Most of the E-100's are kinda... bad. We may have to upgrade them when they get here. New AI, free the birds inside, new weapons.... the works!

Would E-100 Squad treat Omega like big brother or younger brother?

I know nothing about Sonic timeline FYI.

as far as I can tell, it's just 4 of them (Beta, Zeta, Delta and Epsilon)
Those 4 are just the ones we see in Sonic Adventure. There is also the ones mentioned in the Archie Comics (Post and Pre-reboot), Sonic X and IDW. All of them are based on the Roman Alphabet (Alpha to Omega. But for the ones we actually SEE? I'll be going off the Wiki, using IDW, and Archie (Both timelines)

E-100 "Alpha" AKA Zero
E-101 "Beta"
E-102 "Gamma"
E-103 "Delta"
E-104 "Epsilon"
E-105 "Zeta" looks different in Pre-Reboot Archie
E-106 "Eta" (looks different in Post-Reboot Archie and IDW)
E-107 "Theta"
E-108 "Iota"
E-109 "Kappa"
E-110 "Lambda"
E-111 "Mu" is unseen/destroyed
E-112 "Nu" is unseen/destroyed
E-113 "Xi" Seen in post-reboot Archie
E-114 "Omicron" is unseen/destroyed
E-115 "Pi" is unseen/Destroyed (We do see a vision of Phi in Sonic Battle, based on Emerl)
E-116 "Rho" is unseen/Destroyed
E-117 "Sigma" seen in IDW
E-118 "Tau" Seen in IDW and Archie
E-119 "Upsilon" is unseen
E-120 "Phi" is unseen
E-121 "Chi" is unseen
E-122 "Psi" is unseen
E-123 "Omega"....we all know our favorite walking armory.

Oddly, According to the wiki, the Egg Keeper is considered part of the E-100 series.
Gamma was so successful, Eggman created the E-1000 model Badniks....and then the E-2000.
In Sonic Battle, Eggman also created Chaos Gamma.

And for any of these that have been destroyed the timeline is screwy and there is precedent for dead characters to show up alive and well

That is interesting that there isn't an action specifically dedicated to that isn't it.

QM makes spooky motions with his hands.
I hypothesize that previous turn was because we were too busy with our territory to worry about him, and the reason why there is no mention of finding him in the next turn is because Segata fell right on top of him after the space station incident and he died from lack of a Sega Saturn.

Also I want to say if we mass produce Sega Saturns, we should input a kill switch to use in case we ever need to send Segata after someone. Just brick every console we sold to that king. They work fine and protect them until we decide we want to screw them over.

Bedside Manner

This was pretty fun to write, and it may not be the best I've done I feel pretty good about it. Definitely want to write a follow up from Clove's POV, but for now here this is:

Piastol felt like shit

This was the first thought Piastol had as her mind returned to a state loosely considered lucid.

Her body was racked by a sore throbbing, accompanied by pain, she wasn't exactly debilitated, but moving would be a challenge and require a bit of effort in her part. Her mouth felt dry, and tasted like she hadn't opened it for an extended amount of time.

Where had she been before? Piastol had a hard time remembering as she strained, her mind was blanketed in a thick foggy haze tinted with confusion, thinking and remembering were tasks akin to trying to trudge through a murky swamp with muck and swamp water at waist-level. Yet she trudged on through the foggy-murky depths of her mind, hoping to figure out what led her to her current situation.

She…….she was…….she and some others…….a mission..yes there was a mission.….to-something…they….they had flown on her ship….the avenger to a place with starting with "To"…….

…..yes, she had it……she and her coworkers were…….they were on a rescue mission…..they tracked their target down, and.....

....then…….then……………..then they-

"Death is the fate of all living things!"

A scythe of the purest silver she'd ever seen was raised.

"Resistance is foolish!"

A wave of green rushes towards her, the impact tosses her across the battlefield as DEATH races through her being, threatening to extinguish her life.

A figure rushes towards her, a shout, a hand reaching out to her-

A tiny hiss barely escapes Piastol's mouth as her body attempts to jolt at what was a light touch, which raises the pain she feels by more than just a throb to an angry searing that would send mist into unconsciousness, yet for Piastol it was somewhat debilitating.

Not that it made this any better, she could hardly move…..she was vulnerable, Piastol didn't like being vulnerable……she was the Angel of Death, a harbinger of oblivion to scores of pirates and vagabonds, she couldn't afford to be weak.

Yet the pain helped Piastol shrug off enough of the haze for more higher functions and thoughts, such as the idea to open her eyes.

