Spyro's Kingdom (Legend of Spyro Crossover)

I'm trying to think of what we should do with diplomacy next turn. I want to make deeper ties with the Moles to kill any chances of the Renegade Moles from getting to them, and I also want to do the same to the Atlawas so that they'll join the kingdom. However, I want to try to get Kahkan Tsa'ar and her zu'uk to join the kingdom too.
I'm partial to boosting relations with Croesus and the Elder Adrian, to prepare for asking how those golems that used to defend the human villages worked. Seriously: golems.

Personal Attention (LOCKED)
So I know they're busy mastering the elements, but I've been trying to think up novel ways to use this instead. For instance: get Cynder to Study Tactics and Equipment (Malefor's Army). She has in-depth knowledge of the subject, and they're the best example on record of the weaknesses of mixed-dragon armies. Or getting Spyro and Pyra to Study Religion (Menaphite Pantheon), since they're both death-resistant, high in Piety, and skilled enough with Fire to handle staying out in the desert heat.

I'm not saying we should pull them off of training duty immediately, but it's something to consider.

Oh and Flight Rising is on my short list of settings to include now. Will by a bit later after I know more about it and you can't be immediately stomped by the dragon gods.
I was not trying to push things through,as I mostly talk about things repetitively due to ocd. This is your quest, and I am interested in the world you make.

The gods there are mostly fighting each other, and have to keep a barrier over their planet or else worry about a god which would definitely do to them what Slaanesh did to the Eldar gods in 40, but without the grimdark suprisingly.

Maybe Plague too, but that may be more trouble then it's worth.

If fear, shadow, and poison can be good, plague could have a good side. Dragons with strong immunities, for instance. But yes, plague dragons would be more dangerous than fear ones. Diseas is very dangerous.

What I meant was I like the setting and it fits quite literally perfect into what is already established. I try and keep a couple things on the list at any one time, though right now most of the settings on it would crush you, so it will be a while.

Fulmen
Titles: Guardian Candidate
Race: Dragon
Gender: Male
Age: 13

Martial: 10=10 - Having never had any experience at all with planning or leading fights, Fulmen is completely mediocre in this.
Diplomacy: 8+2+2=12 - While he has some understanding of how to talk with people, Fulmen is uninterested due to having his odd visions and ideas ridiculed.
Intrigue: 8-3=5 - Fulmen has no understanding of politics or sneaking around and this lack of subtlety shows in how uncaring he is about showing off his inventions.
Stewardship: 16-3+1=14 - Figuring out how to implement his ideas has caused him to consider how they affect other people.
Learning: 17+2+2=19 - Fulmen loves figuring out ways to make things work better and has come up with several novel ideas already.
Piety: 15+1+5+3=24 - As the Seer, Fulmen is frequently having visions of the past, present, and future which has given him a more mature insight to the world for his age.
Combat: 13+2=15 - Fulmen can hold his own against the average dragon of his age, but not much more.

Dragon (Access to an element, 15P, +2D, +2C (scales with age), -3I, -3S) - Fulmen was born as one of the revered dragons. Dragons have kept the peace through natural might and elemental prowess.
Electricity Novice (Can use Electricity, +1 Piety, +10 to all Electricity rolls) - Fulmen has only recently awakened his element and is still experimenting with it.
Seer (+5P, Can see glimpses of the past, present, and future) - Fortune and luck have blessed Fulmen with the gift of the Seer. He often dreams of things happening around the world both in the past, the present, and sometimes even the future.
Guardian Initiate (+2D, +2L, +3P) - Volteer has chosen the young seer Fulmen to be his apprentice for his strong connection to the world.
Industrious (+1S, +2L, +5 to figuring out and/or implementing new ideas) - Fulmen has always been odd amongst the whelps who call Reliquia home. He often seeks out new means of making things easier and finding ways to implement his ideas on a wider scale.

Fulmen was born to a small family in Reliquia and raised alongside his shadow element older sister Odium. It was apparent early on that Fulmen would often talk about things that he should have no way of knowing, like the opening of the Gielinor portal on the other side of the world. Together with his love for inventing new ways to do things better and faster, caused other kids to ridicule him. As a result Fulmen seems to have disregarded socializing with other whelps his age and instead prefers to spend his time figuring out how to implement his various ideas. Ever since his element was awakened, Fulmen has started trying to get a hold of copper to experiment with.

Fulmen was chosen by the Electricity Guardian, Volteer to be his apprentice.

Turn 14
Footsteps outside of his temporary office caused Spyro to look up from the report he was reading. "Everything at the portal go alright?" He asked as Pyra walked into view.

The Fire Guardian nodded "We had some goblins that seemed to slip past the aviansie to make a charge on the fort." Considering that the aviansie seemed to have no concept of 'battle-lines' and simply raided what they could before retreating, this was no big surprise. "They lacked the power to get past the gates and fled when it became apparent that were too fortified for them to break without the use of siege or one of their ourgs."

"I'm glad to hear it was a minor attack. How are you enjoying your new responsibilities?" Spyro asked the older dragon.

