Ah, hadn't fully realized requires someone to be dead rather than just getting access to enough DNA, willingly or through acquiring it somehow.
Yeah, just this last update, the "you can be more" moment was about Leizi not giving in to the temptation of allowing Arc to die just so that Project Prometheus can use her power.

Here's the quote from The Inimitable Doctor Mammoth Ibis on the topic:
Also, while Valiant Silver's theories about "ontological resonance" are ridiculous, there are enough concerns about negative effects that we should not use DNA profiles of still-living heroes. Likewise, we should not use a particular formula more than once. Can we use a similar formula? Should be within acceptable risk thresholds? Identical? Maybe once for the data, but even I would need to be cautious.

"Yelena—Novalight—left us with nothing. Our finances have been mismanaged for years. We have no allies, no new generation of metahumans in waiting, no equipment to arm our non-powered agents. This organization was wholly dependent on her because she genuinely could not imagine a day would come where she would not be in charge."

He punches a wall and then pulls his fist back, absent-mindedly rubbing his bruised knuckles.

"I . . . I've done everything I can to keep New Dawn above water. Every plan I could think of, every clever strategy, I've maximized our resources again and again and again, but I can't squeeze blood from a stone!"

He pulls his hat off and runs his hand through his hair, turning it messy. "Everyone needs me to keep it together. Everyone needs me to be strong. But I don't know how anymore!"

He looks to you, begging with his eyes, "How do you do it, Lady Leizi? How do you keep going? How do you find hope?"

The massive contrast between Valiant Silver and Novalight here is really striking.

Yelena used New Dawn as a monument to herself, and left Wolong and the others in a hollowed out shell with her absence that they're desperately scrambling to keep from crumbling.

Nora left the keys to absolutely everything to her team; Project Prometheus, the Apiary, EXCEED-BEYOND, and she even got Mendicant nominally allied by letting them use the Apiary as a bolt hole. Everyone contributed to Justice Unlimited, but she really went above and beyond preparing for a future she expected she'd never get to be part of.

Some typos:

"No. My name is Chihrio."
*Chihiro

where Valiant Silver sent off that physic pulse that stopped the Leviathan."
*Psychic

Exactly. And for that crime, we threw in a facility with the likes of monsters like Acid Rain and Stitches
*we threw her in a facility with monsters the likes of Acid Rain and Stitches

Wolong starts at Arc for a long time, balling his fists.
*stares

Algernon means she knew she was gonna die early and leavethe people she loved behind.
So while her self esteem partly relied on her power Nora still knew she needed to prepare for when shes gone.

Novalight seemed to have suffered from ego that she was invincible or atleast could never possibly die. The idea that her fucking up is something that would never possibly happen. thus failing to comprehend thinking like that just lead to tragedies sooner or later.

Girl just failed to survive for when her fuckups finally catch on. Probably for the better cause if novalight was still her I doubt the chance of seriously working together would everbe an option.

Two hour warning. Looks like another blowout!

Assuming no "side quest" missions pop up in place for Mona and Maddie's personal missions, what training are we thinking next turn, ignoring Leizi needing to do Intel work and Hiver because we don't have his stat block?

I think Rhys should do his Gus mission, Mona work on her Reputation more as the shining star, and Maddie could either go Espionage or Operations.

The higher the stat to be trained, the higher the DC. I'd rather have Mona work on her ESP or OP, Rhys on his REP, and Maddie on her HIT since those are pretty low-hanging fruit.

In all honesty, we're extremely fortunate that we can get a Medicant symbiote. I imagine that otherwise voting would be extremely split on who we'd have to temporarily give up.
Yeh we unintenionaly picked missions that not only allowed us to unlock the highest prize jusy speedran through criys but options to male the prize viable.

Afterall we needed:
Recruit and Bring MW to the meeting
Form an Allince with medicant to heal arc
Choose concillitary
Have Powerful Hero to lend a hand for high points.

Really the fact we recruited maddie last turn and then retook apiary this turn were thr best missions to take for forming a new dawn allaince.

While I agree with rhys and Mona. I feel like maddie needs to take power testing nkt for hit but to figure out any tricks with her powers we can use when making plans.

That's only for Leizi? The others training seem to be auto successes in exchange for being limited in number, see how Mona lost her Hit training after she did it.

No worries about that new heroes have a guaranteed +1 training to all stats.

I thinks its because its the new heroes learning how to use their powers i. doing checks other than hit.

except for rep which is probably them learning dos and dont of PR.

It's only for Leizi. Ambrosia heroes can get a guaranteed +1 to any stat and then they hit the Leizi model. Mona lost her hit training because you have to do something special to get to 10.

EDIT: Maddie's young enough I put her on the Ambrosia model. Hiver, if they are recruited, will have higher stats and raise them like LL.

Its why handyman being able to easily get 10 espionage is so wild.

And why I want an operstions spec Power for John to hopefully get another 10

Still, at some point our training focuses should turn towards making everyone some degree of omnicompetent rather than super specialization.
