So what is the upper limit for creatures from one setting to go into Various? I noticed that League of Legends has more than two, and that while Slivers have 3 entries there are many more individual kinds included in those entries.
What I guess I'm really asking is, would it be possible to do a treatment with other MTG creature types, one at a time, and add them to Various? Say, do Lhurgoyfs, then Elephants, then Treefolk or Eldrazi? Or are the Slivers already the most from MTG you want in Various?

It's purely based on what I think represents their settings well. Sky of arcadia got 7 entries because I want all the titan + Cupil. Rayman only got one.
For LoL, I took the void champion because the other champions are humanoid that's all. I didn't select them.
For Smite I put Geb and Tiamat because they fit well. I hesitated on Ratatosk but I didn't like him much so I didn't include him.
Really it's subjective.

Slivers are already the most I want in Various. Their unique to the setting, their semi-well know, and using the card rarity allow me to have four entries are a reasonable power level (I changed the cost a few day ago, because the rare ones were too cheap.)
For Yu-Gi-Oh we have one representative, Kuriboh (whom we already have in the quest). However, like Hearthstone and MTG, it's much too big to make a category. There are thousands of cards, I'll never muster the motivation to sort out that many things. I would need to wade through all that, excluding the undead and the humanoid, assigning costs, and putting notes to clarify some rules.
If I ever find the motivation to include a whole card game it wouldn't be Yu-Gi-Oh because I know MTG much better.
That said if you want to do the work, an give me a fully ready category (including cost, formatting, etc...) it may be included.
I don't see what that has to do with it.
I absolutely don't want a random creature, I don't want to land on a dark magician girl, on a mystical elf, or on a zombie dragon. That would break the no humanoid or no undead rule of the CM. To create a yu gi oh list I would need to only include the creatures that fit and that would be too much work.

Ah, I see what you mean. That's clearer thanks.
Still, it leaves the choice of what's valid or not in the hand of the author. That's not something I want but it's a personal choice. I'm happy with Kuriboh. Sorry.

Accidentally posted this in the other thread but since deleted and moved it here Sapientia's Boss fight in Bayonetta 2 since the wiki mentioned he was in that game as well, again only video I could find.

