The Chaos Founding

Headhunters: The Warriors of this Warband are adept at attacking and killing enemy commanders, disorganizing the rest of their forces.
Improved Equipment: This warband has far better maintained equipment than is the average for a group of Chaos Space Marines.
Okay, very good stuff.
[ ] The Pact of Retreat: Every day, countless Guardsmen fall to Chaos the galaxy over. Through this pact, binding them to cover the retreat of these new followers of the Ruinous Powers from their former allies, the Warband shall 'rescue' and recruit enough of these Guardsmen to form truly immense armies of Traitor Guard.
I am very much towards this one because it gives us a lot of possible manpower for the warband.
[ ] Retera: A strange planet among those claimed by Chaos, Retera is unusual in that it actually has a functional society, based around a caste system enforced by dark mystic pacts. The people of this planet are divided into several 'Castes', each with a different purpose and color associated with it. The Nurgle affiliated Green cast3 act as stewards of nature, the Red Khorne Caste as arena fighters, Blue, associated with Tzeentch, act as intellectuals, Purple, associated with Slaanesh, act as artists, Brown act as humble laborers, Black, associated with the Forge of Souls, handle most technology, Yellow are heavily augmented and act as the regular military, and finally the White, who seem to have had all traces of personality forcibly sucked from their body, act as the rulers of the world.
That both sounds like Winds of Magic from Warhammer Fantasy AND Ork coloration thingy.
[ ] Iurrran: A planet whose inhabitants have become pale and green eyed, the people of Iurran spend their time in a vast, dark fores,t in which they war with each other utilizing dark rituals and tamed monsters. They are actually extremely genetically stable for a human population in the Eye of Terror, and are very compatible with Space Marine Gene-seed.
Okay, that would be a gigantic fucking boon for our warband because it makes sure Chaos Astartes have good numbers.

Oh man, some of these options are real neat.
In terms of Contracts, Quarreling Ones, Spawnherder and Pact of Retreat are my personal faves -- offers good options for the main fodder whether it be through lesser daemons, chaospawns or entire Chaos guard regiments.

On the other hand, have no concrete preference through their preferred World; am perfectly fine with casting them to the winds to prove themselves.

Out of curiosity Frog, is the ones who requested this commission the ones who would become the Wolves of Horus warband?

I would like Iurran as the world so they can recruit more space marines and have a bigger force to oppose Abaddon. Don't really have any preference for contracts though.

Sounds like an awesome planet, to be honest. Although there's the problem that our band won't be loyal to the Chaos Gods, and this planet has ties to all of them.
They are undivided and they are slightly like Iron Warriors where they will use Chaos but not as Iron Warriors who actually would fucking ignore it unless it was a problem.

-[ ] Cast them to the Wind: When, and if, they find a planet to lord over it will be by conquest. No planet will shape them, but there is a good chance that one day they, more than any other Chaos Warband, shall shape a planet.

This is basically an idea of evil Ultramar

[ ] Plan: Wandering Warlords
- [ ] Leave it: The warband will start without a contract. Any deals they make will be their own.

- [ ] Knuot: A world dominated by many different Chaos 'Kingdoms', the inhabitants of this world use a strange mix of modern weapons and hysterically enhanced full plate armor in their constant attempts to assert dominance over their rivals.

Basically one plan involves being wandering warlords while the other three is basically evil ultramar

[ ] The Quarreling Ones: Four Greater Daemons, each in command of large numbers of the Lesser Daemons of their great god, are in near eternal competition to prove their own force's superiority. With this contract they will occasionally send these Lesser Daemons to aid the Warband as part of their contest, gaining or losing prestige depending on the contributions of their forces to the battle.

[ ] The Lost: This Warband has established contracts with many Lesser Daemons of Chaos, and drawn them into its surface.

What's difference in "bonus/boon", that these two options offer?

I'm liking dark kingdom also Frog an odd question is Chaos Founding & Long Founding interconnected at all or no that would be annoying for you? Also really enjoying the quest and like making unique warbands and seeing wants developed very cool

I like that mercenary literally gives us contracts, which makes a total amount of sense and I fucking love it. I imagine when we do request for 4, an option will be immediately picked up for us and we will only need to get a good world for future Iron Warriors warband because I believe everyone agrees that they will be good pic. I will laugh if we get them and they will fucking get Gaze of the Eye.

[] Plan: Dark Kingdom

I really like it: actually building a somewhat stabile nation, with heaps of chaff, easy source of replacement for Marines and all the vehicles we're going to throw their way; this should result in beautiful, prosperous warband.

So far we created possibly 2 successful warbands that have a stable thing for them. I still find it hilarious how Corruptors turned out given everything. When I will do a react, I will say how that happened, it will involve retcon stuff because of how it fits.

[] Plan: Kingdom of Horus V1A

Hey Archon7 your plans are currently missing brackets before the plan names if you care about that before vote kicks off.

So I like each of these for separate reasons. The Pact of retreat I think works because its essentially an evil version of the great crusade with the Warband being supported by vast quantities of the Chaos Guardsmen. As for the other parts of the warband, I'll put below why I like each one.

[ ] Plan: Kingdom of Horus V1A
- [ ] The Pact of Retreat: Every day, countless Guardsmen fall to Chaos the galaxy over. Through this pact, binding them to cover the retreat of these new followers of the Ruinous Powers from their former allies, the Warband shall 'rescue' and recruit enough of these Guardsmen to form truly immense armies of Traitor Guard.

I like the 1A version because it basically screams evil Ultramarines with everyone being organized and in their own castes. Plus Chaos could use it as a propaganda piece as a "Hey, look Chaos isn't that bad, we can be productive too!"

[ ] Plan: Kingdom of Horus V1B
- [ ] The Pact of Retreat: Every day, countless Guardsmen fall to Chaos the galaxy over. Through this pact, binding them to cover the retreat of these new followers of the Ruinous Powers from their former allies, the Warband shall 'rescue' and recruit enough of these Guardsmen to form truly immense armies of Traitor Guard.

This one I like because it would mean a near infinite supply of genetically sturdy aspirants for the warband to use, ensuring there is not too much drift.

Im going to be honest, just like this one for the vibes. No greater reason, this one just fucks.

Dark Kingdom I like the most because it fits with what Horus wanted before he completely went mad during the later stages of Heresy where it forced Perturabo to carry the Heresy (please let's not argue about that). If we somehow get a Clone of Horus among us, I will find it hilarious.

[] Plan Making a profit from conflict & agreement alike
-[] The Quarreling Ones: Four Greater Daemons, each in command of large numbers of the Lesser Daemons of their great god, are in near eternal competition to prove their own force's superiority. With this contract they will occasionally send these Lesser Daemons to aid the Warband as part of their contest, gaining or losing prestige depending on the contributions of their forces to the battle.
-[] Yuru: One of the worlds inhabited by Elder monstrosities, the strange, mutated descendants of Eldar that somehow survived the fall without being consumed by Slannesh. Much like their kin on other worlds, they often trade in advanced xeno technology that they manage to scavenge from the planet's sands - which can release such things even if they had never been on the planet in the first place.

Dark Kingdom seems fine. In addition future Horus Clone could honestly say his famous line "I never wanted this... I never wanted to unleash my legions..."
