she pulls out old style photograph "This is my family back home... got three little kids and the light of my life... can't wait to see them again once this is over"
"Rosemary, that's just a bunch of your drones dressed up like Leave it to Beaver."
So, I've been thinking long and hard about how a Biokinesis build could happen. It seems that avoiding "spillover" like with Justicar is crucial, and a Biokinesis power would likely involve Telekinesis since you can't directly touch the stuff you're healing.
(This probably isn't the only way to get healing powers, Indemnity's power seems to be something esoteric like Arc's, and Mendicant seems to have a form of Autobiokinesis)
Please be Biokinesis:
Solferina (4) + Wind Rose (5) + Mister Hunch (1) + Hydrocity (1)= 11
The idea is that Solferina's ability to manipulate chemical impulses is expanded on by Wild Rose's Telekinesis, and x2 Clairvoyance allows us to "scan" bodies to see what we're manipulating. Meanwhile, Hydrocity allows us to generate fluids to integrate into our manipulation of the body.
Soraia Builds: Sneaking People Into the Party:

X2 Clairvoyance, Teleportation, Energy Manipulation, Invisibility
Sun builds: Shadow Army:
Tenebrism+Soldier X+Daggermaw+Multiplex (7)
x2 Transformation, x2 Enhanced Strength, Construct Creation, Solar Absorption, Energy Manipulation, Enhanced Senses, Teleportation, Fitness
Name: Eastwood, Charlotte Martin Ibis' Notes: Now, to set up my dating profile . . . name? THE Dr. Emeril "Mammoth" Ibis. Sex? Sure, why not? Ha! I'm hilarious.

. . . is that anything? I'm working on my flirtatious small talk. I'm not very good at it!
I don't even think that matters at this point. At this point there are so many synergies potentially that I don't think too much about what could happen
This one turned out pretty good. In my mind a Doctor Silver run would be a more down to earth detective story with an emphasis on science and I think this fits that vibe.

Oh,is this like the live action adaptation that is completely divorced from the original setting except maybe a few cameos from other PP characters in the background ?
I figure if we need to use Dynamite in a situation that involves Sraclet Maturity in some way, we have to use Fantastic Metal, Steadfast and another member of Guardian Wave.
I wonder if we will see Apiary write the letters that inspired the rest of JU to leave their own personalized messages in case of death.
I wouldn't be surprised if Apiary was 100% aware of the possible ramifications of creating her army of bioforms such as losing herself completely within the hivemind with no way to come back AND YET she still went through with it to protect her family.
This would also explain her creating the Apiary (The Building) as a last gift to JU should the worst come to pass.
What frustrates me here is that Novalight after witnessing Rosemary create her army will most likely feel vindicated for here lies proof that NOVALIGHT WAS RIGHT.
"Rosemary Ward is an existential threat to all of mankind and should have never been released from Wonderland." Or something like that.
After all the reasons for why Apiary decided to unleash her full potential are irrelevant.
(I just hope Novalight isn't actually aware of the limitations and dangers of Rosemary's hivemind)
.... I am now wondering if the reason JU severed ALL ties to ND is Novalight's response to Apiary's death.

