[1] Angel's Eye (Small & New)
[2] Liquid Horizon (Archeology & Magic Development)
[3] Sylph Symphony (Artifact Creation)
[4] Lion's Pride (Large & General)
Angel's for amusement and character drama, Liquid or Sylph for actual utility. Honestly fine with anything other than the rather dull-seeming Lion's. (I mean, I'm quite sure Alivaril could make it interesting, but why start with the handicap?)

General introduction here is definitely worthwhile either way, though.

Y'all motherfuckers are going to split between the [_][number] version and the [number] versions and make me count this shit by hand, aren't you? :p

Oh, well. My own fault for not realizing the forum tally's limitations. Thank goodness for Excel.

The feature was added to tally program a couple months ago.

. . . I really wish you'd told me that half an hour ago lol. At least it's good to know going forward, I suppose.

I just know that not everybody will see the altered instructions, so we'll stick with the one-number-in-box and I'll rely on a non-built-in tally or doing it by hand.

Only noticed after checking the vote tally, unfortunately. Thought process basically went "why dis not work?", then ran a forum search.

I am really on the fence between Sylph Symphony and Liquid Horizon. I've already swapped them twice, in fact.

In other news, I find it highly ironic that the big cat Guild appears to be the least popular option in a catgirl quest. :V

Well, that's obvious. Most cats aren't social by nature, and Blake can't become Big Cat in a guild that already has a Big Cat.

Honestly, while I don't really understand the distaste for a character driven group, I do respect that other people have differing priorities and the warlock teacher is what seals the AE deal for me.

[1] Angel's Eye (Small & New)
Smaller generally means closer knit so better for making friends, plus access to a semi-trustworthy Warlock and the Messenger sounds interesting and the Jack of all trades should be helpful for learning basic magic in a wider variety. There's also no reason to think they won't be doing any exploring since they're both unspecialized and small enough that having someone with way better odds of finding stuff might shift their strategy.

[2] Liquid Horizon (Archeology & Magic Development)
As mentioned, we've got a great set of skills for archeology, though we could probably put those to use elsewhere as well.

[3] Sylph Symphony (Artifact Creation)
We can get most of the short term benefits just by attending their classes

[4] Lion's Pride (Large & General)
Generalists ain't shit.

No real reason to put it off as far as I can tell.

It really wouldn't. Fairy Tales aren't letting RWBY through the front door.
RWBY already invited fairy tales through the window.

Ah, I'll take that intent into account, but people should know that a normal
without sub-options (and without telling me otherwise) is being generally counted toward "after joining a Guild, and without investigation of the voices as an interfering priority."

I don't really think people will vote no, and I don't know on the subvote, so i'll abstain from that part.

Well, here's that version as well, which I assume makes it easier?

I probably can't get everyone to adopt that, but it might help, yeah. Nice idea!

If you'll all excuse me, I'm going to go double-check my dice tables and make sure there won't be another Agneyastra/Princess Incident. I can already tell they'll be needed even if Liquid Horizon doesn't win. :p

On second thought, switching my vote. I think Angel's Eye might help Blake's combat abilities more in the short term, and I'd still like to talk to them about the dream voices, but Liquid Horizon's archeology focus is such a great match for MGLN that I can't pass it up. Anything Blake brings from there will immediately get their attention; the entire plane is practically a treasure trove of Lost tech and magic.

An established, exploration-type Guild would also be lot more accommodating towards Blake disappearing for weeks at a time, or moving around a lot so she can establish land bonds. That kind of behavior doesn't fit nearly as well with a new, tiny Guild.
