    Okay, I wasn't expecting that one. You'll find more info on the Custom Shard and Personal AI in the spoiler below, but I want to make one thing clear. If the Custom Shard win I will roll on the Custom Sheet to determine its attribute, depending on the result I will create something like three powers that could plausibly fit those criteria and then make another subvote to let you choose. But at no point, you will be able to choose the criteria for the Shard.

    You could gain anything from a Changer 1 power, like the ability to elongate your arms. Or a Trump 10 power, like the ability to nullify power in a 5km radius.
    It would be completely random.

    -Custom Shard: Consult the Custom Creature sheet for more detail on how to create your shard. The Shard will be in a different dimension inaccessible to you it will not count toward your normal summoning limit. You can create or dismiss the link to your shard at will.
    You can gain any number of Custom Shards but if you would gain it an additional time you can instead choose to reroll.
    Note: In addition for the quest you can choose to gift the Shard to any non-parahuman of your choice. It would be permanent and you wouldn't have any control over the Shard but it wouldn't necessitate a trigger event.
    Or you can give it to one of your creatures, creating a para-animal (machine/pokemon, etc…) It would be permanent too.
    -Personal AI: This AI can be implanted into any Computer or similar technology. It will have a mind identical to the users with the ability to access all files on the computer. When unsummoned the AI's memory will be given to the Summoner.
    Note: Your AI is basically your Mind put into a computer/robot/machine and it gains absolute control over it. But it's not smarter than you, cannot think faster, cannot upload itself through the net, etc…

    Even if we gett that sucky stranger 1 rating, we would KNOW about Shards. And know quite alot of things about shards from [veterinarian] and other suportive powers/skills as well. that... is to huge in setting not to take. Also, we can potentially get an actually good shard aswell.

    Oh, and a pig thing for cheap. Tracks mushrooms, so food and even better tracking senses.

    Also if we get a somewhat sucky Shard or one not that useful for us, we can always give it/have it bond with Piggot. If anything will derail canon that would do it.

    I am being somewhat serious as triggering does have a healing effect so Piggot would be somewhat healed by the process.

    That sounds like a BAD idea I'd rather not give Piggot a Shard and get a potentially worse Director in charge.

    On the one hand I'm hesitant on getting a Custom Shard mostly because Jack Slash is still alive and what we get is completely random. On the other hand getting a Shard would actually give us info on them and I am a sucker for Gacha.

    We do not have to use it. So Jack will not affect us unless we make personal use of it.

    And a Custom Shard would be friggin awesome, especially depending on how much information Alex gets about just what that thing is.

    So would they have to wait till they Triggered or would they have access to it like you'd have?

    All those sound good but the Teacher and the Teddy sound best to me.
    Imagine Teddy being observed making something once again got within close enough proximity then take it slowly having to choose between keeping the cloth organs or letting somebody give her some "real" organs!

    Even if it's a Tinker 1 imagine how Armsmaster will be a little torqued after all this time of him constantly expressing that he is not a Tinker, at best a discount Tinker and now suddenly? Even at Tinker 1 he is now a Tinker with access to the most unique pieces of reversible tech on the planet! Hah!

    Maaaaaaan, so much if the game is about to be given away with this Shard! Alex will have to choose if he is gonna be honest and come forward and tell them he wasn't actually a Parahuman tell just now.