No, there's a reason why it's still a comic cover style logo. If Justice Unlimited is Justice League then this would be a solo run for someone like Mr. Terrific or the Question. Still in the same setting and not realistic at all, but not fighting the same type of threats.
A lot of people in the world didn't like mascot costumes. To them, costumes were hot, humid, and heavy. Not to mention completely and entirely silly. But to him, it meant something else. It felt like a second skin, a second chance at life. For once, all of his mistakes were shed and left behind when he donned the costume. He was someone he was not, and he felt all the greater for it.
The glaring lights of the cameras trained themselves upon him, and he gave a jaunty wave at the camera from his costume. His co-host Mary, a bright and brilliant woman greeted the audience: "Welcome back friends! We're so glad to see you again! Are you ready for another fun-filled day with our friend Donniesaur?!" She said with joy, waving at his direction. He advanced forward towards the screen, waving his hands around. The children in the audience cheered loudly, their excitement washing over him. He smiled brightly under the costume, for no matter how many times he saw them, it always made him happy to see them smile and cheer with such pure joy. "Hello, friends!" He said, jauntily waving towards the audience and the kids on stage.
"What will we be doing today, Donniesaur?" Mary asked him, and the kids surrounding her reiterated the question: "Will you tell us, Donniesaur? Tell us, tell us!" He patted their heads one by one, and said loudly: "Today, we'll be talking about the importance of imagination, friends!" Mary gasped in delight. "You hear that? Imagination!"
The kids oohed in awe. The camera panned onto him, and he continued: "Imagination! Imagination can be used for a lot of things! You see.. when you allow yourself to truly dream, you can accomplish such great things! I want you all to start imagining with me! Think about it! Imagine.. imagine a friend! What do you see?" The children closed their eyes, and soon he was bombarded with cheerful answers: "Ooh! My friend is a unicorn! She's really beautiful and her hair is rainbow coloured!" One little girl said, and Donniesaur rushed over and patted her head. "Does she have a name?" The girl nodded: "Lucy! Her name is Lucy!"
One by one, the children rushed forward with their answers. One boy however, raised his hand, and he mentioned for the boy to speak. "..But what if I imagine scary things.." The boy spoke nervously, his tone hushed and quiet. He understood what the boy meant. Children sometimes imagined monsters and vile creatures instead of brightly coloured friends, and it can be really frightening for them. So he puffed his chest out, making his Donniesaur costume look as imposing as possible. "Have no fear, for I, Donniesaur the Great will banish all the scary things in your head!" He said, and the boy's expression brightened significantly as the children burst into cheers.
"Remember friends. Never be afraid to dream. Never be afraid to use your imagination. You'll accomplish great things one day if you do. And please remember.. remember that even if nobody is on your side, Donniesaur is here! And Donniesaur loves you!" He says.
He's always been weak. Weak and odd and small. It hadn't changed even when he developed powers. And yet.. when he was in the Donniesaur costume, he felt strong. Like he could be there for the children.
The cameras dimmed quietly as the shooting stopped, but he remained there for a few moments, quietly enjoying the warm feeling in his chest.
Donniesaur will always be there to protect the children. That he can be sure of.
He turned to thank Mary for her hard work when the screams began.
"Fire!" One crew member screamed, pointing at something. He turned his head around and noticed bright peals of flame bursting from a group of cables on the floor. In their panic, someone hurled water over the exposed wires, and in doing so only intensified the fire. The screams rose, and the children were crying. Crew members were running away in the panic, and it didn't take long for Mary to begin herding the children away to safety as they cried and screamed. He joined her immediately, doing his utmost best to keep them calm.
Just as he reached the exit, he turned around to make sure no kids were left behind, and that was when he saw it. The boy from earlier, left on top of the stage alone, crying loudly as the flames consumed the set. The poor boy had been left behind, and his heart began thrumming in his chest. He had to do something. He rushed to the stage as fast as possible, ignoring the flames, and grabbed the boy tightly. He ran to the exit, panting in exhaustion and sweat from the sheer daunting task of running under a humid costume, and pushed the boy out the exit door.
That was when the burning wreckage struck him just as he shoved the boy away, setting him ablaze. He screamed, he screamed and dropped to the floor and began rolling. Mary was already there, yelling at someone to extinguish the fire.
He blacked out.
What happened next was a blur.
The show was cancelled, of course. And the doctors dropped a bombshell on him. Due to his power to stretch his body at will, his skin had taken a rubbery consistency and fused with the costume after he had been set aflame. They could not remove it without crippling him for life, and as such he would have to learn to live with it as a second skin. It was permanently grafted onto him now. What was once a source of joy for him was now a constant mockery of the day, and he had been fired from his job unceremoniously as the crew faced criticism for unsafe work conditions.
Just as he began packing his things, he overheard it. A person whispering inside the office. He should really leave, it had nothing to do with him. But something compelled him to stay and listen, and what he heard chilled him to the bone.
"Starting that fire was surprisingly worth it." A voice said, and he peered inside to recognise the speaker as one of the higher ups, speaking away on the phone. "Now, we can rake in the insurance money and keep ourselves afloat for a little bit more."
"What about that show? It was unpopular as hell anyway. Nobody gives a flying fuck about some dumb blue dinosaur teaching the kids about the most basic shit in the world." The voice spoke. And he remembered. He remembered how the kids were screaming and crying, faced with a danger they could barely understand. He remembered the joy on their faces when he smiled and cheered and played with them. He remembered the promise he made.
Donniesaur will always be there to protect the children. Donniesaur will always be there to make the monsters go away.
Make. The. Monsters. Go. Away.
The higher up's screams went unheard. And when they opened the office next day they found him disemboweled and mauled by what appeared to be a very large animal.
In today's news, another murder has been attributed to the vigilante Donniesaur. The costumed murderer is still on the loose, and we implore you to stay safe.. currently, it is not known what his motives are, but rest assured that it is only a matter of time before he is brought to justice..
DONNIESAUR! Name: True Name Lost
Age: ??? Codename: Donniesaur Stats: HIT ?, ESPIONAGE ?, REPUTATION ?, OPERATIONS ?
Powers: Donniesaur is fused to a giant blue dinosaur costume, which serves as his body. He can disassemble himself and put himself back together, grow in size, and sprout sharp teeth and claws. Additionally, he may assimilate other costumes and gain forms from them. (For example; assimilating a bear costume allows him to take on a bear form.)
Origin: This deranged metahuman was once the TV show host of a popular kids show called Days With Donniesaur. His original power was to stretch and shapeshift his body at will, but due to a freak accident he ended up fused to his costume while protecting the children with his body. He learned that the accident itself was planned by the owner of the company as part of an insurance fraud scheme, and his already fragile psyche snapped and shattered into a thousand pieces, turning him into a violent vigilante obsessed with "protecting the children" (usually with significant adult casualties.)
Progress is moving much more slowly on the update than I would like, mostly because of a lot of IRL stuff. I don't have an estimate yet, but I am chipping away at it!
And there are so many people! Horizon has a large population—it is the fourth largest metropolis in the world behind Tokyo, Delhi, and Shanghai—but a low population density. There are a lot of people, but they are spread out across the various boroughs that dot Marajó. That made it rare to see a true crowd like this, and you are feeling giddy at the sight of all of these people.
So, doing the math on this a while ago, but never actually posted it.
So, for this, I'll be using the information from this wikipedia page, using the metropolitan columns: List of largest cities - Wikipedia
I'll be using three population counts: 25 million(roughly equal to the RL 4th largest), 30 million and 35 million, to account for this being in the future.
For area, I'll be using 15, 20, 25 and 30 thousand square km, based on the size of 40,000 square km that Marajo is IRL, with the reduced sizes because I'm not sure how much space the QZ and stuff like the Creatures Den actually uses.
25,000,000
30,000,000
35,000,000
15,000 km2
1,666.67 per km2
2,000 per km2
2,333.33 per km2
20,000 km2
1,250 per km2
1,500 per km2
1,750 per km2
25,000 km2
1,000 per km2
1,200 per km2
1,400 per km2
30,000 km2
833.33 per km2
1,000 per km2
1,166.67 per km2
At the lowest density, the metropolitan area would be the 26th dense on the list, replacing Paris (646 per km2) while at it's highest it would be 15th, replacing Seoul (2,180 per km2) and being just under Rio de Janeiro (2,374 per km2).
Also, interesting fact: Mike Pondsmith, the creator of the Cyberpunk RPG setting, once described Sao Paulo(the RL 7th largest metropolitan population) and Rio (18th) as the most cyberpunk cities IRL. Both are in Brazil.