"Nothing like how I grew up expecting it to be." Pyra replied. "There was a lot more focus on combat and leading a battle than there is now. As Ignitus' apprentice I had to carry his flag into battle and he often depended on me to relay orders to the other dragons. Now you have us leading projects and it is very much different than what I was expecting it to be like."

Spyro shrugged. "We are not on a war footing like you were back then and with the new temple being in Warfang for safety reasons, the Guardians can be far more involved in the day-to-day than they were in the past."

Motion in the corner of the room caught their eyes as the shadows coalesced into the form of a dragon. When the shadows parted a moment later, Umbra was revealed looking at some of the documents that Spyro kept for record purposes. "I see the fort's defense went alright." The Shadow Guardian stated absently.

Pyra sighed in exasperation. "I do not know how you found out so fast considering I only just returned, but yes it did. I do not suppose you would consider being seen in public more often? You are supposed to be a leader, Umbra."

"Most of the shadow dragons work for me regardless. Though I did plan on walking out the front entrance today. Best to keep my appearances irregular lest someone track me down." He replied calmly as he handed over his own report to Spyro.

The purple dragon took the report and glanced at it. "Good to see Lyseera is still doing well down there and that you have not had much in the way of issues with her." Spyro eyed the report again before turning to Umbra. "I do wish you would consider toning down the sneaking that you do however. The city and this room in particular are safe and I am sure the average citizen would appreciate it if you put more public appearances in."

Umbra stared down the king in reply. "Not until you have put time into learning the shadow element will I take your word for it. Do you forget that the mahjarrat exist? The majority are skilled enough in Shadow that they could effortlessly sneak past the majority of our defenses around the portal. Not to mention the mysterious praetors of the Zarosian Empire." From what Lyseera could tell them, it seemed that all of the praetors were mahjarrat who had mastered the shadow element and could probably equal Umbra's own skill in the element, let alone the rumored abilities of the Praefactus, Sliske.

"I will keep that in mind." Spyro replied, before turning his attention back to Pyra. "Are you staying for the meeting?"

The Fire Guardian answered affirmatively "Cyril and Volteer believe that I should represent the rest of the Guardians in matters of the spirit. I expect Phydra and Zephyr will have to do likewise once they become full Guardians as well.

Treasury: 5437 Gold
Income: 2100 Gold per turn.

Note: Phydra, Zephyr, and Fulmen are not available for projects this year.

Focus: Choose Two.
Now that the Kingdom of Avalar has been formed and Spyro elected as it's king, it is time to decide on a focus. This will allow you to influence the other settlements of the kingdom and direct their spare resources. Note: You may double up on the focus.

1st Avalar Army (Target): Now that the 1st Avalar Army is complete, it can be used to strike out at the enemies of the kingdom. Getting embroiled in unnecessary war may cause unrest however.
Training (12): It is one's skill in battle that allows them to enjoy freedom. Focus on training both the warriors and soldiers of the kingdom, as well as the militia. Note: Overall skill level is currently below 15.
Defense (2): Ensuring that the kingdom is well defended is key to both prevent attacks and ensure that you are victorious when those attacks do come. Focus on strengthening the defenses of both the portals and the individual settlements throughout Avalar.
Internal Ties (5/10): The many peoples of Avalar are as of yet not used to working together on such a large scale. Focus on binding the many peoples of Avalar closer together. Note: The kingdom is currently not unified.
Foreign Affairs: Now that the Kingdom of Avalar has been established, it is time to found new alliances and establish trade with other polities. Focus on sending diplomats to other realms in order to build better relationships with other realms. Note: The kingdom is mostly unknown.
Growth: The overall population of Avalar is still small and recovering from the war against the Dark Master. Focus on expanding food production and growing infrastructure in order to grow the kingdom.
Education (6): While Warfang currently boasts an outstanding level of education, the other parts of the kingdom are not so fortunate. Focus on making sure everyone in the kingdom is well educated. Note: Education is lacking in the kingdom.
Research: Research and development is one of the best ways to keep ahead of rivals and enemies. Focus your efforts on creating new developments for the betterment of the kingdom.
Spiritual (10): It has been found that developing a healthy spirit is key to one's growth. Focus on ensuring the spiritual growth of the kingdom by honing one's connection to the world. Note: The introduction of Armadyleanism has thrown matters of the spirit into flux.
Write In: There are many things throughout the Kingdom that need attention.

Martial: Choose Two.
Pyra reports that the Gielinor-side fort was assaulted by a band of goblins which were repelled with little problem. According to Clarity it would be best if her department were to focus on training a second flight and creating enough armor to outfit the entirety of Warfang's contribution to the army. She has also come up with an idea which the Guardians have reluctantly agreed to about assigning each of them an assistant who will serve as body-guard, scribe, and anything else they need.

The Second Flight: Now that the population of Warfang has grown and she has a reliable source of recruits, Clarity feels that it is time to train a second flight of soldiers. Unfortunately this second flight will be just as expensive and time-consuming as the last as has to ensure they are up to her new standards which have grown quite high after the first major battle. A second flight will enable her to use one for defense and the other for campaigns away from Avalar. Now that the 1st Army of Avalar has been formed, the dragons who Clarity will be using to form the second flight have already received a significant amount of training.
Cost: 100 Gold. 150 Gold per year. Time: 1 year. Reward: A second flight of dragon soldiers.

