I don't know if they ever settled on a decision or not, but for a little while Sega was going back and forth on whether the classic games took place in the past or in a separate dimension. so it's kinda up in the air.

Well the Phantom Ruby was lost in space time rift in the end of Sonic Mania Plus so is possible Eggman end up forgetting about the Ruby.

If they weren't transported here they probably would be very high roll schematics in my opinion.

At least heavy king would be considering he would be a hero unit tier badnik.

On the other hand, want to really ruin someone day? built the big chaser.

Much appreciated. Second question, do their bonus' stack?

More badniks mean higher bonus' right?
Yup as long as the Badniks assigned don't pass the power cap, you can stack as many as you want and their bonus applies

How did you expect to pass the 200 Dc to attack Zavok? The idea is for you guys ti amass enough Badniks so you can charge at them.

You are literally throwing your army against them with the raid actions.

I have a supervillain-ish question: could we use the zeti as a power source for some kind of super weapon? Perhaps some kind of giant electromagnet?

Just for fun.

I thought it was going to be a team of heroes or something due to them being able to control machines.

Hmm, that would make the conch also necessary to make sure that plan doesn't go sideways.

Disabling those guys of being able to hack our badniks is the edge we need if we want to use our badniks in general againts them.

Well if we did get Sage that would also be a way as long as we learn on how to mess with their own magnetic fields ability without the conch.

Okey true, that's a bad example, the Zeti do counter most Badniks. So against them assigning Badniks without a counter to their powers do means you potentially lost whatever you throw at them.

But that do applies for the other factions

the Egg Bishops and Egg Magicians are both able to heal other bots, this would be very useful for obvious reasons, but I'd say the magician is definitely better for being able to attack on it's own

These are part of the Egg Pawn [Variants], it's all catch term since there are too many variants of Egg Pawns to make every single one of them separated.

All the member of the Hard Boiled Eggs would be considerate tier 3 hero units but I think they would work best as a heroball.

Can we use Badniks to help research as well?

I thought the variants were just a reference to how a lot of stages will just have recolored egg pawns with no mechanical differences. these guys have a pretty specific power that we'd want to be able to use reliably in other areas.

Hmm thinking about it, do we have any ice or water elemental badniks that throw around that element like the fire breaths?

Just a fun little idea to combine a badnik of that type with fire breaths, after all have you seen what happens to materials when you heat them and cool them off too quickly?

Brittling some more heavy armored enemies could get us a good win.

Huh...didn't think of that. Good to know.

That would be combat bonus right? Just want to be sure.

Are there any Badniks actually specialized for research? And I do mean actual research and the like?

Otherwise no.

...Fair. Can we make them?

Maybe we should try to deplete Zavok's manpower and take out some of the other Deadly Six before we take a run at him. The fat one's in traction right now, might be a good time. Jump them when they go off on their own, lure them into Empire traps, that sort of thing.

Right. That. Is the conch gonna be enough to get around that or.....

The Conch will help but is no silver bullet.

What about Mystics, can they be use there thanks to the Egg Magicians and Egg Bishops variants?

If that was the case then you would have to build a Egg Pawn for each case such as miners, builders, janitors, etc.

Deplete they power makes them vulnerable to all factions, we have to reclaim our empire without destroying all our stuff.

Probably a good idea. Though considering the current situation it might be best if we let everyone fight it out for awhile.

Feels more like the Conch is the bare minimum to pull this off.

And yeah fair. We want to beat the Zeti but we don't want anyone else to do it since they have our stuff.

hmm, the closest we've got is the ice balls (who have an ice flame thrower) or the ice bomba (who drop ice bombs), but neither of those are really on the same level as the fire breath.

the big icedus is the only boss I know that's even kinda like that and it just throws big blocks of ice at people, it doesn't actually freeze them.

I feel like Eggman is either too smart or too proud to let a machine do the thinking for him. Don't think we can hope for an easy research boost that way.

Having said that, we do already have an honestly brilliant scientist in our employ already. Starline's a tool, but the guy is legit.

We could try pulling some badniks from that other quest on site.

You know the one by undead frog where Eggman made an A.I to help with logistics.

Point. We are lacking in Actions yes but not bonuses.

It might actually be worth it to let Starline do some independent research. The guy found ways to give people super powers and created super soldiers on the level of Sonic protagonists.

There's the option to let him research the Warp Topaz in the Mystics category.

Also maybe when we have a breather we can use him to help research Ragnite, Canan has a similar Trickery level and is a low action and even if that annoying trait of his activate still required a low dice roll thanks to Eggman stats alone. He probably be happy to serve as a assistant.

Thinking about it.

There is one old project from the E-100 series we could go back to.

But that would mean crushing a Chaos Emerald or finding a new way to sustain them.

Still it is one of the only E-100 series I would be willing to vouch for.

Wait that's why everyone keeps putting him on people watching?
yeah, I'm pretty sure they're trying to find the people he turned into Surge (speedster with lightning poweres) and Kitsunami (tech guy with water powers). who he intended to turn into hero's under his control to replace sonic and tails, but then they built up a resistance to his hypnosis glove and turned on him.
