I know speculation is kinda worthless because we'll be getting details imminently, but I do have one question going into this:

Why does Socialite Butterfly have two powers?

Is she Key, with a power to so deeply fade into the background as to be unnoticeable? Able to even reset the memories people interacting with her? It explains why SB can be so strong, and active for 20 years, without anyone knowing about her. It also seems to align with the line that she's "eusocial and focused on the needs of the reproducer". She was also quite eager to touch people, and SB's power is touch-based.

But then SB also has the power of "Touch-based cloning of human beings, including metahumans with total subservience"?

I guess it's possible, but it seems quite peculiar.

The alternatives I see:

1) Key is some other metahuman, who is indeed focused around SB's needs. Who uses their power to keep her hidden and the world unaware. Maybe SB is Star, "posh and self-assured" as a socialite would be?
2) SB has some power different than we think that allows her to achieve both of those effects. No clue what this would be.

My own personal estimation is closer to number one

My thought is she is just the cloner. The ability to fade into the background isn't her. It's a metahuman she's kept active for 20+ years with their entire power focused on her.

Effectively she is Key either directly, or indirectly because Key is one of her clones and has been the entire time.

I would imagine she's capable of keeping several cloned metahumans on at the same time and empowering her, and one or several of these are how she's capable of being so capable of fading into the background that the narrative merely describes that she is speaking, not her actual words.

My hope is that, the more complex the task she sets onto her clones, the shorter-lived they are.

No, I think SB is Key, and simply pops down a copy of whatever clone has that power whenever she needs to use that power. She only consistently shows off that power because the Philosophers are not friends, and she is not going to tip her real power to them. I expect the person she is copying was Key, and she killed and replaced the original decades ago.

A fair bet but right now I am thinking the philosophers will, not having all a company like Faust dose, may have a powerful meta or more allied with their philosophy

Nox doesnt have invusibility or ally empowerment. Though Chatroom Range could boost Nox emeotion eating range.

Similar to how DS got perfect space recogniton in a 100 yard range.

Chatroom would also mean we can try out my idea for a telepathy synergy, what with double Clair (Chat and Hunch), double Mental (Nox and East), and one Ally Empower (Chat).

True and even with Yara going for esoteric psi invi siybergy having a secondary Telepath esepcially one with powers on attacking mentally would be real useful against The Hand.

It can be considered an Evil Power so giving it to Soria or shelley would be easy reason why they kept it hiddef.

Plus even with no synergies the powers work really well together like with Wade family combo.

...it's 13 Potency. It's another Yara/Homer idea.
 
In light of the new changes to Ambrosia (thanks Sarah) and the fact that we can reuse DNA samples from dead Prometheans, I'm willing to power up both Soraria and Song next turn, no spoonfuls, if we don't get Yara. Especially considering how we'll likely get more Ambrosia from first contact with the R-Train.

We need to keep 1 ambrosia in case R train doesnt give us any for Ellies girls.

Also T3 is too low for me not give fastpass before powers. If we teally want 2 new Heroes just give it to shelley and Sorai then recruit more or hell just go with Cain. For decently strong powers.

Also we can just Recruit More Candidates next turn for a higher Tolernnce one.

Ah yes, the SM Quotient. Most missions are 0.2 SM, Eidolon looks like it'll be 2.3 SM, and Cenotaph was somewhere around 0.1 SM (actually about 3.6 SM tbh).

We can do all the research and boosting we want, after we get our damn income up. I think the logical course of action is to limit our Tolerance boosting, do Song and one other hero (Yara if we get her, Shelly or Soraia otherwise) next turn while we focus on money-acquiring actions like securing the OID, getting the contracts with Osayin and Kelso-Allard, or Behemoth hunting.

Side note, with these checks involving Nora's ghost, I'm 100% on getting Ellie to OPS 10.

    Man unlimited Justice is leaving money on table not merchandising any of the new members. Because as it stands I am thinking of grabbing up those Lawfulness Neverending figures because it's cheaper to try and kitbash them to almost being the new heroes.

    God those are so bad why not try and pick up some of the 3rd edition of the fourth Anniversary figures they are plentiful enough and that way JU gets the money instead of the people making rip offs. Especially with how great they were at the speeches today

    Well besides the fact I was able to grab a set of 3rd Anniversary figures and they are close enough I can't justify buying em because I ordered the Rerun of the Iron man vs Red Valiant statue, the Wonder Woman & Uiara figure from fusion series Daedalus Toys are doing after they bought out MacFarlane last year. Also the bishoujo Scarlet Maturity party because I lost a bet against @fakeearthowls