A Different Kind of Hunting: With the food situation as bad as it is, Clarity has offered her time toward organizing more hunting trips to make sure everyone has enough food.
Chance of Success: 90%. Time: 1 year. Reward: Food situation stabilized. +300 Gold in loot.

Patching the Holes Part 3 (Martial): With the walls finally repaired, Clarity and Glacies think it time to start replacing the large array of siege equipment that used to line the tops of the walls. As the moles have the most knowledge about siege weapons, the two dragonesses will need to work together with them in order to repair, replace, and man the cannons, catapults, and ballista. With the walls fully repaired and enchanted, this is not nearly as big of a priority and is something that Glacies believes could wait while other things take precedence. Due to the intricateness of the siege equipment, this will be quite expensive.
Cost: 1905 Gold. Time: 3 years. Reward: Warfang defenses upgraded to level 5 (Very Heavy).

Study Tactics and Equipment (Group): Clarity recommends studying how other peoples and nations conduct war in order to broaden your own knowledge on the subject. While studying the moles, cheetah, centaurs, or humans will allow an easier blending of the 1st Army of Avalar, the study of an enemy's tactics and methods will allow her to plan around fighting them.
Chance of Success: Various. Cost: 100 gold. Time: 1 year. Reward: Bonus when fighting with or against the chosen group.

Commissioning New Armor (Army): Now that the secrets to orikalkum have been unlocked, Clarity believes it time to properly outfit all of the dragons under her command. She believes that three hundred sets will be enough for the moment, allowing her to equip all of the current soldiers as well as the reserves who had helped form Warfang's contribution to the 1st Avalar Army. As orikalkum is still a very rare metal and difficult to produce enmasse, doing this will be both expensive and time consuming. To further strengthen the new armor it would be best to make it all 'in house' so to speak which will require the soldiers contributing in whatever ways that they can to the process.
Cost: 1500 gold. Time: 3 years. Reward: All 300 of Warfang's contributions to the army are outfitted in orikalkum armor. +100 to soldier rolls, tier 7 armor.

Commissioning New Armor (Flight): Now that the secrets to orikalkum have been unlocked, Clarity believes it time to properly outfit all of the dragons under her command. Instead of creating enough armor to outfit all three hundred of the dragons, she could instead order a mere third of that and outfit just the 1st Flight. As orikalkum is still a very rare metal and difficult to produce enmasse, doing this will be both expensive and time consuming. To further strengthen the new armor it would be best to make it all 'in house' so to speak which will require the soldiers contributing in whatever ways that they can to the process.
Cost: 500 gold. Time: 1 year. Reward: Warfang's 1st Flight are outfitted in orikalkum armor. +100 to soldier rolls, tier 7 armor.

Guards for the Guardians: The Guardians are leaders who are trained from a young age in every facet of leadership imaginable and their element to otherwise unheard of levels of skill which makes them important pillars of the community.. Now that Clarity has become more aware of just how time intensive it is to train a Guardian, she regards their protection more essential than ever. In conversation with Cyril, Clarity has come up with the idea of training an assistant to both take care of the more minute details of a Guardians' role as well as keep an eye out for threats. Considering that the Guardians frequently attend to elementally powerful locations, these assistants would have to be at least experts in their element, though she would prefer that they be masters. This is of course in addition to all the training that an important bodyguard should receive.
Cost: 300 gold. 50 gold per year upkeep. Time: 3 years. Reward: Bodyguards for each of the Guardians. Drastically reduced chance to be impacted by poor rolls.

Diplomacy: Choose Two.
Ventis is a little bit saddened by the fact that Zephyr will be busy for the majority of the year as he has come to rely on the new Wind Guardian quite a bit. As always the diplomat is pushing for solidifying the unity of the kingdom and reaching out to other countries and factions to extend a paw of friendship. In particular he would like to try his luck at convincing Kahkan Tsa'ar and looking into one of the more friendly kingdoms on Gielinor or Hyrule.

Coordinate with the Moles (action): The moles have agreed to coordinate on construction projects around the city. They are eager to rebuild the city and have expressed worries about the lack of walls.
Chance of Success: 100%. Time: 1 year. Notes: Must be done on the first turn of the project. Reward: Half cost and time of selected construction project.

Coordinate with Cheetahs (action): Ventis says that the cheetah are greatly worried about the rift and are willing to send what warriors they can to help. They offer their expertise in either fortifying the rift, patrolling around it, or scouting the other side.
Chance of Success: 100%. Time: 1 year. Notes: Must be done on the first turn of the project. Reward: +10 to most martial or intrigue actions (excluding political ones)

Deeper Ties (Group): According to Ventis it would a good idea to deepen the ties with not just the other parts of the kingdom, but also other kingdoms and peoples. At the moment Ventis would prefer to bring the peoples of the new kingdom closer together.
Chance of Success: Various. Cost: 50 gold. Time: 1 year. Reward: Increase closeness and opinion with chosen group.

