The Chaos Founding

[] Plan: Dark Kingdom
-[ ] The Pact of Retreat: Every day, countless Guardsmen fall to Chaos the galaxy over. Through this pact, binding them to cover the retreat of these new followers of the Ruinous Powers from their former allies, the Warband shall 'rescue' and recruit enough of these Guardsmen to form truly immense armies of Traitor Guard.
-[ ] Iurrran: A planet whose inhabitants have become pale and green eyed, the people of Iurran spend their time in a vast, dark fores,t in which they war with each other utilizing dark rituals and tamed monsters. They are actually extremely genetically stable for a human population in the Eye of Terror, and are very compatible with Space Marine Gene-seed.

I support this plan because it is a good army-raising plan.

It helps that this warband is disciplined, focuses on killing the command AND maintains their gear and it is in a better situation than other chaos space marines. I will add, that if we add corruption resistance dreadnought and other stuff, we should possibly get a military-focused kingdom of the warband.

-[ ] Cast them to the Wind: When, and if, they find a planet to lord over it will be by conquest. No planet will shape them, but there is a good chance that one day they, more than any other Chaos Warband, shall shape a planet.

I prefer this version of the Dark Kingdom, since whatever world they conquer gets even bigger bonuses and I like the element of chance with this one.

These seem to be the same plan

[]For da overlord(s)!
-[ ] The Gobmiras: A strange, artificially created type of demonic creature. The Gobmira's are small, multi-colored, roughly humanoid figures made up of different parts from many different animals. Different colored Gobmira have different traits, with the ones that match up to the primary color of one of the four major Chaos Gods having some sort of boost related to that God, and a near perfect resistance to the abilities granted by said deity. For a multitude of reasons they don't work with many other Chaos factions, but they are willing to change that and bring arms to bear if a deal is struck.
[ ] Retera: A strange planet among those claimed by Chaos, Retera is unusual in that it actually has a functional society, based around a caste system enforced by dark mystic pacts. The people of this planet are divided into several 'Castes', each with a different purpose and color associated with it. The Nurgle affiliated Green cast3 act as stewards of nature, the Red Khorne Caste as arena fighters, Blue, associated with Tzeentch, act as intellectuals, Purple, associated with Slaanesh, act as artists, Brown act as humble laborers, Black, associated with the Forge of Souls, handle most technology, Yellow are heavily augmented and act as the regular military, and finally the White, who seem to have had all traces of personality forcibly sucked from their body, act as the rulers of the world.

Both the Gobmiras and the people of Retera have a color coded multi-god society, so why not put them together

So what happens if they get no planet and no pact?

With they just double down on their traits from Sons of Horus and Chaos Mercenaries?

This is correct a lot of metaphysical stuff goes into the gene-seed so it's not a matter of simple biological capability.
Personally, I don't see logic here, unless you want to tell me that Imperium is right to treat Abhumans as second or third class citizens and slaves, because they aren't in fact Humans on metaphysical level.

If Gene-seed is more supernatural in nature rather than just standard fictional pseudo-science, then making Abhumans and Mutants into Astartes should be easier not harder and perfectly possible, if biological capability doesn't matter but spiritual nature of the subject, then a Abhuman should be perfectly able to become Astartes, being spiritually Human despite the biological difference from baseline Humanity. For example, Psykers are also classified as Mutants yet Psyker Astartes exists, so do Blank Astartes, and there's definitely more argument for those to be metaphysically different from most Humans.

If Gene-Seed was just in-universe super science, then it rejecting Abhumans would make sense because it wasn't designed for them in mind, if it is mostly supernatural, then for it to reject Abhumans, they (Abhumans) have to spiritually and objectively not qualify as Humanity, which sounds extremely iffy to me personally.

My understanding is that it is both. My understanding is that the "gene-seed" is actually a vat grown organism that is taken apart one organ at a time (allowing the plausibility of rejection) and also resonates with a psychic imprint in the warp.

The only warp shenanigans going on with gene-seed is that all astartes are comceptually "heroes" and there is some warp finagling to make the additional organs function as necessary but the only reason abhumans dont get implanted with gene-seed is that none of the Primarchs are genetically abhuman where on the other hand every Primarch is at minimum a latent psyker. Also Blanks appear randomly and next to nothing is understood about there genetics so blank space marines only appear twice? I believe and aren't properly described so who knows what their circumstances are. Also the whole conceptual heroism thing is what allows the space marimes to perform their heroic last stands/sacrifices and allows individual astartes to become uniquely capable/powerful. For example an astartes that constantly survives horrible wounds would be more resilient than a newbie scout marine despite technically being genetically similar.

Ya know what.

Good point.

I'm retconning that part of rejection out.... unless you prefer to say the spiritual aspect of the rejection was because Emps was a jerk in which case go ahead.
~Auwahh~ does that mean abhuman space marines are acceptable?

ogryn astatres that have enhanced cognitive ability plus having their strength speed and dexterity improved . . . .big 13 ft tall Astartes, 5ft taller than puny space marines
~woahh~ 13ft tall martial arts master ogryn astartes with 10000+ years of combat experience, go beat out of some titans with your bare hands

I can make my R-Corp plan have ogryn aspirants and have the chunky unga bunga marines

Btw, this fic is separate to the Long Founding Quest, right?

Because I'm trying to confirm things. That, and well, the galaxy is a big place.

Already talked about that. It is seperate so that it won't create a situation where people will create chapters/warbands that counterweight each other quests.

Additionally, from what I heard, Sangunius gene-seed allows mutants to enter and it actually helps them.

They are undivided and they are slightly like Iron Warriors where they will use Chaos but not as Iron Warriors who actually would fucking ignore it unless it was a problem.
Fun fact… I actually got the idea of poeple useing a color coded cast system in part from watching an 'advanced sci-fi civs to stupid to exist' video on the maze runner franchise of all thing.

Because while the civ itself was stupid it did interest me quit a bit.
