interesting, then the whole standoff between Daemon and Otto is going to end up as an absolute clusterfuck...
Safest short term, is probably the better way to put it.
Not the safest for Otto, but it depends on how little we care for his safety.
Well, since Otto is the father of our best/only friend and future girlfriend, we should worry about his safety...

And you know Ser Harrold Westerling is part of Otto's taskforce, I would prefer for him to survive
