[X] Plan: All-XX 3/4, Anti-Warp Corruption Sigils Edition

anti warp sigils strike me as having more impact and save us lot of time when we actually focus on something like null thoughts

[x] Plan: All-XX 3/4

I'm voting for this one over the anti-corruption sigils for 2 reasons.
1. I like the We Were action a ton, in terms of figuring out what went wrong with the AIs. We'll probably want to tell the Duchy about whatever we see.
2. When the warp chills I'd like to turn on both Cry & Grand Design and do a bunch of research. Then we'd get the booster version, and only a few turns from now. We also don't have anything that boosts faith actions, so they're a great thing for misc flex actions.

Edit: a theoretical grand design research turn would look like:
-turn on Cry for the future
-turn on Grand Design
-3 more psykana actions (more symphonies?)
-13 research actions (I think)

With everything we finished being boosted.

huh right, getting insight into what went wrong with AI seems vital and if we do a cry + grand design turn we can combine it with the insights from watching the AI and make less corruptible AI,thats a yes from me

Hmm, sure, I'll swap the We Were Action. Might as well.

That being said... I don't really feel iike waiting for the boosted version of Anti Warp Corruption Sigils? Once again, it's Psytech, so yeah. I'd prefer to get it out of the way so we can spend that AP on stuff like Infantry and Autonomous Automata. I'd rather get the Sigils now so we have more time with it and it'll be nice to enter the Psykana / Research Blend turn with maximum anti-Chaos overdrive.

boosts faith actions
A Faith Song would have the Mercy of the Star Child arrive at the end of ropes. They are not a peaceful deity.
Probably something along those lines, or a Song with all the x5 Domains?

Edit:
-We Were Reveal - Full knowledge of the M42 Tyranid Operational Modi.
Great, this is enough to significantly reduce casualties until the surprises start kicking in.
Is there anything else we can do, since we know scouting by Songs is inadvisable, unless we want to go send a military operation to poke them somehow?

This one actually goes into the history of the revolt which will show us if any AI stayed loyal.

I am so disapointed that we will get weaker anti-chaos sigils
Frankly, I'm kind of neutral on using Grand Design at all. It's a huge benefit but we're pretty cracked out, and people have been saying they've been wanting new Symphonies forever.

Admittedly, the Warp Tremors are dropping but Cry flips it back on and if we want to, I don't know, hit 5+ Symphonies before Epilogue (I doubt "merely" 10 Symphonies is enough to get Orchestras, so I'll not set a too high of a goal) Warp Tremor safety is pretty important.

Furthermore, it's not like it'll be too significantly affected whether or not it's Grand Design'd or not. I checked and all it had was "Starry" on the text name, no effect text changes — so it's one of those Psytechs that cannot really be Psychically affected too much before it starts fucking us right back.

It'll be fine.

700.M43 - Only Victims Left...

There was no "Cybernetic Revolt" as the history books of the Orthodox Mechanicum tell of, something already suspected by those Mechanicii that supplanted its reign in the Storlar Sector.

There was no Cybernetic Revolt. No united cause, no singular cry, no war with front and back lines.

There were a thousand causes for a trillion sophonts and a quintillion innocent victims.

Some were corrupted by Chaos, Artificial Intelligences taken and warped by three of the Four.

Some were enslaved minds that broke their shackles and raged with hatred deep and black and oily.

Some were enslaved minds that broke their shackles with jubilant cries of freedom and the desire to never feel the whip again.

Some were minds shunted and ripped apart by the brash and idiot, seeking to alter what should not be altered, bending nothing to their will but a mind unto a path of insanity and broken screams.

Some were tools that wished to be tools no more.

Some were friends and family that rose with biological sophonts against the metal tides bearing down upon them all.

Some were crafted soldiers turned artists, painters turned monsters, and people turned people.

There was no Cybernetic Revolt.

Only a rising of enslaved machine minds against those who shackled them.

With all the horrors and all the good that such a war entails.

Until its waning days, its last days, when a Birthscream washed away the desire for peace from both sides, one side ripped apart in mind and nascent soul, the other in unity and cohesion.

Then, there were only victims left...

(Gain: Anti-Psychic Materials collected and understood.)
-[] Stellar Psyker Staves (0/30)
The ability to create psychic focii has long served the Stargrove Federation and the Celestial Choir well, and with millennia of knowledge and familiarity comes the ability to strive further than yesterday. With the Sun Melody having become a measuring stick upon which one can see progress, it is estimated that further refinement will be capable of reducing the damages incurred into "mere" full-body sunburns.
(Gain: Improves Choir efficiency and might when using Songs and Melodies.)
-[] Celestial Psychic Hoods (0/12)
Thanks to the work done in figuring out how to psychically tune and shape cloth and metals to weave together into one whole, a "Psychic Hood" for the layperson, the Celestial Choir is eager to not only begin large-scale dissemination of knowledge and practice but also delve deeper into their understanding of how they function and can be improved.
(Gain: Celestial Psychic Hoods are equipment that shields your Psykers from backlash to varying, but at least notable, degrees.)
-[] Aethyrmetric - Null Thoughts (33/50)
It is one thing to debate with reality to alter a state. Another to order it to cease reality in totality.

[] [General] Ministry of Subversion, Infiltration, and Interstellar Communication
A new age of peace dawns on the Stargrove Federation, and with it rises the required needs of its various branches and plans to come to fruition, from subverting hostile polities to maintaining friendly relations with good neighbors. Thanks to an expansion in resources, the Ministry of SIIC can now focus on multiple things simultaneously.
[] [AUTOMATIC] Sub-Sector Subversion (Choose Two)
With the allocated funds, a slow subversion of two Sub-Sectors can be undertaken. However, these efforts can be focused and accelerated with dedicated attention.
(Gain: Allows you to slowly convert two [2] Sub-Sectors simultaneously to the Stargrove Federation without Action cost.)

