No, it means you can shoot Tacit without Texas being clustered. However, you do get a bonus if you decide to just have Tacit and Jagdhund shank him to death. With swords the size of arms and a battleaxe. Or Tacit can just step on it.

Important question: How would we go about dealing with Texas in a way that let's us take advantage of this:

Are we allowed to finish off Texas in a way that let's us save his brain? Because if we can, I'd really like to try to preserve a Kaiju Brain or two.

Or can we do this even if we kill it, we just need to specify after the fact?

Death by blunt force trauma, rather than tearing it to shreds with your nasty swords, would certainly be a start. Blunt and Ice weapons are your best bet in general.

(I forgot about that)

Tacit Ronin, abandoning its fangblades for the moment, stomps down, aiming to crush the kaiju's throat. Texas manages to roll over, interposing its arms between the foot and its neck. The jaeger's foot slams down with a crunch, the black hide beginning to flake off.

Texas takes 1 Strike! Texas is losing stamina!

Texas is 1 unit from Tacit, 5 from Jagdhund, 34 units from the tanks, 5 from the air force, and 51 from other forces.

...I kind of wish the kaiju was upright, because then we could do a charging drop kick.

As it is, I mean we can still do a fancy kick, but there was always something I loved about drop kicks over others. Somersault axe kick! Probably a bit beyond an AI non hth jaeger admittedly...

I guess this would probably be fluffed as just straight up running over the kaiju.
