A strange combination of eastern and western styles, two stories tall with decorative crescent moons atop it.

Jii-chan

However young she was, Homura knew Jii-chan wasn't the most fit person in the world. Heart problems were something shared across her family, and Jii-chan was amazing because he'd carried on and lived a long life despite them. So when she woke up one day and found him laying down on a bed right next to hers, she was worried.

"It's alright Homura." Jii-chan was always smiling, never being anything but Homura's invincible grandfather, even here. "I'm just a bit tired now. You should go to sleep. When you wake up, the doctors will give us both the medicine we need and we'll see what you've learned. Do you still have the watch?"

Homura nodded excitedly, smiling and the thought. "Y-yes! I've been practicing, a-and I can do it now, just like you said!" The watch was a comforting presence right under her pillow.

A hoarse laugh. "I told you you could do it. Now, go to sleep little Homura. Everything will be fine." A nod before the girl laid baack down. It was only a few minutes before he heard contented snoring. Forgive me, Homura.
----

It was a brand new day, and Homura had never felt better! Today she could show Jii-chan how much she'd learned, maybe one day she'd be a watchmaker herself once she got out of the hospital! At least, once Jii-chan woke up, but she could be patient.

So she waited, but Jii-chan stayed asleep. This wouldn't do at all! Homura walked up to her grandfather's bed.

"Jii-chan, it's morning! It's time to wake up!"
No answer.

"Jii-chan, you're not supposed to sleep this late! And you're all cold now, didn't you keep your blanket on?"
Nothing.

"Jii-chan, come on! The Doctors will have your medicine soon, and then we're gonna play together! I wanna show you everything! And one day I'm gonna be a watchmaker like you!"
Still nothing.

"...... Jii-chan?"

Presently you'll be going everywhere, starting with Yuuko's shop.

Was refering to Rabbit's "Are we gonna hunt for feathers and restore our memories?". Tsubasa Chronicles.

Again, don't mind me. It was a bad comparison.
Hm, it can be tricky but dont worry, im plotting a few ways we could do that, one of them include Yuka´s shop as a matter of fact, with it being an interdimenisonal space it could be inmune to the loops ya know? we just have to be really careful when dealing with the owner, i suggest working a deal where we do her favors.

Shopping 2 | Yuuko's Shop
You regard the strange shop with a wary gaze, 'What is going on here? That shop shouldn't exist...I haven't had a chance to alter enough that a building could be built. It's only been one day. Perhaps I somehow have missed it in past loops...? No, that's improbable. Regardless...I need to find out what's going on. If something can change the world so violently, perhaps it can change the outcome of this loop.'

You turn to Mrs. Miki, "M-maybe that shop over there? The one with the crescent moons?"

She blinks, "Crescent...wait...there's no shop like that."

You point at it, and her gaze follows, "There's..." She blinks, "Wait, that's not supposed to...I guess I just forgot about it. Are you sure you want to go there?"

"Yes."

Sayaka immediately grabs your hand, "Heh, first time I've seen you so sure about something. Alright then, let's go!"

With that, she drags you over to the building, her mother chuckling as she follows.

You soon cross the threshold of the yard and...your feet are moving on their own.

Sayaka, meanwhile, is running ahead, oblivious to the compulsion place on her. Her mother, likewise, seems content to stroll up.

Eventually, you step in the doorway after Sayaka, an are greeted by two smiling children.

"Welcome!" They say in eerie synchronization, "Master's been waiting for you!"

'What.'

Sayaka just stares, "Um...master, you said? You mean the shop keeper?"

They nod in unison, "Right this way!"

You share a wary glance with Sayaka as the elder Miki makes her way inside, completely oblivous to what just happened, "Well, what are you two girls waiting for? You came here to shop, right?"

You nod, and slowly make your way inside.

There, in an ornately furnished and rather dusty room, you find a rather distressing sight, a woman of great beauty, her hair styled intricately to suit her matching kimono, "Welcome. It seems you have finally found this place, child of clocks. In this place, one can find what one needs, and your needs are great, as are those of your companion..." Her gaze flicks to Sayaka.

"So...what is it you require? Anything at all can be granted, but a balanced price must be payed..."

The two girls laugh at that, "Balance! Grief and Hope!"

A shiver goes up your spine, and you immediately prepare to depart. You've never seen a humanoid Incubator before, but...

"...a-anything?" Sayaka is staring at them, eyes wide with desire, "Anything at all?"

'...I almost forgot how stupid she can be. Her mother-!' You turn to the elder Miki for help. She's missing.

You turn to the Incubator, all traces of moe long since cast aside, "Where is she."

The creature smiles serenely, "She simply found something interesting elsewhere. Do not be concerned. No harm will come to her unless she seeks it."

You frown, ready to argue, but Sayaka cuts you off, "Well?! You said anything?"

The woman nods, "Yes. Anything, for a price."

Sayaka nods, and you instantly attempt to transform.

Nothing happens.

Your eyes shoot wide open as you stare at the woman, "What?!"

She simply smiles.

Sayaka opens her mouth, "Then, I want..."

You try to shout at the girl, but your lips won't move.

'She has a need that must be resolved. Neither of you is any danger, except that which you choose to be in.'

You can only watch in horror as Sayaka makes her wish.

"...I want to save him. I want a way to save those who are suffering."

You groan, 'There's that hero complex again.'

The woman smiles, "But are you ready for the price? It's...your humanity. If I grant you this wish, you will no longer be able to live as a human."

'Well, at least this one's up front about it. Just say no, Sayaka.'

The girl hesitates, "...I'll be able to save him? And everyone else?'

The woman shakes her, "No one can save everyone, at least no one short of a goddess, but you will be able to save some. "Him" included...and maybe this girl beside you, as well."

Sayaka frowns, licking her lips, before answering, "Okay. I'll do it."

The woman smiles, and you wait for her to rip out the girl's soul, 'Well, this is going to make things tougher...'

She stands, walks over to a shelf...and picks up a large sword of European design. Turning to Sayaka, she hands it to her, "Then take this. It's only a copy, but...it will grant you the power you need, once you're ready."

With that, she turns to you. Sayaka, however, is confused, "Wait...what? What about the price?"

The Incubator looks back at her briefly, amusement clear on her face, "Don't concern yourself, wielding that sword IS the price...a heavy one, but so was your wish."

With that, she turn to you, "...and you, Akemi Homura? What is your wish? What do you need in order to achieve your goal?"

Your eyes are wide as you here her words. She didn't take Sayaka's soul. She's offering you a Contract. She seems to feel emotion.

This woman isn't an Incubator, "What are you?"

She laughs, "You may call me Yuuko. As for what I am...I am a storekeeper. Nothing more matters, for your purposes. Now, what do you need?"