As I advanced in the corridor I opened the compartment on my wrist and addressed Spy.
"Hey, buddy. I'll be needing you for this mission. I want you to relay to me all the chatter you can catch between the gang members in the hospital. I need to know at what interval they do their checkup and if they use any codeword. Understood?"
He agitated his eyestalks in what I interpreted as understanding.
"Thanks." I then addressed my robotic companion. "Clank, how are you on scouting? Did you find the leader?"
"Negative. Top three floors have been inspected. No new information."
"Okay, keep it up."
I touched my earbud. "Laserdream anything new to report?"
"Hum, no, nothing. I finished on the first floor. A few doctors are confined in their office but they look fine."
"We'll free them once the coast is clear. Anything else?"
"Yeah, the stairs and the elevator leading upstairs are guarded. The guards aren't really vigilant but I think they would see a big spider crawling on the ceiling or the floor. I can't move up."
"Have you tried an air vent?"
"Yes but they're covered by grates with holes too small for even your spider drone."
I frowned in thought, would it work without seeing it? "Let me try something." Using my Know Location power I moved my head to look in the direction of the Spider Bot below me and with an instant of focus applied the Air theme to it. I felt it click in place. "Try again. I applied a Breaker state to it. It should be able to pass through the grate now."
"...What? How? Hum, Okay. I'll try. Give me a moment." As I wait for her to move the bot I continue to advance in the deserted corridor. I came across an open room, inside were three nurses huddled at the back and one gang member keeping an eye on them. I noted that his weapon wasn't equipped with the Tinkertech attachment, which was reassuring, using that thing indoors could be catastrophic. The three women looked afraid but resigned.
Laserdream voice came out from my earbud; "It works! I'm through. I can navigate to the next floor. That's awesome."
"Great, keep me posted if you find anything."
"No problem."
With one last look at the gangster, I turned away to continue, I didn't like leaving him behind but the plan called for a specific order of operation, first the leader.
Speaking of him, Spy chooses that moment to relay his words. "Everyone check-up!"
His voice was deep, firm, and authoritative. It shows much more personality than what I expected from an Empire goon.
"Clank are you recording that?"
"Affirmative."
"Excellent." Spy continued to relay the exchange between the gang members, each one adding its own check-in.
I continued on my way, occasionally looking inside the hospital rooms with doors that were open. Some nervosity was clear on the patient but no obvious sign of panic.
As I approached the end of the corridor and spotted a pair of guards, I felt a new sensation coming from my soul. A confusing sensation of both emptiness and overload, as if the Menagerie was trying to give me something too big for me and was forcefully digging into my soul to make room.
I couldn't repress a shudder, this was seriously unpleasant. Thankfully the full brunt of the sensation didn't last long, after a few moments it abated, leaving behind an aching sensation that I could ignore, mostly.
To distract myself from that feeling I addressed my Minds.
The F*ck was that?!/No idea and I don't want to think about it too much./The menagerie never hurt us before but feeling it dig into our souls is disturbing./Yes, let's talk about our new partner instead./Agreed. So it's an angel. An honest-to-god angel, literally./But not an angel as in the modern depiction, it's much closer to an old-school biblical angeL A sort of eldritch abomination that a human mind cannot comprehend./In that case, it looks like a cyborg-dragon bigger than our recently gained Princess./It's a potent Blaster with multiple options, it can manipulate water to some respectable degree, and it can choose to be visible to only Parahuman./While I don't think it would be enough to straight-up counter Leviathan, maybe it could help./One important thing is that he's fully sapient and can talk, among our big hitters it's a first./The only issue is the look, it got religious imagery everywhere on his body. We can never summon it as is./Seconded, I think the Insect or Lightning themes would work best.
That last remark struck me as very important, I absolutely do not want to be hounded by religious nuts. I was sure that some people would judge its appearance as blasphemous, somehow. And others as proof of the existence of God. In either case, it would only bring me problems. My family has never been very religious and I didn't want to dwell on the fact that somewhere in the multiverse a god exists that creates angels like Sapientia. I think that even in my report I'll call it an insect, easier that way. But I'll talk to him about it first. Maybe he'll prefer something else.
In any case, now was not the time for that. While talking with my Minds I continued to advance and I reached the stairs leading down. Listening to the two guards didn't reveal any crucial information, just some casual talk about a baseball game.
It was unsettling to walk around in plain sight and have nobody react to my presence, almost as if I was a ghost. I contemplated waving my hand in front of a guard just for fun but I had other things to do.
On the floor below I found similar scenes and I heard a new check-in. Those were pretty regular, something like every five minutes. This gave Clank another set of recordings, we'll be able to mix them up to avoid arousing their suspicions.
It was only when I reached the following floor that things changed. But it wasn't Clank or me that discovered the leader, it was Laserdream. I heard her voice coming from my earbud.
"Compendium! I found him! He's on the second floor!" Of course, he was, couldn't make things easy. I started my search by the top of the ten-story buildings so he was at the bottom, couldn't be anything else.
"Great, tell me everything."
She proceeded to give me as many details as she could. It turned out that the man was directing things from the office of the hospital director, in the administrative wings of the second floor. In retrospect, it was an obvious place to look and I felt dumb for not thinking of it.
The description she gave me wasn't very encouraging, still, no cape in sight but the door to the office was closed with guards in front and two men with him inside. Taking them out discreetly wasn't going to be easy.
I hurried to descend to the second floor, on the fifth floor I was joined by the Drone controlled by Clank. Despite going as fast as possible, and with Speed Boost on myself I was indeed moving pretty fast, I still need to avoid colliding with people, I need to be careful around doors, and I need to find my way. In addition, I stopped briefly on each floor to get a lay of the land and locate the guards present.
So I only reached the administrative wings a little less than ten minutes later.
Observing the situation I pondered how I could act. Once again discretion was the hard part.
[] Rush inside and try to put everyone to sleep at once.
[] Have Velocity pretend to negotiate to distract them.
[] Have Manpower and Lady Photo assault the first floor to distract them.

Again I wanted to finish the hospital in this chapter but I reached a perfect point to give you a strategic choice so I opted to stop there. (And you get the chapter sooner.)
So we can only gain 0 points entry this time but we do have Double Dice, Enlarged Dice, and Free Reroll, so the probability isn't too bad.
Why do I feel like that debt will have other side effect like hurting the soul but every time it gets worse? If it any under layer negative then best to just not use it
Yeah since we are in the negatives power is the best choice since there are good 0 point powers that could potentially help us and rolling for creatures in the negatives would be a waste. Will give some thought on our gameplan and edit that in later though I'm leaning towards Velocity to provide distraction.
[X] Have Velocity pretend to negotiate to distract them.
I feel like Velocity will get shoot before he can move to the safety of super speed. With that said, I'm not sure we can pull an all out assault. It sounds like Laserdream is still checking the building for grunts.