Diplomatic Negotiations (Group and Topic): Ventis has offered to enter talks with one of the other races or groups. Several of the known races have knowledge or services that dragons do not and the Wind dragon is willing to see if he can negotiate a deal of some kind. There are many groups that could be negotiated with, though not all would be easy. Ventis would also like to see if he can negotiate the admittance of other peoples into the kingdom, both on and off of Avalar.
Chance of Success: Variable. Time: 1 year. Reward: Negotiations for goods, services, knowledge or other information.

Persons of Interest (Target): With the help of Umbra's intelligence network, Ventis has offered to build a profile on notable individuals to assist in diplomacy or intrigue. Gathering this information will depend on how friendly you are with them and thus trying to ascertain information on the leader of a hostile or unknown power would be extremely difficult and unlikely to gather much usable information. Lyseera's assistance has made the prospect of researching individual mahjarrat a significantly easier affair.
Chance of Success: Variable. Time: 1 Year. Reward: Character sheet for given character.

Intrigue: Choose One. One Locked.
Umbra has been rather busy scouting Hyrule alongside keeping up with his new duties as Guardian and coordinating his spy network. Despite all of this he has found the time to offer his network's services in building profiles on persons of importance. Considering that there are several major individuals on Gielinor who have single-handedly won entire battles, researching them is something he considers a priority.

Persons of Interest (Target): With the help of his intelligence network, Umbra has offered to build a profile on notable individuals to assist in diplomacy or intrigue.

Investigate (Target): Umbra has offered to investigate any of the groups on Avalar or Gielinor. He is however uncertain about his chance to sneak around where the mahjarrat are concerned which rules out any Zarosian, Zamorakian, or Kharidian territory as those are likely locations of the mysterious race. Additionally sneaking around a god or other entities who can use shadow is also a risky move. On the other paw, the wealth of information gained could outweigh the risks. As the dragons of Warfang already have a strong rapport with the aviansie, he thinks he could investigate any Armadylean aligned group relatively hassle-free, though how much he gains from such an endeavor is open to question. With Lyseera's help the dangers of investigating the Zarosians, Zamorakians, or Kharidians have gone down.
Chance of Success: Variable. Time: 1 year. Reward: Information on chosen group.

Scouting Hyrule: With the more immediate issues taken care of, Umbra believes that it would be a good time to scout Hyrule and find out what possible allies and enemies can be found in this new land. He would prefer to do this as soon as possible in order to not be blindsided; there may be things worse than the already encountered monsters and the spy would like to know what he needs to prepare for. Umbra does believe it likely that the natives are for the most part friendly, but you have likely not encountered all of the different races that call Hyrule home.
Chance of Success: ???. Cost: 100 gold. Time: 3 years. Reward: Knowledge of factions, monsters, and possible resources among other things. Locked - Two years remaining. (Umbra)

Monitor the Kingdom: With the knowledge that there is a powerful race of shapeshifters and the potential for similar threats, Umbra would like to do a sweep of the kingdom in order to be sure that you have not been infiltrated by subversive elements. While this will hopefully ensure that there are no threats to the kingdom already inside your borders, the other settlements may not appreciate Umbra's Shadows sulking around investigating every little thing.
Chance of Success: Variable. Time: 1 year. Reward: No espionage detected against you. Small chance it may anger parts of the kingdom.

Stewardship: Choose None. Three Locked.
Glacies and her department are much too busy for new projects year. With Argent's help in building the governing district, she has only had to manage two projects at once, though she still finds herself helping Argent to ensure such an important project proceeds as scheduled. Once the fish farms are completed, the ice dragoness is expecting an improvement to the growth rate of the population.

Gone Hunting: Food has become a very big problem due to the large population of dragons calling the city home. Glacies recommends sending out hunting parties immediately to make sure nobody goes hungry throughout the year. Now that you finally have a small surplus of food, Glacies believes that you can lay off on the hunting. However a supplement every few years for the extra food and gold generated by the trophies would not hurt.
Chance of Success: 100%. Time: 1 year. Reward: Food situation stabilized. +300 Gold in loot.

Expanding the Fish Farms: Glacies and Phydra believe that the population of fish has replenished enough to begin expanding the fish farms. While as right now Warfang has a small surplus, this will not last as the population continues to grow. Glacies would like to preempt any kind of food situation by starting it and claims that the extra food will convince more dragons that it is a good time to start a family.
Time: 2 years. Cost: 476 Gold. Reward: Medium fish farm, +1 Food Level (+.10% population growth), +100 gold in income from fish. Locked - 1 year remaining. (Glacies)

Patching the Holes Part 3 (Stewardship): With the walls finally repaired, Clarity and Glacies think it time to start replacing the large array of siege equipment that used to line the tops of the walls.

Prospecting Gold: With the new maps that the cheetahs have helped to supply, Glacies is salivating over the potential gold to be made in hard to acquire materials. As it stands right now, most dragons make use of the already existing materials as the families who worked the various gem and metal deposits were mostly killed off during the early stages of the war as easy targets. This means that there are very few new sources of critical materials, such as gold, silver, iron, coal, or gems, let alone the more magical materials. Glacies would like to remedy this soon.
Chance of Success: Variable. Cost: 95 Gold. Time: 3 years. Reward: Gem and ore deposits uncovered. Locked - Two years remaining.