A dull, blurry image of greys and whites greeted her before her vision cleared somewhat.

A white ceiling that appeared gray, dotted a shamrock green curtain draped around the bed she found herself lying on, an IV drip in her veins. A low growl that alerted her to the prone form of her Death Hound at the foot of her bed.

These were what greeted Piastol before she turned to left to where she was touched.

Sitting a few feet away was none other than Clove, one of her colleagues who had been on the mission with her.

"Clove?"

"Sorry" the Pronghorn retracted her hand "You seemed restless….at least now you've woken up."

Piastol nodded, mostly out of instinct, taking in how dim the room was, though it was light enough she make out most of Clove's features.

"....I'm guessing we're in the Medical Bay, right?"

"Correct" Clove nodded. "Before anything else…….what do you remember of our mission?" Clove asked. To which the Bounty Hunter replied with the short summary she had remembered earlier, the most trouble she had coming from her near death experience with the Rider, where she noticed Clove grimace.

"After you fell unconscious, the rest of our squad managed to eliminate both the Rider and Goji's honor guard, all except for the Oni, who fled after the Rider was eliminated…..needless to say our mission was a success, we extracted with Canaan's….partner…" Clove paused as her cheeks turned a darker shade that vanished after the Mobian shook herself "......not too mention we were able to recruit from some of the more technologically adept of Tokyo-to's gangs."

"....and what about me?....." Piastol asked

"You've been out for about a week…." Clove answered, though her face shifted to an expression Piastol hadn't seen before on the Mobian, she couldn't exactly make out what it was due to the dim lighting, before it became unreadable.

"After the attack, I stabilized you as best as I could. you didn't lose too much blood, but you did receive both major and minor bruising from the Oni, yet the worst of your injuries was from the Death Magic of the Pale Rider. Our newest colleague Yahna looked at you as you were examined by the Doctor." Clove's gaze seemed to harden before speaking again "From both Yahna's input and the results from the Doctor, had it been anyone else, they'd have already been dead before you hit the ground…..given your fitness and your affinity for both life and death magic, perhaps that is what saved you." Clove reported.

"Unfortunately, the extent that your body was so servers that it'll be a while before you are in any condition close to combat ready, without cybridization. We estimate you'll need a few months of recovery still."

A pained but also annoyed grunt passed Piastol's lips. "Are you serious?"

"Very much. You being awake is a risk as is, you."

"I've already been 'resting' for a full week!" Piastol snapped "Why should I need more rest. Surely the doctor has some pain relievers-" Piastol would've continued had Clive not level a stare at her.

"There's a difference between genuine rest, and being comatose. And if you try to push yourself too soon, you may exacerbate the damage you took."

"Yet Conquering Storm-"

"Shouldn't even be out right now, let alone sparring with Honey." Clove cut in "And being shot is perhaps not equal to being hit with Death Magic, something you should know better than the rest of us."

Piastol went to open her mouth, but closed it not long after, she did, in fact, know the severity of Death Magic and just how lucky she'd been that the amount she had taken hadn't killed her, as not many could stand it even from her world.

Seeing her understanding, Clove's face softened, unconsciously leaning towards the Bounty Hunter "If you're worried about boredom, I'm sure Belle will find time to meet with you, she was especially worried about you…..as…..as was I." Clove admitted.

"You?" Piastol asked "I….you're concern……while misguided…….is appreciated…..but we hardly know each other." The gears in the pirate hunter's mind began to turn, perhaps she worried more so about what her death would do to the girl rather than Piastol herself.

"Yes…..but we are still colleagues, and I'd rather not lose any of my people or those following my lead if it can be helped, if casualties can be avoided then they shall be."

"But-"

"Canaan may have been 'leading' so to speak, but I was in charge of planning and guiding us through Tokyo-to quick enough to grab our target and leave……yet, each step of the way we drew attention and targets on our backs…….had I been more cautious……perhaps advocated more for more stealth, then at the very least we wouldn't have been as caught off-guard or tired by the time we fought those things."

"If we didn't fight all those men and destroy those towers before, we would've had to do so later. Just as I said before." Piastol reminded the Egg-boss "And it worked out in the end didn't it? We escaped, managed to weaken Gouji's defenses, and scooped up new talent, something I'm sure the Doctor is pleased with yes?"