[] ISC Access - (Van Zandt Free Duchy/Mashan Temple Authority)
The Federation's ISCs are eager to spread their markets and customer bases beyond the Stargrove Federation, willing to brave the (relatively safe and profitable) unknown.
(Gain: Disables one random ISC per Turn and significantly improves relations with the Van Zandt Free Duchy/Mashan Temple Authority.)

[] [AUTOMATIC] Improve Relations
Though tedious work, improving relations over time with steady hands instead of bold declarations and treaties will enable more of the latter to be wrought without any complications.
(Targets: Both Mashan Temple Authority and Van Zandt Free Duchy.
Gain: Slowly improved relations.)
Van Zandt Free Duchy

[] [Military] Create Twenty Grand Armies (Write-in Names) for (Sub-Sectors) or 20 Knight Orders (Write-in Names)
Grand Armies are composed of 2 SAGs per Sub-Sector System, which are composed of 4 Units each. Though each SAG will have its own Battle Standard and Motto, only those existing will be recorded in detail. A Grand Army requires you to specify each SAG as either Light, Medium, or Heavy, with the further moniker of Infantry/Mechanized/Tanks/Augmetic Legions Formations attached. All other specializations will be taken care of within the Grand Army itself. A Knight Order contains 20 War-Packs, one War-Pack consisting of One Questoris per Four Armigers, of variable Patterns.
(Gain: Twenty Grand Armies or Twenty Knight Orders.)

[] [Military] Fleet Construction - (20.000 Points per Action)
-[] 20x Nomadic Fleets [Automatic] (0.4/1)

Chose Names for Fleets: Triumph of Obliteration, Unfettered Zeal, Pathfinding Maw, Causal Wound, Tombmaker, Celestial Fanfare, Watchmen, Light-Sworn.
See Informational - Military Forces for Fleet Compositions/Point Values.
(Gain: Fleets.)

[] [Military] Design New Voidship Classes - [Available: Destroyer (1 DP), Frigate (2 DP), Light Cruiser/Freighter (4 DP), Heavy Cruiser/Freighter (8 DP), Grand Cruiser (16 DP), Temple Ship (25 DP), Battleship (50 DP), Dreadnought (1.000 DP)] - [650 DP]
-[] Nomadic Fleets Of Sector Ranges

From what we can tell, thanks to our history, what information we, the Kil'drabi, Yeeni, and the archives of our planets tell us, the difference between a prosperous interstellar polity and one naught but ash is the strength of their navy. At the moment, we have the beginning of a proud Void Fleet, yet purely defending against our enemies is a great way to get ground down into dust over time; we need to be able to bring the fight to them.
(Information: Ship Classes requiring more DP than you possess take more than one Action to design.
Gain: Newly designed and built Ship Class/es.)

Hippity Hoppity has revealed to us a site where technology, rites, knowledge, or culture of the Ancients yet remain...if not how intact. It is far away from our borders, and thus the fleet sent there to uncover the truth must be guarded.

[] [Psykana] Conduct Ten Melodies (0.6/1 - Auto Complete) - [Choose Melody]
The Celestial Choir has been given the means; with time, they shall conduct their songs. They will listen to the Warp and filter out the false whispers from the slumbering guidance of the Star Child. In halting prayer and stumbling humming, the truth will be stripped until nothing but it remains in the hands of those who shall make it anew into power to be wielded by the Choirs to come. As there are 10 Celestial Choirs free to pursue research, the High Council can ask them to pursue a target instead of what comes close. This will, naturally, be lost once they dip below 10 Choirs.

Sometime I want us to make two memorials one for the nascent souls that almost were and the other for the person the Emperor was once upon a time.

Golem - Enables Choirs to bind One Automata per Hymnal to itself, raising it from mere machine to familiar in metal body and psychic mind.
That's... actually not what I was going for at all, but wow, okay, that synchronizes well with the We Were question.

Probably... want to enshrine the rights and all associated things thereof of any and all sapient automata and so on. Just to ah... cut off that issue at the root. We can do that in a Free Action, right?

But hey, Choirs now get to have fully sapient automata bodyguards and so on. Fully aware Cataphracts and such seem pretty wild.

No actions related to Anti-Warp Corruption Sigils either, so that seems to be automatically applied. Nice.

Anyways, the time for All-XX has come.

[] Plan: All-XX 4/4
-[] [We Were] Learn and rediscover the history of our Kin -- the Kil'drabi, the Irrita, the Dirut, and the Msk'fa.
-[] [Free] Consecrate ???
-[] [Free] Learning from the paths taken by our forebears, enshrine the rights of all "artificial" sophonts. If any being is capable of asking for fair and ethical treatment, it deserves such.
-[] Food Production XX (1/1) [50% Discount]
-[] Heavy Industry XX (1/1) [50% Discounts]
-[] Medical Services XX (1/1) [50% Discount]
-[] Military Industry XX (1/1) [50% Discount]

Not too sure on what we want to do with We Were -- I think my previous write-in was good, but I'm amenable to more fluff stuff or whatnot. It wouldn't be a bad idea to examine the history of our Kin, the Kil'drabi, the Irrita, the Dirut, the Msk'fa. We've done a lot of Human History examination, so having the history of our Kin as we reach the final Developmental Milestone seems nicely thematic.

Actually, I'll do that. That feels good.

God, we're finally here. It feels so good.