Rebuilding the City Government:
Now that the Kingdom of Avalar has been formed with Spyro and Cynder as it's rulers and Warfang as the de facto Capital, it is time to build a headquarters for the Kingdom's government. This will take the form of what some would call a palace, though Clarity and Glacies insist that said palace have defenses formidable enough to defend the beating heart of the kingdom. As such the 'palace' will have runed walls like Warfang itself has, though with greater enchantments instead of major enchantments. Alongside it's own minor garrison and storage houses, the palace will be able to act as the ultimate fallback point should everything else go wrong.
Cost: 2857 Gold. Time: 3 years. Reward: Personal Attention action, government district constructed, Increased ties to the rest of the kingdom, ultimate fallback point, massive show of prestige to visitors, +200 gold in taxes. Locked - One year remaining. (Argent)

Learning: Choose One. One Locked.
Therris is still hard at work at deciphering the mysteries of Armadyleanism and has stated that he hopes this is not something that he winds up doing more of as he would rather stick to much more material pursuits. Meanwhile Volteer has been hard at work figuring out the more advanced forms of sympathetic enchantments which is an area that the aviansie do not seem to be quite as advanced in compared to the dragons of old. With what freetime that Therris has, he has suggested delving more into the physical mysteries of the elements as this will greatly impact any material projects concerning the element in question.

Finding the (Race) Metal: With the revelation that orikalkum resonates incredibly strongly with dragons, Therris wonders about whether or not similar metals exist for the other races. With the knowledge that Gielinor is not the original world for most of the races who inhabit it, the studies into centaur and human metals will have to wait until access to their original planets can be undertaken. For the moles and centaur however, Therris is sure that a thorough search of Avalar will turn up something that resonates strongly with the race. In fact the limited research that he has managed to do into the metal that the aviansie use has revealed that it resonates with them and one of the main components of it is a metal that they have thus far only found on Abbinah, lending credit to his theory.
Chance of Success: 50% (cheetahs/atlawas)/0% (centaurs/humans). Cost: 200 gold. Time: 2 years. Reward: Metal that resonates with chosen race (considerable boost in capabilities when used by that race).

Thinking with Portals Part 1 Enchantments: With the knowledge of portals between worlds or into and out of Convexity, Therris thinks it possible to link together much more mundane areas such as Warfang to the cheetah village, or a far reaching enclave. This will be a very long and involved process that Therris admits will most likely take a very long time to get right. In fact such an undertaking will be so difficult and tedious that he has split it into three different parts, enchantments, the connection with aether, and combining the knowledge.
Chance of Success: -5%. Time: 3 years. Reward: Sympathetic enchantments for portals.

Viewing the World Part 1 Enchantments: One of the great losses of the war was the loss of the Dragon Temple's Pool of Visions. This unassuming artifact allowed the Guardians to keep abreast of everything going on in the world and seemed to be even further amplified by a rare talent that very few had. Unfortunately the knowledge of how to make the artifact was lost and recreating it will be incredibly difficult, perhaps even more difficult than portals.
Chance of Success: -25%. Time: 4 years. Reward: Sympathetic enchantments for the pool of visions.

Advanced Sympathetic Enchantments: Now that Therris has discovered how sympathetic enchantments works, he has discovered that there is far more to the subject than he had first thought. From portals, to the pool of visions, to even the disease that killed Terrador. All of these things and more used the same concepts and Therris thinks that he can figure out the underlying principles. This will enable the use of the enchantments on a far wider range of things, such as connection distant locations, the Fire of a volcano to a place far away, and other such things.
Chance of Success: 35%. Time: 3 years. Reward: +30 to other sympathetic enchantment projects. Locked - Two years remaining. (Volteer)

Study Element (Element): With the reports back from the Guardians and their trips to the elemental nexuses, Therris would like permission to delve into the more material side of each element. For example the strange sight of electricity flowing through the ground at Sky's Conduit has made the researcher question whether a more physical use of the element could be identified. Further the elements of earth and poison have a great many varied compounds that could prove interesting such as the metal titanium or the neural toxin that a frog of all things afflicted a poison dragon with. To start with Therris recommends that he does a comprehensive in order to catalogue everything related to the element in question.
Chance of Success: 60% (increased by studying the respective element). Cost: 100 gold. Time: 3 years. Reward: Increased knowledge of the chosen element's interactions with the physical world, new actions unlocked.

Study Titanium: The existence of titanium in metal which resonates with the moles has Therris quite excited. Obviously there is more to the powdery white metal than is currently known and the researcher is eager to unlock it's secrets. Currently it takes an expert earth dragon to isolate miniscule amounts of the actual metal from the powder and in order to get it in any noteworthy amounts, a master is needed. Seeing as to how this is just not possible for the moles, Therris has volunteered to look into unlocking titanium's secrets. This will be a tremendously difficult process due to both how little is known about titanium and the lack of mundane techniques for separating metals from their ores.
Chance of Success: 30%. Cost: 50 gold. Time: 1 year. Reward: Able to use titanium without earth dragons. Grants moles access to their racial metal in large quantities.

