We should be okay another turn with Grand Design to finish the Necron Capstone, now that we can monitor the Warp, right @HeroCooky ?

On that topic, Military and Heartbeat, get 100 DP of Ship Redesign, do it

@HeroCooky is warp state stable including the symphony effect (so if we keep symphony it stays at is right now) or it's applied on top of it (so if we keep symphony it jumps up)?

Hmm, so it's 2 Full Actions Locked on the Necron Tech, right Cooky? Just to make sure, is that with all the requisite bonuses with banked research dumped on those two actions too, or can we use the banked research we're getting elsewhere?

(If we're really lucky, we can just do one action and banked research the rest, but I doubt it.

If it's the second, nab gen 4 Voidcraft, and whatever, and finish Black Cat but otherwise, is what it is. Excited for the Capstone!

@HeroCooky
1. Shouldn't this be 2 frigates per turn? We did the research with The Grand Design up.
[1 Automated Frigate Production Free]
2. Are the Lamenters putting all our fancy new tech into their battle-barge? They must have had conniptions halfway through construction when they realized how much new tech we'd gotten.
3. Ah, the necron tech takes 2 real actions, not 2 research actions? I was counting on turning on Glint of Genius and getting the requisite actions done in 1 real action. I guess you said locks 2 actions and meant it. Fine, the necron capstone is worth it.

Oh, neat. Well, probably needs to wait because we need to do this before the designs are done. Luckily we can drop new strikecraft into completed carrier designs.

We really should just do this:
[] The Black Cat Buyout (1/2)
Oh but I want this one pretty bad too:
[] Free Neutrality Agreement
Oh this one also - waking machine spirits sounds like a big deal.
[] [Faith] Saint Candidate Thule-6969 HRMHVR
Hallowed be She Who Wakes The Spirits.

Some good options here. I'm surprised not to see anything further on the psykana tree, but I guess that's what we get for choosing the military one. Still, we don't have the full set of military load-outs and gotta wait for the necron options, so it doesn't make sense to start the military design stuff right now. Also - getting a battleship from the Black Cat to examine will likely improve our own battleship design work.

Something like:

[] Plan: To Aquire the Military Capstones
-[] [Psykana][Free] Turn off the Grand Design
-[] [Free] Assign automated frigate production to Taurus-S Troopship production
-[] The Black Cat Buyout (1/2)

So, back from my expedition to town, and yeah, this looks pretty good! Our ship design us high enough now that we can get 50 DP with a single action, which is very good given that's what we need for a Battleship!

I'm thinking we do a 100 DP turn, because between our temporary bonus giving us half an AP for every Military AP we do, and Heartbeat of Industry giving us another half AP, we're effectively getting 2 AP of Work for every 1 we put in to the Military Field. One of these should be sufficient to get our first Battleship design ready and most of our tech updates to boot.

We have one turn of wiggle room for the Black Cats, and we're apparently going to get the Necron Capstone thanks to the 2 AP we pre-committed to Research (Which inflates to 4 Research AP, presumably the Capstone only needs 3?) The real question is "Do we have enough grasp on the actual state of the Warp to be able to risk keeping Grand Design on for another turn to maximize our gains, or should we shut it off", but that's what we got the Observatory for I guess? Still seems kind of vague, but at least we know they were using super-rituals to undo a fuckup on their part instead of asserting dominance, even if it kept us from doing anything ourselves in the process.

Oh yeah, what do the Voidspheres do for us @HeroCooky We obviously unlocked 4th Generation Strike Craft with the gravitational stuff, but the voidspheres seem to be a voidship scale manueverabiltiy boost? Is that functionally a boost to our base speeds or just a super variation of Superior Gravimetric but not as good as the one we unlocked with a Trait?

The AP sink for getting blanks and other stuff sweet christ
With Class Is In Session and a few other action-boosting Songs/Symphonies, we could finish Psykana research and Songs/Melodies pretty fast.

I imagine having Sigils will come in quite handy for our Chaos crusade/resistance, though the other options also look appealing.

Huh. So the rationalization process doubled our production rate for the Grandis, gave a 50% boost for the Modeste, 50% for the Immensa, 33% for the Magnificus, and 25% for the Deus.
(Given all the worlds we have just absorbed, mind, I'm hoping that our military production rates across the board will rise in the coming turns.)

We're waiting for the necron capstone to do the ship designs though, right?

Here's the turn I'm thinking:
[] Plan: To Acquire the Military Capstones
-[] [Psykana][Free] Turn off the Grand Design ?
-[] [Psykana][Free] Turn off Devouring Mechadendrite & Heartbeat of Industry, turn on Glint of Genius at full strength, 100 Choirs into Hippity Hoppity, all of the remaining Choirs into Hiss of the Steam Valves while leaving 50 free for auto-tickers.
-[] [Free] Assign automated frigate production to Taurus-S Troopship production
-[] [General] Research:
--[] Green Ship Infused Missile Payloads (6/7) - [2 Actions Locked]
--[] Voidcraft Generation 4 (bonus research action 1)
--[] Industrialized Production of Gravity-Weapons (bonus research action 2)
-[] The Black Cat Buyout (1/2)

Then next turn we do like 4 military actions to redesign the fleet.

@HeroCooky:
1. We do have the Observatory. Can we keep The Grand Design on one more turn or would that trigger a Warp Storm? All it seemed to give us was that the warp is stagnant.
2. The above use of bonus actions is kosher though - we get 2-for-1 on research actions right?

Hm.

[] [Battleship] Federation-class Crusade Tender
-[] Length
- 20.000 -1 DP
-[] Width - 2.000 -1 DP
-[] Acceleration - 1 Gravity -5 DP
-[] Armor - Ultra-Light Starclad-Pattern -1 DP
-[] Shields - One Refutation-Pattern Void Shield -1 DP
-[] Weapons - (50x Light Lance Turrets -5 DP)
-[] Equipment - (Pure Lenses/Augmetic Security Department/Lens Cogitation Matrix Lattice/Living Warp-Machines/Monumental On-Board Manufactory/Arboretums x 4/Sanctum of the Steam/Luxurious Crew Amenities/Ship Shrines/Superior Gravimetric Engine Calculations) -136 DP

Here's what I'm thinking for a Crusade support vessel. Has 50 light Lance turrets (plus some equipment to boost them) to murder any small ship that tries to get close, Monumental On Board Manufactory plus 4 Arboretums means that the ship can meet the needs of a fleet in both repair and consumables (including food).

Thoughts @Alectai ?

Anyway, I don't want to commit to anything just yet, I'm just trying to figure out where our points should go right now. Black Cat Buyout feels like a good pick if nothing else applies, but my brain is tired right now, and I still need a couple things cleared up first, like if we still get the overflow AP off of the 2 actions on the Necron thing or if those are committed to grabbing the capstone in the last minute, and if we can keep Grand Design on safely for one more turn.

There's a lot of designs we can do though that won't require anything more than what we already have to excel however.
