Okay, believe it or not when I looked through the rival reports two factions enter my consideration for mystic: 1. Captain Metal, because it would be hilariously ironic if a Robotnik robot from Pre-SGW Archie became the mystic prince of Green Hills.

2. Taokaka or Kotata possibly with friends or family.
Consider this: there is someone in Green Hills that we've already seen do magic, but we all dismissed. Elizabeth of the Velvet Room.

Problem with elizabeth being that faction, velvet room/persona aint here only elizabeth, and smt doesnt count since smt and persona play by different rules, and elizabeth from what we can tell is from an ending where she left their employment, elizabeth here does not represent the enitrety of the velvet room, she's an ex employee of theirs

Omega Inflticing 2 HP in normal victory.

We have been told that's not what happened by the QMs. Omega dealt two damage due to how much his roll beat Rusty's.

To quote ShephardCom

And yeah, Omega normally only does 1 hp if he wins, just he absolutely Crushed Rusty in their match

Im still confused why the plans have the Pronghorn Sisters talk to Starline. They have a higher chance to get a trait with Canaan since they rolled a 70 with her back at turn 5 with a omake bonus.

Soberan has said on the Discord that he thinks that Starline bonding with a hero unit will weaken his Smartest in the Room trait and wants to use the Pronghorns for that because they got ice cream with him way back in Turn 3. I think it's more likely to result in an adventure trait myself, so I would also prefer Canaan. That's what's been the result pretty consistently.

You know that does make some sense, as that was probably one of the few positive, non-Eggman-related things to happen to him in a while I think. Although I think we should also put him with another really smart hero, interacting with people just as, if not smarter, could also help with weakening that trait (preferably those who aren't insane and/or not so evil for a smart-yet-not evil view for Starline to witness).

(Pretty sure if we recruited Snively and had the two talk Starline wouldn't have much respect for him........and if we were to recruit Grimer........Starline would probably be absolutely disgusted, maybe even have a "Come to Jesus" moment or something).

Starline: "...I think I need to repent for my sins."

Grimer, genuinely: "If that's what you feel, I will not stop you."

Starline: "...You are weirdly polite for a horrible war criminal."

Grimer: "Why thank you."
Grimer did nothing wrong, except for building super weapons for the devil in his setting, building killer robots for the devil in his setting, building torture devices for the devil in his setting and working to maintain the system of oppression for the devil in his setting.

Okay so he did a lot wrong.

Yet he still did have his limits.

It just so happens that he drew the line at destroying the planet out of spite for Sonic.

At that point Grimer did one of the few sensible things he's done, and quit. Can't commit no war crimes if there's no world left to commit them on.

Finally got around to reading this and I liked it more than I thought I would. It had been framed as a shipping omake so, while I still don't ship it (I'm generally not a shippy person), I do appreciate how it had stuff outside of just that.

It showed off Piastol's own drives. It referenced other characters and not just the people on the adventure. A little vain of me, but I especially appreciate that you referenced Catfight, since you had a good way to make it relevant to Piastol's character.

It wasn't pushing them together, it was giving them a reason to deepen a bond, even if slanted towards romantic.

Still don't ship it, probably won't! Enjoyed the omake regardless.

See I find it weird because Omega did not roll a Nat 100 nor a critical suscess case contratry they would inform us of such.

Rusty roll a 97 while Omega roll a 160, he would need to roll 194 to be a critical suscess against Rusty.

Pal, a adventure trait is a crytaslization the bond Heroes have with one another.

One is not exclusive of the other.

I really don't see what is the problem the Sisters hang out with Starline.

I quoted one of the QMs. He said that Omega did that much damage because of how much he won by. I don't think we can get any more clear cut than that.

For Starline and the sisters, I just don't think it's going to give you the result you want. I'm not arguing against trying it though, that's why I didn't say anything on it when I gave plan feedback.

yeah its solidly a pre relationship omake
they arnt even close to getting together yet
but the attraction is there
glad you liked it

My two cents on this is that Starline is....not a pleasant person. Clove and Cassia aren't exactly his kind of people like Stone or Thunderbolt are so the chances of getting a trait are probably lower than others.

I just want to give a try and we have to start somewhere, keep ignoring him would not change his character.

And currently only them and Belle want to speak with Starline. Canaan PA is too unreliable if would pick him or not.

Besides QMs said him and Stone are sorta frieds and he does lsiten to his advice on the occasion and it did change him how he acts around the doctor a little.

I never said it would be one fell swoop but it must start from somewhere.

Besides you never know when Starline and the Sisters need to go in a adventure toghter since he is really useful.

I mean we don't have his sheet do we? Could be a trait that lets him do more damage if he betas a roll by 50% or more. Or if he beats a eggman robot. Also does omega identify s he? Genuinely do not know

Thanks for the feedback, glad I got the characters down good, considering I haven't read any of the Archie comics or played Skies of Arcadia. And yeah I definitely wanted them to at least build a foundation for a future relationship.

I definitely see them being close friends at the very least, given the parallels that could be made between them (that I see at least, something I'm putting some focus on for a follow up from Clove's POV), with romance at the best.

For Piastol, given her aloof-loner energy (and her get stronger side drive) I felt she'd hate having to sit back and rest, and especially be jealous of Connie being able to have a spar with Honey not even 2 - 3 days after being shot.

Clove on the other hand, I wanted her to have a "Bedside Manner" approach mixed with 25% guilt and another 25% of empathy, and tried working my way up to the two of them "breaking the ice" so to speak.

Definitely want to make more for these two, if I can at least make them close-friends I'll consider it a partial success :) Definitely aiming higher though.

So long as the dice gods favor us, we could get trait for them, if we somehow snag a 100, then we got good odds of Starline having some introspection perhaps.

He's not being ignored, please do not take me saying I think he's more likely to get an adventure trait as such. Nor should Fleightfire pointing out that he genuinely would be someone hard to connect with be taken as such. That's us disagreeing with you about the direction we expect this to go.

Turns 1-3 he was doing things. 4, he had to heal. 6, he got the pyramid. 5 was the only turn he had off. As our action cap expands, we're going to be using him more. His trait is about ego. He's going to learn from success and from failure as we use him.

Hahaha, I'm not familiar with either character's source material either. But you still gave Piastol a drive that was underlying a lot of her PoV, which helped with her characterization.

They were generals of their Eggman, Starline would at least be curious how that came to be not to say the Sister did help him to get him and them out of trouble by basically bribing Eggman. So he kinda own them.

Also he did take a Power Action to reclaim the Pyramid and well who lnows maybe he want to brush his strategic mind.

Update from Discord, apparently the QMs discuss and figure the DC to rescue Miku and the siblings have been raised to 130/170 sicne they feel it was too low

Please use the correct explanation.

We just didn0't raise it cause we felt it was too low, we discussed and the dc didn't fit with how hard ti would be, you don't know where miku or the hedgehogs are being kept or the layout of the place, this is an infitlration going totally in blind. at least Chuck gave you all the info needed to make it easier, so theres a reason for why DC wasn't higher

Rescue Miku and the Hedgehogs
DC: 130/170 (DC RAISED for unkown reasons)
Badnik cap: 20 Trickery Bonuses only
Stone has discovered and gotten the coordinates of a trio stuck in a despot's dungeons. You would have little reason to care, but they claim to have information on other potential enemies. It COULD be useful...
Reward: Rescue Miku and the Hedgehogs, gain valuable intel on a few Kings