Piety: Choose One. One Locked.
There is a great celebration to be had at the beginning of the year as both Phydra and Zephyr reach the summit of their elements. Additionally Fulmen begins his training this year which for the most part involves shadowing Volteer as the older Guardian goes about his work as well as spending a considerable amount of time reviewing the basics of education. In the meantime the Guardians continue working on their various projects this year, save for Phydra and Zephyr who will spend the year working through an exhaustive series of tests and studies to ensure they are ready to be Guardians.

Fulmen gains trait Guardian Initiate (+2D, +2L, +3P) - Volteer has chosen the young seer Fulmen to be his apprentice for his strong connection to the world.

Phydra upgrades trait Water Master (+5P, +1C, can use more powerful Water techniques, +50 to all Water rolls) into Water Grandmaster (+1M, +8P, +3C, can use more powerful Water techniques, +80 to all Water rolls) - Phydra has reached an understanding of the water element that only a scant handful in recorded history have ever attained. This great understanding is primarily the result of her lonely childhood where she spent years alone with naught but the waves.

Zephyr upgrades trait Wind Master (+5P, +1C, can use more powerful Wind techniques, +50 to all Wind rolls) into Wind Grandmaster (+1M, +8P, +3C, can use more powerful Wind techniques, +80 to all Wind rolls) - Through long study and hard work, Zephyr has attained the pinnacle of his element. He is among only a handful to have mastered wind to the degree that he has and is already pushing his new understanding of the element to it's limits.

Training New Guardians Part Two Elemental: With five new Guardian Initiates and the Fire Guardian Apprentice Pyra found alive, it is time to resume training. The first step in this training would be to instill what the Guardians consider the basics. This would consist of patching the holes in the initiates' education. As a Guardian, they are expected to be polite, knowledgeable, capable leaders, and able to take care of themselves in combat.
Chance of Success: 1d100 of 200 (Fulmen), 1000 (Argent/Virii/Timor). Reward: Progress made toward elemental traits. Fulmen gains Electricity Adept, Argent/Virii/Timor gain EarthPoison/Fear Grandmaster.

Research (Element) (Planet): With Umbra's successful investigation into Gielinor's Shadow, the Guardians have decided that additional investigations into not just Gielinor's elements, but also Avalar's elements might be warranted in order to catch any surprises. This is particularly important as Malefor's destruction and Spyro's restoration of Avalar might have had unforeseen consequences on the elements.
Chance of Success: 50% (Avalar)/20% (Gielinor). Time: 1 year. Reward: Knowledge of current state of element on chosen planet.

Research Religion (Religion): Now that Armadyleanism has spread to Avalar and is thus far the only accepted religion of it's kind, Cyril thinks it a good idea to research it in depth. Studies into how worship of the gods impact their worshipers could prove to be most enlightening. Though he suggests studying Armadyleanism first, there are a wide number of religions on Gielinor that could also be studied.
Chance of Success: Varies. Time: 2 years. Reward: Knowledge of the chosen religion, knowledge into how the religion affects both the god and tt's worshipers.

Temples for the Elements (Element): In some of the oldest stories and records that Timor has found, there are tales of grand temples being established at the nexuses which served as an incredible school and research center dedicated to that element. This practice seems to have fallen out of favor hundreds or even thousands of years ago and the temples have long since been destroyed. Timor and Zephyr would like to see these temples rebuilt and in time serve as places of learning and reverence once again. There is only one problem; such an endeavor will be extraordinarily expensive and is likely why the practice was discontinued so long ago. This will require ground-breaking new engineering techniques unique to each temple, enchantments rivaled only by the Pool of Visions, and it must be done almost exclusively by dragons of the respective element as others will not be able to get close enough to the nexus.
Chance of Success: 50% (Uses stewardship). Cost: 3000 gold. Time: 4 years. Notes: Must be done by the respective Guardian. Success chance, cost, time, and rewards affected by inventing portals. Reward: Incredible breakthroughs in the elements both physical and spiritual, massive increase in elemental skill level and spiritual average.

Personal: Choose Three (Spyro, Cynder, and Either)
Spyro has managed to reach the next level of skill in the wind element, which makes it the fifth out of the nine elements that he is expert or higher with. With Umbra's advice concerning learning the shadow element to stay aware of high level users of it, Spyro thinks it might be a good idea to learn the element and Cynder agrees. Aside from that, Galena has just turned three-years old and is quite a delight to have around, even if the young whelp has proven remarkably hard to keep track of.

Spyro upgrades trait Wind Adept (Can use Wind, +0P, +20 to all Wind rolls) into Wind Expert (Can use Wind, +0P, +30 to all Wind rolls) - Spyro has now become an expert in his fifth element which opens up new options for him in combat.

Relaxation: Now that Spyro and Cynder are used to their new lives, they can afford to take it easy every once in a while to unwind or simply spend more time together.
Time: 1 year. Notes: Can double up on Spyro and Cynder actions. Reward: Reduced stress. Other things if time is spent together.

Spend Time with (Character): There are many significant individuals in Warfang, both dragon and non-dragon. Spend some time with one of them and you may learn something. (May choose a character or leave it up to QM)
Chance of Success: Variable. Time: 1 year. Reward: Information. Increased Relationship. Chance of stat gain or elemental progress.