".......I admit that the Doctor believes that these "Noise Tanks" could prove their worth, specifically through opening up a new source of income for us." Piastol cocked her head slightly. The idea that money of all things was a concern to the Doctor was slightly comical, given that the one time they had the chance to "buy" something was months ago, and according to Canaan, she, Stone, and Starline simply stole the object instead.

"Actually……if anything, perhaps this was good for me…….." Clove stiffened at Piastole's comment, "It shows how much more training I really need if I want to keep up with the bigger threats of the world……reaching that may take a bit however." Piastol sighed "As once I finish healing, I'll have to train back up to where I was before and shake off the rust."

While the Bounty Hunter figured she wouldn't have to make up for much of her training, it would still be annoying to return to her full strength. Perhaps if she had someone to help-

"Piastol" The bounty hunter's eyes flicked back towards the Pronghorn, "If you'd like……." Clove paused a moment for reasons beyond Piastol's current understanding "....considering that we both use Scythes…….I'd like to offer the chance for us to…….spar together." Clove finally finished her offer. "At least to help you reach your full strength again."

Piastol was silent for a minute as she thought on Clove's offer, she wasn't exactly used to training with another, and she could hardly remember when she last Sparred with anyone. Yet, she found herself favoring the idea of training with Clove, for as little as they talked, something in the girl wanted for the chance to get closer to her usually distant coworker.

"I-" Piastol found her mouth go dry, she had to shut her eyes for a moment to regain her footing (and hoping the warmth she felt on her checks wasn't a blush) "-I would lo-like to take you up on that." Piastol agreed. "It's not often I meet another who uses the Scythe."

Clove leaned closer once again, and now Piastol had a clearer look view of her face, her normally well-kept fur seemed somewhat messy, what looked to be bags lingered around the Mobian's eyes, yet as Piastol finished speaking she witnessed what she believed to be a rather warm smile from the Mobian, the warmest she'd seen from her, different from the small, professional smiles she'd give in passing or on missions with the others.

"Yes, not that I'd blame most for hesitating with the scythe, it's a hard weapon to master, to know to wield one says much about the one that can wield it with ease……" Clove trailed off as she heard a door open nearby, accompanied by quick footsteps and slightly-mechanical breathing.

The curtain moved open quickly, yet by then Clove had leaned back to her spot, her smile replaced by her usually neutral expression. However a ghost of that smile briefly emerged at the sight of Belle.

"Piastol!!" Belle cried happily, and then faster than the human could track she was beside her bed with a joyful and watery expression (how the Doctor gave her tear glands was beyond most). "I just heard you woke up! I'm…..nuts, I'm happy your okay……you are okay right? She's going to be fine right?!" Belle turned to Clove for an answer, who calmly nodded in response. "Yes, but do be careful Belle, Piastol still needs time to recover."

"Oh, right." Belle became more subdued at that.

Clove began to rise from her spot "I'll let you two speak, I have to go see my sister anyway……and Piastol." Clove paused as ".....pl-.....I'll be waiting for you……on the matt." Clove was out of sight as soon as she spoke, leaving the two friends confused.

"Its sparring!" Piastol replied more defensively than she'd have liked to "Clove wants to spar with me when I recover, that's all."

"Huh" Belle nodded "Okay then." She refocused on her friend "I was really worried, everyone else was too I'm sure…..and especially Clove….and Maria was sorry too about you getting hurt for her, and she's super fun to be around-"

"As long as she made it out fine, that's what matters." Piastol replied coolly. "Besides, I have Clove to thank for keeping my condition stable apparently."

Belle blinked for a second, "Uh, yeah…..stabilized, that's…..you, you know she took one of that secret skeleton guy's attacks for you right?" Belle inquired

Piastol winced as her body throbbed at the speed she turned back to Belle "She what?"

"She didn't tell you? After you fell, Clove spent the rest of the fight by your side……so that you wouldn't get anymore hurt…….the skeleton guy did some big magic attack too that hit everyone, and even then she wouldn't budge…….I was just as worried for her as I was you, it looked like it hurt a lot…..but even then she wouldn't budge, she just clung to you harder." Belle finished "And she hovered over you for the whole ride back to……I didn't think you two were that close before." Belle commented.

When the Tinker looked back towards Piastol, she had a thoughtful look on her face as she glanced towards the spot Clove was, where numerous empty snack bags, some soda cans were nearly overflowing out of a small trash bin, and on her chair was a shamrock green pillow, with the indent of what seemed like the shape of Clove's head.

"......neither did I….." Piastol murmured, a weird-yet-warm feeling having settled into her core, that for a moment seemed to blot out all but the worst of her pain.
