Those... don't exist. All jaeger pilots chosen have to have a good Drift, especially now that the world's gone to hell. Noah and Alec were just the most compatible you had.
It was a half-joke. We as the players were rather divided, so if we were all together Pilots for the Jaegar that is the quest overall...

Then that'd be one fuckin' weird Drift OS. It'd put CT IV to shame.*

*(I've decided to acronymize Crimson Typhoon and Coyote Tango as CT IV and CT I respectively, due to Mark #s)

[X]Tacit Charge. Pretend Palisade is a Goomba and do their best Mario impression on its Spine.
-[X]This means Stomp. Called shot to Spine, shifting 2 spots.

I feel like this is a dangerous option, not necessarily for us per se, but for our goal of capture. Unfortunately, we lack Strongth, and as such are pretty pants at grappling, even if this isn't a grapple-y monster. Also I would rather capture it intact; it sounds like it might have some interestingly sequenced muscle fibers in that tail, and seeing how they work on a live feed is probably more reliable than trying to piece it back together. Long story short, and minus the waffling, this is probably our best option to make Palisade our first vivisection.

Alright then! Roll me...
1d10+4 for Stomping, and 2d10 for the hit location. You will automatically shift the hit up to two spots towards location 9, the Spine.

rolling

EDIT: well bugger. Should've gotten it right the first time.
RagnorakTres threw 1 6-faced dice. Reason: Stomping Total: 5
5 5
RagnorakTres threw 1 10-faced dice. Reason: Stomping for realzies Total: 2
2 2
RagnorakTres threw 2 10-faced dice. Reason: Hit Loc Total: 19

Tacit Ronin charges, leaping into the air for the last hundred meters! The jaeger skims over Palisade's defensive lash, and slams its foot down in the middle of the monster's tail!

Palisade takes 1 Strike! Tail Armour Destroyed!

While there's little actual damage to the kaiju, the yellow carapace cracks, chunks of shell crashing to the ground to expose grey-black meat beneath!

The kaiju squeals, and spins around, surging upwards!

Reaction!
[ ] Block!
[ ] Parry!
[ ] Dodge!

Distances:
- Artillery intersects with the DP.
- Tanks 37 East of the DP (8 in front of Palisade).
- Hellhounds 50 East of the DP (5 behind Palisade).
- Palisade is 45 East of the DP.
- Tacit is 45 units East of the DP (melee with Palisade).

"Jump!"

Tacit Ronin's shock absorbers compress, and fire, launching the jaeger into the air! The landing is shaky, as Palisade's body-slam still clips the jaeger's feet, but Tacit remains upright.

"Aha! Is that really all you've got, scorpion?"

Your turn.

I feel like a grapple now isn't the worst plan. Do we get a bonus to the initial grapple if it's begun with a charge? Or could we inflict some more damage with a blade? Shallow stab up along the underside of its body armor should make it fairly uncomfortable.

Possible plans
[]Retreat 4 units, then charge. Basic Spear Tackle into a Triangle Choke.
[]Make it bleed a little. Stab deep and use that for some leverage.
[]Kick it. Kick it right in its stupid scorpion face.
