Renascence: A Homura Quest

Honorifics or Western-style Titles? I've used both before, which is bothersomely inconsistent

Hm....

If we don't acquire the Homura Akemi's grandfather clock this loop, we won't get a chance to do so next loop.

Every person has their price, and the owner of the shop definitely has a price for that clock.

Presently, you'll be letting it out while trying to conceal your nature as a Magus, and will be ready to intervene if necessary.

As for remembering things, I'll put up Memory Access Files about Kyouko in the update.

Sorry I'm late today. I've been busy dealing with conversations in Adfligo.

Votes locked. Writing.

This may take a while, because of the Memory Access Files.

While I work on that...

Most people have a price, and the owner of the shop definitely has a price for that clock.

Whether it's an amount of money, however, is still unknown. And no, I will not immediately answer any Blues about the nature of what "price" he will insist on.

Dance-off
You pale slightly as you hear Sayaka start snapping back at the redhead, "Fine! I'll show you!"

You quickly deactivate your heart enchantment...that should be okay, for a couple of minutes, you hope...and slip your Ring into your pocket, reverting it into its Gem form as you do so.

You approach the DDR machine with trepidation, 'Sayaka...what are you doing now? Do you want to get stabbed?"

You find Sayaka already engaged in a furious dance off with Kyouko. As many glares as they exchange, they seem to be having a good time with it.

Nearby, you find another young girl staring at Sayaka in...admiration? Yes, that sounds right. You look at her, "What happened?"

She glances at you, blushing slightly, "What? Oh, um...I had just lost to the red girl over there, and she was trash talking me...I just wanted to have some fun, she didn't have to be quite so competitive about it all. Well, I was...uh...I was almost in tears, okay?! Then all the sudden, blue girl there is in front of me, and they're filling the room with dramatic tension and expansive hand gestures. Next thing I know, she's up there taking her on herself. She actually stood up for me, saved me, you know? Pretty cool, these days. Pretty rare, too."

You sigh, "Also very reckless. That girl is going to get herself really hurt at this rate. Well, at least it's just DDR this time..."

You watch the match for a while. Kyouko's leading hard, not doubt about that. She's faster, stronger, and...yep, that's an enchantment. She's actually superhuman right now. Sayaka isn't likely to win this.

You suppose you COULD give her a boost too, but that would expose you as a Magus...probably not worth it. The other option would be taking the next match, enchanting yourself, and trying to beat Kyouko. She'll know you're a Magus, but Sayaka won't...hmm.

You figure that letting Sayaka take the loss is probably for the best, but this could be a good way to make contact with Kyouko...you're not in her territory, and she's in a good mood. You might even be able to befriend her with a little work...

Sorry about the slow day, guys. Hopefully tomorrow won't be.

I'll fill in the Memory Access then too, but I'm close to dozing off, so I'm stopping here for tonight.

Don't worry, I'll give you some extra time after the memory access is revealed, if you want to adjust votes, but your metaknowledge is valid generally. Only the details will be new once I post it.

I don't think anything will be seriously lost if we don't intervene. Just a game and all. Cheer on Sayaka, win or loss.

The real decision is if we want to contact Kyouko right now or not. It isn't her territory, but likewise she'll know it's Mami's and wonder what we're doing here. I don't remember enough of her from canon to say what the best approach is if we do want to go for a 'hello'.

You're right. We should just
[x]Enchant Sayaka

Edit: Actually, no. Instead
[x]Duel Kyouko yourself

We shall be the local celebrity DDR goddess Akemi.

[X] Do nothing.
-[X] Cheer Sayaka on, win or lose. If she's upset, mention that the girl she helped doesn't care that she lost.
-[X] Congratulate Kyouko when she wins. Tell her that you were impressed by how seriously she played (disguised guilt trip intended).