Spyro - Mastering the Elements (Element): While Spyro can be considered an expert in using the elements, he could go further and begin the process of mastering an element. This would require dedicating his time to one element; with the temple restored and the new initiates trained, it will be considerably easier to train the elements.
Chance of Success: 1d100 of 100 (Water/Shadow/Poison/Fear), 300 (Wind), 500 (Fire/Ice/Electricity) or 1000 (Earth). Reward: Progress made toward chosen element.

Cynder - Mastering the Elements (Element): While Cynder can be considered an expert in using the elements, she could go further and begin the process of mastering an element. This would require dedicating his time to one element; with the temple restored and the new initiates trained, it will be considerably easier to train the elements.
Chance of Success: 1d100 of 100 (Fire, Ice, Electricity, Earth, Water), 500 (Wind/Shadow/Poison/Fear), 1000 (Wind). Reward: Progress made toward chosen element.

Mastering the Code of Reality: Aether allows one to alter reality with enough will and provides both the ultimate offense and the ultimate defense. Unfortunately Aether is incredibly difficult to master as nobody, save Spyro and Cynder can even use it and both have been almost lost to the dark side of it forever. Mastering the conventional elements first may make this easier.
Chance of Success: 1d100/1000 (Low rolls have disastrous consequences). Reward: Progress toward becoming a master in Aether.

Shaping Reality: It is a purple dragon's spiritual right to master the elements. Malefor however did something nobody had even considered and added the elements of Shadow, Poison, and Fear. With this revelation, there have been rumors that Wind and Water are not original elements either and that only the prime elements of Fire, Ice, Electricity, and Earth are natural. While Spyro is nowhere near Malefor's level of mastery over Aether, it could be done.
Chance of Success: 20% (Spyro)/11% (Cynder). Time: ??? Notes: Can double up Spyro and Cynder actions. Reward: New Element.

Thinking with Portals Part 2 Aether: In order to make portals a reality, Therris has determined that the connection between portals and aether must be figured out. This means that Spyro and/or Cynder will have to touch the one thing that truly scares them. Just as aether can be a tremendous force for good, so too can it be a catastrophic force of destruction. Despite this concern, both dragons are willing to admit that being able to create portals would a massive help and that it should not be too dangerous, so long as they avoid overreaching themselves.
Chance of Success: 30%(50% with both dragons). Time: 2 years. Notes: Can double up Spyro and Cynder actions. Reward: Aether connection to portals unraveled.

Masterwork Dragon Armor (Spyro and Cynder): The potential of a masterwork piece of orikalkum armor enfused with greater/master/grandmaster level enchantments for the elements and aether exists. In order to make this possible a year will need to be completely dedicated toward making a single set of this armor as well as other dragons to help in the forging process. If an aviansie master or grandmaster smith and enchanter could be persuaded to assist then the quality will increase dramatically. This will be an expensive undertaking since the ore has to be attained, willing metalworkers and enchanters paid, and the prestigious master or grandmaster aviansie smiths and enchanters convinced..
Chance of Success: 100%/50%/10% (uses diplomacy). Cost: 500 gold. Time: 1 year. Reward: Tier 8, 9, or 10 armor. +200 to combat rolls.

Fixing the Mahjarrat Part 1 Examination: With the knowledge that the mahjarrat are forced to use the barbaric practice of sacrificing one of their own in order to stay alive and the fact that new births cannot keep up with the steady decline of the race, Spyro has decided that something must be done. To begin with he would like to do a thorough examination of the spiritual side of Lyseera which is something the mahjarrat is in full cooperation with. Once he has identified the precise nature of what he is working with, Spyro will be able to plan his next move.
Chance of Success: 0% (uses piety). Time: 3 years. Reward: Cause for why mahjarrat do not renew their power on their own.

So I think we should have Spyro & Cynder both focus on Shadow, and that we have them spend time with Umbra. With all the bonuses, Spyro is sure to become a Shadow User at the least.

Other than that, we should get Internal Ties dealt with and that we should do a Research Element action. Maybe... Have Cyril research Avalar's Ice Element? I just know having a Grandmaster assigned to Research their Element is worth it.

I have just about had it with the way SV's formatting works. I can't find a rich text to BB code editor that actually works (something strange about certain websites and my browser) and I have to redo all my formatting simply because I would rather use google documents and their auto-save function over SV's own save function. I'm afraid of losing everything I work on like so many authors do.

...Does SB have this same problem?

I think SB does have that issue where it automatically deletes all your work at a specific time if you are using a thread's post builder. The only advice I can give is, tough it out, speak to a moderator, or use one of those 'Users can post a thread that will be for Staff eyes only for varied purposes' threads.

Plan: Getting to know you better

Focus:
-[X] Internal Ties (5/10):
The many peoples of Avalar are as of yet not used to working together on such a large scale. Focus on binding the many peoples of Avalar closer together. Note: The kingdom is currently not unified.

-[X] Education (6): While Warfang currently boasts an outstanding level of education, the other parts of the kingdom are not so fortunate. Focus on making sure everyone in the kingdom is well educated. Note: Education is lacking in the kingdom.

Martial:
-[X] Commissioning New Armor (Flight):
Now that the secrets to orikalkum have been unlocked, Clarity believes it time to properly outfit all of the dragons under her command.

