@HeroCooky did we get this option cause we didn't bomb the place or were we getting no matter the two leading options
You gained these because you at least tried to look for survivors. Trying costs you nothing, but still many would never think to do so.
But could we get any further ideas of what these things could entail at all @HeroCooky ? Even if it's fairly vague?
The first is holy.
The second is bloody.
The third is music.

Huh.

Oh

OHHH

Faith Based--so likely a powerful Faith Reform

Military Based--so likely a powerful Unique Faction Unit

And a Lantern Psykana, presumably? Or a particularly powerful Song?

..

Shit, would that let us make a mini-Astronomican Beacon? What is a Lantern after all but something that Illuminates the Darkness and reveals where safety can be found?

Either way, I get the feeling that all three of these can be Faction Defining. I'm still in favor of the Catechisms though. Faith can be very dangerous if half-assed, and any good texts to add to our canon can help bank those flames.

Good thing you are basically forced to equip your carriers and ships with them! :V
on the topic of carriers

with the candles keepers insane space marine level pilots, would there be any bleed over of any pilot ever choosing to switch over to becoming space marines and fusing our insane training/conditioning with a space marines insane reaction times and motor control to have future lamenter pilots be cracked as hell?

Space Marines are No Girls Allowed, sadly. Actual intention, he could have added it, he intentionally chose not to to further alienate them from baseline humanity.

That doesn't mean we can't create cool super fighters, but it's not going to be Adeptus Astartes.

[] An Unknown STC
"It reeks of death and destruction, vengeance and blood, howling packs and roaming fights. It demands to hear the scream of its chainsword once more, to tear with claws against its foes. It weeps to bring justice to those denied the same. It yearns for a cause righteous and fair. It begs for redemption after failing its people."
-Celestial Yettin after the sanctification of the STC.
(Gain: ???)
Dreadnought STC?

We might be able to solve the gender issue from the other side. I forgot why exactly we have a monogendered piloting system, but if it's not too onerous you could throw a bunch of men in it as dedicated lamenter recruits.

The bigger issue is likely to be incompatibility with all the MMI' and other systems.

Best pilot from the early normally-born and trained batches being a woman and becoming the Base of our clones.
(Like StarWars clonetroopers are all cloned from 1 specific bounty hunter)

You had some really good pilots and pulled up their Gene-Lines to do some tests, and figured out that they are basically perfect for piloting. Thus your Veteran Pilot Gene-Lines Equipment.

Also, this is my Quest. I already made catboys canon, I can add all the Badass Cyborg Pilot Ladies I want. :V

We should start a project to catboy-ify (/catgirl-ify) our pilots.
The ears and tail are important for peak pilot performance!

Could still try looking for other genelines since we've started expanding our base from a Station to several systems.

It'll happen on it's own over time.

That aside, it's great to see that the Libra performs Exactly according to our hopes! For all that it's sad, losing only One fighter to take out two Ork held systems is nuts. And it'll only get nuttier when we unlock R&D.

Soooooooon.

Well... we did lose the Sagittarius in the fighting and the rest of the fleet took heavy damage. Our focus on survivability probably prevented multiple ship losses.

So make that 1 frigate plus a fighter (need whole-cabin escape modules for fighters and eventually mecha :p)

Yeah, there's' always tradeoffs. We just do the best we can with what we've got. All things considered though, it Does look like we'll have achieved Victory in the Subsector after this, so we should get a bonus AP.

Broadly, I feel... Food and Colony Ship should be done, then VI to make good our recent downgrade (And prepare for the hit we'll take colonizing Itani) From there, the question is if we're going to rush Itani settlement or if we'll spend that on Heavy Industry or Medical.

Infrastructure to 5 should be our next overriding strategic goal here, given how so much shit is gated by them. VI back to 7 means we can absorb the hit from colonizing Itani though without our SDF forces becoming weaker, which is important given how Itani is still going to be regularly jumped by Orks.