This is interesting and exposes the fifteen minutes of research I did for that line! Thought, to be fair to me, some boroughs have more dense populations than others. Which? I'll never specific (so I can make it up)!

I mean, we can make some guesses! The Northern Dock, from what we saw, seems to be dedicated to the import and export businesses, with warehouses and giant transport ships. The area's population, and thus density, is therefore liable to be low.* The Arable Band is likely where the cities farms are located and accordingly also going to have a low population and density.
Meanwhile, the Marajó Várzea region is, based on the name, likely a park where the last remnants of the islands native ecology and landscape resides, so it's population would be low as well. Finally, we can eliminate the Creature's Den entirely. Regardless of if there's anyone living there, they're now a non-factor, much like those stuck in the Frozen Throne.
As for the densest populated, that's unclear, but my guess would be either the Foot or the Workers Mitt. We already know the Foot's got one the highest populations:
And of the three, the Foots the smallest. And considering its right where all the traffic to the Ladder would take place, along with there being places like Yara's house, I imagine the Foot itself can divided into "low density" and "really high density apartment complex" areas.
As for the Mitt, it's noted to be where the blue-collar workers live, being mostly residential and to have apartment buildings, while being the smallest of the various boroughs. So while it's population may not be the highest, it's density could very well be.
*The South Dock is mentioned to have a Luxury Resort in that gameshow the Ibis's were on. So I'm guessing that the South Dock is the more touristy and upperscale waterfront area.
". . . the dysmorphic metahumans we're seeing are just growing more and more extreme, aren't they? Fascinating." He walks over and, with a single finger, lifts the press. You fall to your knees, gasping for air. "Tell me, what powers do you have aside from your changed appearance?"
"T-thanks . . ." you say, "And, uh, nothing? I get other powers?"
"Huh. So you're not even finished yet. I see. No wonder Faust has you marked for 'Fish."
