[X] . . . a small beach town, with a lighthouse illuminating the rocks in the bay. It was just enough for the passing ships to avoid catastrophe as it came, granting them sight they otherwise wouldn't have.

I just randomly woke up today at a time I usually don't. My body knew there was a Project Prometheus vote :V

[X] . . . a large marsh, vast and deep. Odd shapes swirled in the mist, indistinct portents of dangers lurking out of sight. Fairy lights danced in the bog, nearly prescribing a tale yet to come.

This is not me suggesting we take it turn 4 btw, not when we already have a lot of baggage to consider, like Spider's Web, Legally Distinct Shields, Apiary Expansion, Project Prometheus, Spoonful of Sugar, 10,000 Kicks, Rosemary's Baby, Red Glow at Mourning, Undiagnosed ADHD.
As a reminder, Prometheus, Spoonfuls, Rosemary's Baby, and Red Glow are all likely being moved to under the Ibis research and action slush fund and aren't in the actual pool anymore due to GA inflation becoming a genuine nightmare with them there.

So we're closer to having it be 6 of the following: Spider's Web (GDT or Demon Flamez), Legally Distinct Shields, 10,000 Kicks, Undiagnosed ADHD, Merchandising, Move that Bus! (REPUTATION), and Apiary Expansion barring any other new unknown globals popping up which is a distinct possibility.

Where I'd call the only 100% locked in options as at least 1 Spider's Web + 10k Kicks + Shields. I'd personally push for Move That Bus (REP) above the other 3 because its something I'm pretty sure we need to do and the Monarch/White Hawk war is probably going to be starting up and pushing hot soon so I'd rather take the hint that we got given. Its something we need to do at some point regardless and I'm generally a fan of dealing with the limited GAs over just doing repeatables where possible.

ADHD is a gacha that likely gives us something good and opens up more actions when we have stuff to do, Merchandising we'll need to see the money gain but like, there are always constant extra drains where having extra money to throw around is useful and the research/empower pool is going to drain our pockets pretty hard.

Meanwhile Apiary expansion is weird due to the new gain we're getting, where we'll be functionally at 14/20 slots filled at turn start. Yara and Katie bring that up to 16. Reserve 2 slots for Jorogumo and Sparksurfer. That leaves us space for 2 Prometheus heroes if need be, where I do doubt we'd be recruiting both Sparksurfer and Jorogumo asap regardless. Considering we're likely gaining OID control next turn, opening up another option, there is a real world where we can delay Apiary expansion exactly 1 turn without being majorly bitten for doing so. I'm still dubious that doing this over dropping ADHD or Merchandising for the turn is worth it, but it being realistically on the table is surprising.

Ibis having a good sensible haircut that was clearly done by a professional feels weird to me. Somehow imagined him as having lived more off-the-grid than that.
Two teenagers made fun of his hair once and he cried in his lab for 20 minutes. He then swore to always look sharp as he is THE Dr. Mammoth Ibis.
Minor question: Leizi obviously knows that Ronin is a part of her network, and Ellie was in the room when they touched base so she's aware. Is Rhys also aware of Ronin being a spy, as another part of the same intelligence network?
You can assume everyone is on a need-to-know basis. Wolong will known everything, however.
