his power barely counted and he was smart enough to realize it. Returning his attention to me frowned, seemingly confused by something.
I wonder if Victor's shard is compatible with some of Compendium's power? Like technically, anyone in the final fantasy setting can learn magic, and Alex has access to Blue Magic. Or there are the Title powers of Veterinary, Chef, Rider and Trainer.

There's little chance it will come up in the quest so I'll respond here.
During the last chapter, Victor did tries to steal some skills from Alex but failed because of Ysalamir.
Without that protection, Victor could copy the skill of Veterinary, Chef, Rider, and Trainer. But Alex wouldn't lose it because it's fiat backed by the Menagerie.
As for Blue Magic, the situation is different, Victor could indeed copy the skill. At least for the spell Alex currently knows. He could learn the hand motion, the mental gymnastic, etc...
But it wouldn't work because he doesn't have any Magic Pool of his own. And his shard couldn't supplement it.

Let's see, if I want to go see Aylamon...?"
Thanks, corrected.

[X] Creature

Creature Roll: (460 points)
Roll D50=22 Fell Seal, D50=20
200 Lemon Pektite, 200 Rakkerjak, 200 Tangrel
Roll D50=27 Golden Sun, D120=8
200 Clover, 200 Crystal, 200 Echo

Not much to say on that selection, except that we don't have any creature from Fell Seal yet.
It's the same setting as our Clockwork variant. And like Pokemon or Digimon they benefit from Accelerated Training because they can level up.
Or we could gain a second Djinn, that's always cool. Perhaps even both we have enough points for it.

[X] 200 Lemon Pektite + 200 Clover

Can clear ALL status effects in a party except "downed" which is probably being knocked out.

Anyways pips, master effects be gone!!!

I am happy with this roll.

Mor djinn is always a good thing. They give minor buffs when not unleached... And clearing out all status effects? Like, say, master effects? Maybe even gray boy bubbles?

We like.

And a growth type to take advantage of our growth training powers

So I've done a quick read of all of potential summons. Here's what I understand:

Pektite: Elemental Jellyfish monsters. Size of a person if not wider. The fruit adjective in front of it is used to describe which element; in this case lightning( wonder what it would think of Alex become a lightning man in front of him?). Can sacrifice all their heal to revive an ally. One of Lemon Pektites' loot drop is something called Godwood. I am not provided a hyperlink to what is godwood, but could be interesting.

Rakkerjack: Big-Hand Tailed Kangaroo Lizard. Exclusively uses it massive tail to move as well as Jump Good. His Abilities seem tailored to ambushes, and he fights well in water(Submariner Passive). No idea what it's loot drops are as the wiki doesn't have this information.

Tangrel: Large Diamond Mole. Okay, not actually diamonds, but the armor looks impressive, and it seems like his abilities are geared towards defensive plays or punishing enemy defenses. Also, has a Big Tail which it uses as a flail. It appears to drop Golden Threads which are used in crafting.

Next the djinn. They are all Venus djinn which means they're technically Earth 'types'.

Clover: All Status Effects Lifted.

Echo: Not sure about the math, but it seems to be the equivalent of Goblin Punch, Earth Edition. A two hit attack based on the users stats, and then increased by 60%.

Crystal: Another healing creature, but no less potent. Heals everyone in the party by 50% of their health. Very flash with orange symbols.

I think these three start as their tier I versions, so no reviving allies, no bonus in water, and no diamondskin until they're trained up.
