The only "hard" consequences we know about right now are that we kneecapped Petit Prince a bit via saving Maddie, which, good, a long-term villain with less power is good.

...oh dear... thats...hmmm... Do you guys think that by forcing Stockpile to use his power they actually manage to figure out the Exceed armor? Not enough to mass produce it, but just enough to make idk 3-5 copies?
Speculation: we finish finding Moon River, and then the turn after a whole squad of Power Rangers/Super Sentai/Kamen Riders pull up to rock our shit, which we then have to fight off with somebody in the EXCEED-BEYOND suit.

…Or if we're boring, we just have Mona and any other invulns we have by that point lead them around until they die from the strain.

!!!

solar!!! What have you done?!?

Next turn im having Leizi investigate Petit hopefully we can kill him off early. Dont know if any of his court would be sane enough to recruit after the experience but atleast killing them off for dna is a possibility.

Everyone knows that the mass-produced clone of the hero's mech that shows up partway through a season is going to get outdone by the Version 2 refurbished by the good mad scientist! BEYOND will wipe the floor with any second-rate EXCEED copies.

You guys have the version of events with the least immediate consequences but the longest-term effects. Man, it's gonna suck waiting until we get to the point where you get to see them. :confused2:
I was unsure of this, but I kinda did get the feeling that compared to the two, the stuff going on the base of the Ladder would impact us in the most non-obvious ways. Like just from looking at the missions, I can guess maybe 1 that might get impacted, and I'm still debating with myself if that's necessarily true.

Speaking of, do you wanna mention what consequences would we have eaten had we not taken the other mission, or do you wanna wait till we finish those arcs?

Honestly Id be willing to fail timed missions apart from hero worship line to make sure we can get Eve.
After this there will be 8 turns remaining for Moon River, to pass the stat requirements we need an additional 20 H, 10 E, 21 R, 19 O. Roughly speaking we need 4 additional heroes (assuming they have ~20 stats each and balance each other) with hopefully some buffer so that her mission doesn't take up the entire turn.

However some of the available timed missions have the possibility of hero recruitment or a goldnine supply to make more heroes (Mahou Shoujo, Smoke on the Water) so if the goal is to get more heroes in a mad dash for Moon River, then it doesn't make sense to neglect timed missions either.

Ominous... but hey it follows standard dramatic progressions. Whenever the waiting gets to you, feel free to drop subtle hints about the future consequences of our actions and laugh maniacally. As it stands we are due for our mandatory early development encounter with the big bad Scarlet Maturity.

They involve spoilers for characters and things you don't know yet, so I'll keep my peace for now.

I will say the consequences for skipping New Dawn would have been apocalyptic and, honestly?, super fun for me!

Funny Enough I think normal humans might actually be able to Exceed use armors better. If nothing else cause not having Powers means theyre soul is empty enough to tank connectiong to backstage more.

Kinda like how OFA was ironially best given to Humans without a quirk. So while the users will reliant on the armor for powers it wont be burn up the users atleast as quickly like with Nora.

Of course thats with a perfect replica of exceed. I can totaly see Stockpile creating a Hack exceed thats still kills off the user, if nothing else cause he lacks the experience and specialty on metahuman powers to safely connect the exceed users on the backstage.

I mean, if you look at Bitterman's signature, we know one goal is stop (?) the Leviathan. I think Leviathan is our BBEG. Or possibly misunderstood, trying to help but Has An Alien Way Of Looking At Things mindset?

I unno. More data required.

Eh I think Leviathan is Dead and basically just a Mcguffin that the real BBEG are gonna use. Like the father and child seems more like the big bad to me.

My interpretation is that the Leviathan waking up is like somebody rolling around when they're trying to get up from bed.

All of planet earth is a bunch of ants. On that bed. Right underneath the Leviathan who's about to roll us over.

I meant more if we have choose between another timed mission or Eve when the time comes that we can take on eves rescue mission.

Oh joy, that would've been FUN:tm:! Too bad bad Plan Heroism or Scarlet Fraud didn't gain traction, amirite guys? :V
Honestly it makes sense. New Dawn being destroyed and wahts probalby a Legion of Doom setting up in the Uni district would sent entire city panicking.
Like we know New Dawn has been in Horizon ever since Superheroes became a thing and while Ssureation gutted them in rep and strenght. Even then New Dawn still a big thing in horizon.
So theyre fall would lead to massive massive waves.

JU were ironically just the current top dogs in Horizon instead of a Founding Pillar in its culture/society.

Unrelated, I would find it really funny if Maddie randomly got a +1 to Hit at some point and the notification was "Maddie has overcome her malnutrition through a healthy food regiment and is now more in shape"

Depends on who wins the Madeline Bowl LVIII. While I think that Dr. Ibis would be a good parent, his dietary preferences… not so much.

...would it be manipulative to see if we can get Rhodes to adopt her, thus filling the void left by his dead daughter and hopefully righting his path?

BTW if John decides to kill several of Demon Flamez members were fine with it right?
Normally Id prefer to hand them to police and have law judged. But considering Horizon doesnt have any police and wonderland is gone theyre really no other way to stop villains non lethally in the current situation. Unlike with Metahumans from other hero team which can just be put in parole.

It sounds like Demon Flamez was never the most disciplined gang considering their infamous for using their powers recklesslhy and without thought or planning.

It's what she would've wanted 😞

Truly, it was a sign to behold seeing Black Swan running away from an eight-legged horse with wings, crab claws, and a bone-bastilla growing out of its back. Perhaps not the most efficient shape, but definitely inspiring.
Looking forward to Specimen 3385! Maybe show Rhys specs for some of the earlier ones too, while you're at it. Either way, this will be a wonderful partnership once we get the lab back
Who was going to tell me that we hired Natalie Rhodes and not Natasha?! Now I will have to apologize to both of them when I see them! I tried apologizing to John Henry over the mix up, but he didn't respond. Is my new BFF mad at me?! Is this our first fight?!
Im 100% convinced he doesnt even know she's dead yet, because he would absolutely say "I know what it's like to bury your child" or something. And if he fumbled that sort of topic I think he'd stress vomit and lock himself in a supply closet no, im not projecting, you are! 🫵
DrFartDFA is because I didn't want to make an expy of anyone the "obnoxious asshole" poster.
Ooh me!! Me! Pick me!!!!
Any particular existing powerset plans that you'd want to give JHR?
Esoteric Utility, or anyone with a really "heady" powerset. The mans a scientist, he deserves a power that compliments that.
I wouldn't put it past the Americans to try to adapt the technology to colonize The Stage or harvest it for "resources", whatever the hell that means to them. Source: I'm an American

Keep in mind a major reason for the split between Justice Unlimited and New Dawn is that they were throwing people in Wonderland who didn't deserve to be in there.
