Theater Witch 2 | Starlight Breaker
You continue to stare in horror for a few moments, your mind struggling to deal with the overwhelming size of the Witch, before you slam you emotions back into their respective corners.

You need to focus.

The world seems to slow down as you review the battlefield...that Cosplayer Magus is in here somewhere, and you need to find a good position to fight from...

Your gaze zeroes in on a rooftop a modest distance from the Witch. It looks fairly stable, but is high enough to give you a good view of the battlefield. If you had your arsenal, it would be a good place to coordinate helicopters from, but it should work as a viewing platform for now, while you figure out how to hit this thing best. It also provides the line of sight you'll need for Magic Blast.

As for the strange Cosplayer...you can't see her, but you can detect a strange magical signature near the Witch. It's not how a Puella Magus should feel, but it's also nothing like a Witch...hopefully, that doesn't mean she's an enemy, but you steel yourself to put her down if you have to.

Next to you, Kyouko has likewise recovered, and seems to be prepping for an attack. Her spear is gaining a deep red glow as she enchants it, glaring towards the gigantic Witch, "Hey, Ribbons? You got anything good to hit this guy with?"

You shake your head, "Nothing. My only weapon is my shield. I could attempt a direct attack with magic, but I haven't developed that particular power greatly. However..."

You turn your Shield, activating Time Stop and moving to Kyouko's other side. You carefully lay a hand on her shoulder, wary of the spear.

She gasps aloud and spins to face you, "Wait, you're a Teleporter?! Nice! We can work with this! I'll go get a-uh, why's everything grey?"

You smirk slightly. Time Stop is one thing you've mastered the use of, and your more than a little proud of you strongest ability, "I possess the power to stop time. We are presently the only active beings within this barrier...well, we should be, at least. I've seen a couple of things that could remain active here, but they are quite rare."

With that, you deactivate Time Stop. There's no point in generating extra Corruption, "The important thing to remember in Time Stop, however, is that anything you touch joins it...excepting the ground, and...don't think about it too much. Don't maintain prolonged contact with anything dangerous while in Time Stop, or you'll be vulnerable. Also, don't lose contact with me, or you'll fall out of it and be frozen too. If you have something we could tie ourselves together with, that would be easier..."

She stares wide eyed at you, "Time Stop. You're a fuckin' Time Magus?!"

You sigh. You've heard this before. It's not your fault that other Magi with Temporal abilities are known to rapidly go insane. The power itself is dangerous, and Time Stop is one of the safest forms...actual Time Travel, such as your looping, is far more stressful on the mind. Precognition is also quite straining, due to the sheer number of possible outcomes that one has to process, not to mention the pressure that comes with knowing the future...

You turn your mind away from the topic, "Yes. No, I am not going to go insane at any second. It is under control. Can we please focus on the Witch?"

She slowly nods, "Uh...yeah, sure. Witch. Giant Witch. Fuck. Uh...how about we get a good look around before we attack it? If you can stop time, of all things, then maybe we can find a way to take it down quickly...

"Yes. This way."

With that, you lead her to the rooftop you spotted earlier. The Witch seems to be facing away from you, fortunately, giving you a clear shot at its back...you blink as the entire Barrier seems to flicker for a split second.

Looking for the source of the distrubance, you spot the girl in white, who is...floating in midair...directly in front of the Witch. Her costume's first rate, and she has her replica of Raising Heart pointed at the Witch...and it's glowing. A sphere of energy has formed at the tip, and you can feel it drawing energy straight from the Witch Barrier.

Actually, now that you think about it, that looks a lot like...

You grab Kyouko, dragging her out of the blast radius as fast as possible.

Behind you, you can hear a familiar mechanical voice speaking, "Starlight Breaker."

You turn to stare as a sudden wave of magic is pulled in by the Device...and then you hear a loud scream tearing its way out of the girl in white's throat. The large sphere of pink energy in front of her is twisting before your eyes, distorting into a vague, shadowy form. Slowly, a mask appears among those shadows...the face of a newly created familiar.

On the ground, the girl in white is still screaming, scrambling away from the strange familiar as she fumbles for her staff.

Kyouko's already on her feet, her gaze flicking between the Witch, the Familiar, and the girl as she tries to decide what to do.

You only hesitate for a moment, before you...

Poor Nanoha doesn't know how to handle Witches...otherwise, she'd have been more careful about trying to channel part of its Barrier into her attack.

-[X] Keep an eye on your surroundings at all times and be careful of the witch´s attacks, be ready to use Shield of Protection if something happens.
-[X] Check her with your magic and help her calm down, you of all people know just how taxing fighting witches is, does she need to be healed? can she keep fighting? see if you can get her name, you have your theories but it would be better if she confirmed it.

Oh no, im not upset im actually grinning so wide that my cheeks are starting to hurt, this is the Game that the witch designed, a contest of wits and skill! i am going to enjoy the hell out of it!
Noting that even if we explicitly can't enchant people for some reason (which sounds unlikely to me), we still should try at some point as we lose little and may gain a boost to Magic Theory.
Magic is unstable and dangerous, to be a magus is to walk with death, we have to be really careful when experimenting with it, regardless i agree, we should conduct some experiments when we have time.

Enchanting people is different than enchanting objects. Try to get to precise, and you risk causing major disasters (boost the muscles, crush the bones, for example).

You can boost a person's speed and strength safely, but only one layer of enchantment can be applied for now. More esoteric efftects escape you for the moment, but you can eventually develop much more advanced skills in enchantment, if you spend time on it.

In that case we should try and experiment on animals first. In theory the principles should be the same, and we boost our Magic Theory by trying.

Madoka enchanted Moemura to run faster in the drama CD. Her legs went berserk and she smashed into a wall at high speed.

Explore the possibility IC, if you want to find out...Homura doesn't know of a way at the moment, but if that doesn't mean it can't be done.

2. We are not Sayaka. We have no healing powers. Apparently, we actually do have healing powers.
3. We already know what went wrong IC. The girl in cosplay tried to channel the witch's magic into her attack, but instead concentrated it until it became a familiar.

2. Ascertain if she needs medical attention, if we need to cart her out and if she can keep fighting against the witch
3. Do we? IC i mean? something else could have happened apart from that, like Magical Corruption etc.

Just going to confirm this for Renascence Canon:

Most Magi (including Homura) can heal. Specialists are just magnitudes better at it than others.