-[X] Guards for the Guardians: The Guardians are leaders who are trained from a young age in every facet of leadership imaginable and their element to otherwise unheard of levels of skill which makes them important pillars of the community..
100 gold per year. Time: 3 years. Reward: Bodyguards for each of the Guardians. Drastically reduced chance to be impacted by poor rolls.

Umbra has offered to investigate any of the groups on Avalar or Gielinor.

Study Titanium:
The existence of titanium in metal which resonates with the moles has Therris quite excited.

Training New Guardians Part Two Elemental:
With five new Guardian Initiates and the Fire Guardian Apprentice Pyra found alive, it is time to resume training. The first step in this training would be to instill what the Guardians consider the basics. This would consist of patching the holes in the initiates' education. As a Guardian, they are expected to be polite, knowledgeable, capable leaders, and able to take care of themselves in combat.

Before anyone asks why I'm putting off studying the elements, here's my reason: the first one I want to look into is Shadow, but Cynder for something like the til next turn, and Umbra til two turns. I could study another element til then, but doing so take three turns to do will lock us out of any other learning for next turn.

Edit: Turns out Phydra is not available. Fixed that.

Alright, so we have two martials and two diplomacies available. With Phydra free... can we send her to Investigate Rellekka and the Fremmenik lands? They're supposedly mostly islands, so Ocean Dweller might keep her alive at least, and we can use some of our loose diplomacy to Coordinate with the Cheetahs, since the Moles are temporarily disposed.

The reason I bring this up is because their civil war is probably not going to last much longer, if they've got a scapegoat like the rumors imply. I want to find the Lunar Isle, figure out what's going on with them, and maybe make some friends with them or their enemies. Our new empire is expensive, and we're going to need sources of wealth and information if we want to keep things moving smoothly.

Edit: damnit, Phydra's not free. Pyra and Cyril are probably too high-value for this kind of thing... but then, maybe not?

Still think we should go all in regarding Spyro's Shadow Training, so that way he's either close to or gains Shadow Adept instead of just Shadow User. Plus, by having Cynder involved, she'll be close to Shadow Master as a result.

Remember this?
- Alongside the time spent with Volteer and his own quite significant duties, Spyro has worked on further honing his connection to Wind in preparation for when Galena is old enough to learn it herself. By the end of the year, Spyro has reached a comparable level with wind as he has with his other elements bar earth. Though there was a hilarious result when sleep deprivation from late nights managing the newly formed government combined with his focus on wind and electricity resulted in an out of control electric cyclone tearing up the training ground that he was using. Reward: Spyro reaches expert in wind. Accidentally made an electric cyclone.
Spyro needs time to relax. The last thing we want is a sleep deprived Spyro, or Cynder, doing things with no focus.

Oh shoot. Forgot to mention it under the intrigue blurb. The nobles feud ended in Baselt's favor. I think there was also suppose to be a new intrigue action, but I'll have to check my notes.

I'll finish the map... tomorrow or so. But the Lunar isle is north of Piscatoris... which isn't actually named on that version of the map. Piscatoris is the peninsula Eagle's Peak is on. Also I'm on like version 1.4 of the map and Piscatoris got cut in half just about as it was way too large.

Not like he'll literally do nothing but train, and I think the Electric Cyclone was more just for flavor. Nianque would of said if Spyro & Cynder + Relevant Guardian would have negative effects on Spyro's wellbeing.

Spyro's not at the point of stressed out just yet. The governing district and palace will greatly reduce his work-load. And yeah if a character starts getting stressed, I'll add something in the turn to specify it. That said, Spyro isn't quite there yet and if it weren't for the new district reaching completion he'd be stressed out enough for it to start negatively affecting him either next turn or the turn after. As is, you still have some time.

Sometime I do like to add some fun little flavor. Like the boggarts near beginning of the quest.

Really the only difference is going all-in regarding Spyro's Shadow training, and so Cynder gets close to Shadow Master herself. Like, if we're going to train an Element, going all-in will save us a lot of time.

@Nianque: Would using Double Down on actions like "Commission New Armor" and "Guards for the Guardians" do anything? Like, could it improve the armor's quality or allow us to get the guards sooner?

@Nianque: Why aren't we getting any more piety from being a wind expert? I know we can't go higher than 49 until we gain a paragon trait, but Spyro currently has 46 piety and getting the +3P from wind expert would put him at 49, which should still be below paragon.

Because climbing up in stats when you are that close to paragon gets progressively harder. A paragon-worthy action would still get him paragon at this point, but doing something easy (for him) like learning an element isn't going to give him more piety. Master and Grandmaster will still give him piety however.

Double-Down will affect the armor action, but not the guard action.

Also still debating whether or not Umbra is available to spend time with considering he's out scouting a different world. Hmm I guess you're good because he obviously can't be in the field as much as he wants considering he needs to do Guardian stuff and run his network

Double-Down will affect the armor action, but not the guard action.

Huh, figured throwing more money at "Guards for the Guardians" would help. Mean, they not only have to recruit people who are either experts or masters, but also have to train them up for the role.

So more money should allow for securing better resources for training, and more money means swaying better candidates into actually agreeing. After all, there's a gold requirement for each turn, so I figured the money was being used for training them & getting the best.
