I'm mostly against another Memoria build tbh since we just did one and there is a non zero chance Phasewalking does in fact allow Yara to teleport others so we'd be building decent overlap fairly fast. We still need more direct powerhouses given we just got arguably our utility P13 set up and frankly Memoria is rough power budget wise compared to tag count.

If we want a build with Teleporting just build a good Nox build and hope Teleporting doesn't fall off as far as I'm concerned.
The problem with a Nox teleportation build is getting access to it is very conditional.

Not necessarily? Nox could potentially use Solferina to induce specific emotions or Eastwood to store certain emotions ahead of time for use just off the top of my head. We absolutely have the options and tools to make Nox far less conditional.

Emotional Fist

Nox (6) + Eastwood (2) + Daggermaw (1)

Nox is a grab bag, but most of his powers lean physical, with teleportation and the blasts being the exceptions. Therefor, Daggermaw plays into two powers (the size growing and the strength). Eastwood is to reinforce the core, and hopefully Transformation + Regen + All Three Enhanced Blank does something mildly interesting. If nothing else, this is very synergy fish-y.

This is for Shelly, duh, but if Kermie's uninterested or wants to push it more mental, Daggermaw can be turned into Hunch to make her our sub-psychic.

(The mirror theming was totally inspired by Morrowlark's quest! Go read Shimmer, Glimmer, and Gleam, it's really good!)
Man that's a heck of a quest. It seems like post-apocalyptic "perception became reality" world survival, but without any major information or predictability so you just vote on vibes?

wrt next build: Should wait to see what Yara actually got before thinking about what we need next.

My new plan for shelley if we Ambrosia her next turn to make up for losing LL and Chatelet. Spec for her ESP specialty while also being helpful for the FT mission.

[] Plan Spy X Phantom
-[] Memoria 4
-[] Ispy 4
-[] Mr Hunch 1
-[] Multiplex 1
-[] Million Mines 1
-[] Potency Reduction3
-[] Total Potency: 8

Synergy: Phasewalking, Intangibility
Keywords: Clairvoyance X3, Teleportation, Invisbility, Invulnerability, Transformation, Energy Manipulation

Phasewalking and Intangibility as the synergies who due overlapping similarites should work well together. Helpful for both the FT mission and spycraft in general. Intangibility while not as strong in direct fights is pretty deadly as an assasination attack so Shelley wouldn't be helpless in combat.
Clairvoyance is at X3 to ensure it's a subpower and to help Shelley find secrets which is something she loves and makes her an excellent info gatherer. Considering how many secrets are being hidden from us our own Clairvoyance spec is helpful especially when using Spiderweb.

This is definitely pretty good for P8, and Phasewalking+Intangibility shouldn't be having to take any fights it doesn't want to, so lacking on the combat side isn't a big problem.

ESP focus is definitely the way to go for Shelley, and Phasewalking or Intangibility are the best things we have for that.

Yep and Ispy and Mr Hunch clairvoyance are definately meant for getting info so I doubt QM will change that part. Also worst case Teleport should let shelley just evac herself and others if things get to dicey.

First, we need to see at what speed would OID control and doing the Apiary expansion even give us more cap potentially. Since we're locked in at hitting 10 already off Katie and Yara, depending on how that ends up working out we arguably wouldn't be able to empower anyone new since we'd just have to exchange another global action regardless to rerecruit someone.

Also if we're trying to replace Chatelet and Leizi for the turn I imagine we'd want to use Song and his hit regardless if boosting someone for there as is, over Soraia or Shelley.

Eh Belle is fine as a Melle fighter to replace LL and even better than her at that honestly. Chatlet more of a CC and mid range attacks with her barriers.

What were really missing out on is LL esp and Chatelets ops.

Belle is strong but there is the issue of racking up injury levels over fewer people without one of our two defensive specialists when we know we are prepping to go into a trap and likely are going to have a fair few missions to go for. Having a strong frontliner who can soak those with Invulns or ABO here would be worth quite a bit.

Also if going for a Esp style one this turn I'd push for Soraia over Shelley here in a heartbeat regardless. Shelley can actually build up fairly high for Moon River prep which I still think we want to do realistically, Spoonfuls got halved in cost we might as well take advantage of it at some point.

I do kind of want to max out Shelley, which leaves Soraia for filling in whatever role we need. Tolerance 5 does mean most of the Shelley builds that have been floated should also work with her, although she'll have lower ESP since she only starts at 3 vs Shelley's 5.

As for Belle, she doesn't have an invuln tag but she's still very durable, and we technically have Handyman as a HIT 8 with ABO for frontline stuff, too.

My Stance is that Reality Check is too dangerous that another S-Class would increase our chance of success. So while its admittedly short term benefit its worth it rather insisting on turning shelley into a 9.

Eidolon showed us that having handyman as a frontline fighter instead of causing chaos is a mistake. Example. In Puella Magi using shapeshifting by imitating YQ or any of the other officers to trick the mgs or close in for an assasination.

I'd really rather empower Song given the repeated assertions that we will attract more attention than we already have if we keep only getting A- and S-tier heroes. That and he'd be a great option for a tank build.

Re: Shelley, I definitely think it's viable for her to have a spy-heavy build such as Chatroom+iSpy+Mister Hunch+Multiplex+Millions Minefield. That's a build with x3 Clairvoyance and guaranteed Intangibility, which plays directly to her strengths.

Maybe it'd be something like being intangible against anyone she marks, on top of being able to see through their PoVs? That'd be incredible even if she could only tag up to a dozen people.

Also, let's all agree that if I'm going to give you DNA, we're not going to question how contrived the circumstances are, okay? >.>

. . that's not far off!

Well, I guess Scarlet Maturity is getting a character arc . . .

Things I never thought I'd say at the start of this quest.
.....wait, of all sources of DNA, I didn't expect SM character arc to be it. We getting like a flashback sequence or something?

Reality Check is dangerous but to be blunt, we cannot afford to go hard short term here considering the kind of scaling we will be dealing with. I think doing that when Song for a frontliner or Soraia if you're set on doing another utility build here would be far better than stunting one of our higher potency options when I think better options for such exist.

This is also ignoring if we'll even be able to do so spacing wise without forcing us to take an extra global action, etc.
